Neither of them are Shark-Map level. A Space and/or Kitchen Sink pack is about the best you can expect.

Yeah they are going to drop even more over the next week or so with more and more people getting that pack at the end of this inning program.

So, are these RIB card actually worth locking in?

Technically, if I do the Conquest enough, I can get doubles, even triples, of each player and just sell them off after locking in the first 11.

But is that throwing away close to 220K in stubs?

If you only just P2 a card why would you lock anything in????

It's not that I only go up to P2. It's just that he is one of the 3 RIB hitters I have in my lineup trying to finish out the RIB program.

The other two (Ruiz and Mattingly) are both P1s.

I'm at 65 points in the program and still have the Conquest (35) and Showdown to do (15).

Once I finish the Conquest map; unless I want to parallel any of the 11 cards, or if they're needed for an Event, they probably won't make my lineup.

While I may need them for Mo, Betts, Kershaw, and anyone else (if they do another collection) I'd rather lock in non-sellable cards first.

Do I need the stubs? Probably not. I have 250K now and nothing that I want to buy.

I may need the stubs later though, if I want to get 99 Ohtani, or any of the WS/BR rewards I don't get from playing.

I'm assuming that these RIB card will keep their value and stay around 22-25K each, so even if I don't lock the 'first' ones in; I won't have to pay extra.

I may just wait until I see how long it takes me to get the other ones (I bought these ones) just by aying and go from there.

Everyone isn’t at the same skill level. If you have the skills to complete a showdown and you fail it, 95% of the time it’s on you. You either aren’t being patient enough or your taking bad swings/making base running mistakes. It’s not likely that the game just hates you and the CPU is cheating for SDS’s benefit.

This was probably the hardest showdown for me this year, but I still completed it on the first run. Like you said earlier when you made your complaint thread, maybe just skip it and grind some Play Vs CPU for your XP.

No matter which hitters you draft; they'll do one of the following:

Hit a line drive/ground ball to the infield

Or

Hit a fly out to the outfield.

If, and that's a BIG if, you happen to get good contact and it looks like the ball land for a hit; an outfielder who has bronze or lower defense will make a super-human diving catch or scale the outfield wall like Spiderman to rob you if a homerun.

Then, if you have to pitch and not give up a run, one of the CPU team's first there batters will hit a ball, that is so far out if the strike zone that it's in a different time zone, for a home run.

Of course, it's my fault for thinking that this would be remotely possible.

But that's 3-4 combined hours of my time and about 2500-3000 stubs that were wasted.

I would've been better off mindlessly grinding the CPU for that amount of time and may have actually came away with more than 45K in XP and definitely some packs.

This is why I don't do Showdowns unless I have to.

Honestly, what will probably happen is that unless I hold off on the Conquest Maps, to do the TN Moments, I will probably make my decision once I get them all unlocked.

If they're still going for 10-15K each, I'll sell. If they all dropped to QS value (because more packs were released somehow) I'll collect them.

If my team isn't in it, I only have interest in watching the world series when there's a true underdog to root for. This year it seems my last hope for that is the braves. If the dodgers beat them, I'll be done watching baseball for the year. Astros vs Dodgers sounds like a snooze fest to me.

Will SDS actually 'allow' once card keep people from completing the LS Collection?

Just curious as I've noticed that the Buy Order column has slowly moved up and down the last few days.

Eventually all the pack bundles get discounted (like 50% cheaper, usually late in the game cycle) and people rip packs for fun and to waste stubs. That should handle any Diaz supply issues.

Exactly. Especially on rookie you are getting a pitch in the zone every single at bat. Take advantage of it and clearly they aren’t

Sure, the golden watch is useless at this point and the stubs at the end are easy enough to get elsewhere, but if you've made it this far with completing every moment it would suck to break the streak.

I doubt they'll do anything like this, but it would be cool if you could lock in X number of watches at the end to get a cool banner or something.

They should reward you with shares in the company for doing that many moments! 😐

Freeze offs are the second most common post next to Jhonathan Diaz. It’s been around since April, it’s not getting addressed this year.

EVERYTIME I've played a 9inn Play vs CPU game, for the final 8 pts to finish a Player Program; the game doesn't count.

So I decided, in order to get Whit, to play the Event and load up with 2nd basemen.

The ONLY three that I have that are actually worth starting are the Pre-Order Jackie and LS Kike Hernandez and Ozzie Albies.

So I bat the three of the in the 1-3 spots.

Throw in some Bronze SPs, as I am just going to take my three ABs and quit.

Game goes 5 innings, because I went 0-3 in the first inning.

I got ONE hit with BO Kemp, who happened to hit in the ONLY run of the game.

Two ABs each with three 2nf basemen and not one hit.

Why are you loading up on Second basemen ? That's only good in Ranked - BR or events not vs the CPU.

Not sure. I never really notice. All I know is we use to have to set everything every game. Now last couple years it stays saved for a while. So better now than it was.

I've had that issue too. It could be server traffic, but how does your WiFi look? My college's wifi slows things to a snail's pace at 9:00 PM every night.

Everyone likes to jump on the wifi excuse. Servers are just straight garbage and there isn't enough of them.

There is a huge hole in their coverage for the Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee areas (I'm sure there are more west also). When I match against someone in Florida and east coast (along with many other areas), the game connects to the server closest to the opponent majority of times which causes the game to play horribly. This is why I hope EA PGA Tour comes out next spring. Playing that will be a lot more fun than hitting 120 mph wiffle balls. Sad thing is I love baseball but this game online is beyond terrible.
