Fa show that’s absolutely true and honestly I think online creators have single handedly killed games because now everything is money based and of course creators get things for free to show off the game and then notice people to buy things to make the company money. It’s a very sad spot we are in and unfortunately there is no going back. We let Schrödinger cat out the bag and it’s only going to get worse!! Games used to be about story and relying on the game itself. Now company’s lose money on the game itself and just hope people buy micro transactions. It’s a$$ backwards and pathetic.

I agree with you but also I think the real point everyone misses is they don’t hate the game they hate what’s happened to it. They still play because it’s baseball and it’s still somewhat fun. I think coming in a forum and expressing their feelings on a game is exactly what a forum is for. You can almost say you commenting on their post is just as dumb as the post itself. If you don’t agree with it then just move on. But people choose to do it right? I do agree that some people just want to watch the world burn and it’s annoying but sometimes the constructive negative comments do carry some weight.

I watched and 100% agree with his thoughts and views. As I’ve said before it’s one thing to be negative about a game and just trash them, but it’s another thing to have a company lie and gaslight its community and then have the audacity to ask for surveys and tell us how the game is while doing nothing to fix it. There’s so much wrong with this game this year and imo sds knew this game was broken beyond repair but they put it out anyways because they needed a profit. They used to listen to the community and creators used to be big influences and the game was for the most part always fair and balanced. This was by far the best online sports game to play but now it’s so vile and predatory towards money. For everyone that says well then don’t play it, you’re the reason this game is so pathetic. You’re a sheep and you would jump off a cliff if your buddy went. People are so passionate about their thoughts because most of us have families and jobs and for a couple hours a week we want to forget reality and just play our favorite pastime game. We don’t get to spend hours a day grinding for stuff we probably won’t get. We want to hop in the game do some missions and play but we keep getting booted out or deal with cheaters or cards hid behind paywalls. It ruins the fun for the majority of this games base and it’s so sad that sds has no awareness of what’s going on or they do and they just don’t care. We aren’t asking them to split a atom or solve world hunger. All we want is to be heard and to just play a game that can both satisfy online and offline players. Surely it can’t be that hard to appease people. I get your not ever going to make everyone happy and people are always going to find something to complain about but this years game is well deserved of all its criticism. If it was playable and half way decent then yea maybe we would be over exaggerating but this years game is beyond pathetic.

I hope whenever someone pauses againts me they message me and ask for it. I’m down to give up 100 runs to each other and pad stats. That’s literally the whole point of events and winning means absolutely nothing after you get the five wins usually needed per event. If I could play one game and get all stats and missions done besides the wins I would gladly trade the person I’m playing the same deal!!!

Not to say it’s Joe’s responsibility but even he doesn’t have an answer because even he knows this game is dog water!!! This company says a whole bunch of stuff to gas light its community and then goes on streams and never addressing the real issues of the game. They have no pr department and if they do it’s a bunch of introverted 3rd graders that can’t handle conflict. I feel they get bagged on so much because they never really give us explanations on what’s going on and why their game isn’t working. In all honesty I feel bad for Joe because he takes the brunt of all these comments and sds just keeps sending him back out here to take the bullets.

Is it true that dude that was predicting cards got a 30 day ban because he found out before content dropped?? Seems kind of hypocritical for a company to ban a guy for that but let cheaters continue to go unpunished. Is there more to the story I’m missing or is this really real and sds is really that stupid of a company

Are you stupid??? I’ve played on legend with 80% chance to get reward and get nothing. If I were to play on rookie I had like 50% chance. So I’m forced to play on higher difficulty and even when I win I don’t get reward. That’s a horrible model to base a game where you can complete all missions all goals and then end up getting nothing. You spend pretty much a hour depending on which quest. That has to be the worst model to sell to people. I understand risk reward but why the hell is that even in a game like this?? That takes all the fun out of playing. Some people have jobs and families and don’t get to sit on a game for 8+ hours. And the facts are all these people in this forum that have played on higher difficulty and got nothing. What are you even talking about

I agree it’s a post about someone crying and wanting a mode removed because they can’t do it. I know it’s not a generational thing it’s just funny because it’s definitely something a younger kid would say.

my point is it forces you to play in a higher difficulty which is fine but if I’m playing in a higher difficulty then I should receive the reward. If I told you to go work for 1 hour and in the end I said you have a 70-80% chance to get paid if you worked really really hard would you do it?

Yea but an early version millennial I drank from the hose and was a latchkey kid so not the late model ones lol . Someone crying over a mode because it’s to hard is one of the softest things ever. I not saying I’m great at this game. I can do the showdowns it might take a little but I’m not gonna want it removed just for the fact that I can’t do it. I can’t really do the extreme missions but I’m not crying to have that removed.

I’m all for dragging this game in the mud it’s deserved but even I think you sound entitled. Take a game mode out because you suck is the most Gen Z response ever. Get rid of diamond quest that mode is a joke. How do you justify spending over an hour on a mode to get a silver card playing on HOF!!! If I wanted to play dungeons and dragons I would have bought that!!! If I beat the mode I should get the reward not have a 70-80% chance of HOF or better and get nothing meaningful.

It’s weird I’m hooked up to Ethernet have no problems playing any other game. Internet doesn’t go out with anything else. As soon as I try to play this game I get booted constantly and I’m at a loss for words. I don’t understand how these servers are so bad.

Yea lost two games due to connections and now can’t win weekend classic rewards so I’m hella salty. I sent two tickets in but I know nothings going to happen. I want to quit playing so bad but I love baseball and the game itself isn’t bad just literally everything else about it is lol.

My last game I got disconnected while winning but the dude decided to hit two home runs in the first and then watch both home runs like an A$$ so I hit 4 and watched all 4 to be a di** but in the end I loose connection and get fu****!!! Nothing like good ole SDS bending its customers over with no lube!!!!

I’m going to have to do it now and just take the loss but it’s so frustrating knowing my internet isn’t the problem and I lose out on the weekend classic rewards now and have to spend hella stubs to get them.

Yea so upset I just played two games in a row and got booted from both of them while winning in both games. Now I can’t receive a weekend classic reward. I’m so frustrated because I never play ranked or weekend much and was 2-0 before everything went downhill. I don’t see how it’s my fault when my internet is super fast with a ping of 8 so I know it’s not me. Now I can’t earn the rewards and I’m not even going to play anymore weekend classic. It’s pathetic at this point.

There has to be a way to get a game back because of server issues. 2-0 and playing game 3 and get booted because of these sh** servers. That’s fuc**** trash and pathetic. I knew it was going to happen but my dumba$$ wanted to play. wtf is even going on at this point!!!!

Let’s say this problem with EA gets solved and because of creators and the community coming together they have to fix there greed.

Who is it going to take creator wise for this community to step up and get people to stop playing and get changes made? Now I know probably this year is done but if we can start now and get it going for 27, isn’t that what we want? A lot of people on these forums have stuff to say negatively but are we all willing to sacrifice buying the game in order to send a message to SDS?

Anyone else stuck on game 4 of the new mini seasons!! It’s a glitch for me I keep playing and getting xp and goals but stuck on game 4 and won’t go past it. I’m going to keep playing it to get all the xp and rewards but yea won’t let me go past it. I know I can probably just restart the season but might as well take advantage of the xp and goals I can get before I move on lol
