Now imagine the school year...

The thing I like most about this years game is the realistic outfield play.

It's a big outfield again, balls actually make it to the gap, if you take the wrong route to the ball you're screwed.

I'm seriously considering taking out Juan Soto because of his/my outfield play. Conversely having a diamond outfielder helps immensely, for example take Roberto Clemente, he's not hitting well for me but his defense is stellar.

Julio Franco? He wore #28 for the Braves in 2001, and he had a BIG leg kick.

The East stage 3 is the most difficult by far.

Central is the easiest, and the West was on par with the stage 2 difficulty.

Why did they make it so hard to acquire Mike Trout. Basically the people who can only get him are the ones who play the game so much and all day long and the people who put money into the game. They need to make it easier so that people who are less fortunate can get Mike Trout and have fun on the game getting the most popular cards and to be able to have them ok their team and to use them.

I had a lol moment after I read your post. I too have spent so much time playing, moments, conquest and showdown that I say the same thing to myself. Hey, play some baseball games now.

I try my best to follow Cbrev's hitting advice, that is as follows.

1. Know the pitchers repertoire
2. Be patient, see plenty of pitches, especially early in the game
3. Pay attention to how they pitch you situationally, by count 0-2, 3-2 etc., by baserunners runners on 1st & 2nd less than 2 outs, 1st and 3rd etc.
4. What are they throwing 1st pitch, 2nd pitch are they using a pattern, are they throwing hard then soft, are they doubling up pitches
5. Know the pitchers stamina & confidence, when it's low be prepared for more mistake pitches

Finally, when they make mistake pitches you must take advantage of them.

NJ public schools lost over $300 million in state funding, yet as of right now many districts are planning on having teachers and students head back into the classroom 4-5 days a week with modified schedules. They're also planning on playing fall sports, including football.

I'm sure they'll be able to manage outbreaks better than a professional sports league like the MLB. /s

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure we're going to see a huge spike by the end of September.

If it only too one week for the MLB to have a major outbreak, I have to believe it won't take until the end of September.

Making schools open for face to face instruction in the middle of a spike in cases is about as smart as tossing gasoline on a fire. Makes 0 sense.

Welp 1st game with Rickey...

Granderson walked it off in 9th with a bomb to left, unfortunately the op dashboard before homer counted though.

Me too lol. People begging for stats and when I strike out their first batter because I make them earn it, just like I expect to earn my own, they quit

I've turned off my messages because I'm so tired of a pause as soon as the game starts, then a You have a new Message, and they are asking me for help.

It's a game, have fun, play the game, why try so hard?

I think baseball is going to happen. They can't just go back now, with all the negotiations and the beef with Manfred. I'm sure they're not going to mess around if players test positive, given a quarantine system they have in place already.

On the bright side, should stars test positive and be forced into quarantine, it'll give rooks the chance to be called up and show their stuff.

I know what you meant, I wanted to point out how shortsighted your thought process is.

So after the rookies, who will also get it, what happens next. Oh yeah, what about the coaches/trainers/umps and all the other ancillary folks involved in the physical day to day operations.

This virus isn't just the flu...it's a devastating disease that is highly contagious and we still don't know all that much about it.

I just think they should wait for a vaccine/treatment before starting up again. If that means no 2020 season so be it. I want all of my favorite players and even hated rival players and everyone else involved in MLB and their families to be alive for the next baseball season.
