This is what happens when you put 99’s in from the jump. You catered to the few and now this game has been so boring since the end of season 1. How to do have a 99 chipper that’s definitely end game and then have a new 97 chipper it’s pointless. The grind is stupid why am I going to play a game to grind for 95-97’s?? I haven’t touched this game since the end of season 2 and I honestly don’t think I’ve missed anything. I try to come back on and play but it’s so stale and repetitive. This is my favorite sports game to play and it’s sad that it’s gotten so boring.

Not to take sides, but he did say its his favorite sports game. It's not so easy to walk away completely, in that case, so he came back, pants around ankles and got let down again

You have a good point, it certainly was a good way to get a bunch of people to buy the game.
What I don’t get- why would they back peddle? If all that is left are the die hards, why give us 90 useless TA cards? I’m always trying to see the silver lining in this game but this 97s and below business of cards we already have is a complete waste. I’ll still play because I enjoy the collecting and playing the actual game but it makes little sense. Can we expect Finest to be 97s this year? There is nothing to build toward

Yeah so essentially a big middle finger to the loyal supporters of the game, bad business move for the following years.

I guess they wanna keep us on their game getting all of those 90 useless cards to get those 7 cards in the TA season 4 collection tree or at least the last 5 which are the 99s. I mean who doesn’t want Nolan’s horse?

They give you the 90 useless cards to keep you engaged. The longer you are engaged the likely hood is that you will spend money. It’s the model business plan of “Player Retention”
I know you flip for stubs so you don’t spend money but “you” means people.
