Still stuck with an unplayable game...

Same thing happened to me last night. Seems the set1 ineligible players are locking us out of lineup screen. Hope they fix it soon or diablo looking good.

I agree +1 or -1 is always the play, end of story. Unless you are trying to buy a player you want but as far as flipping goes, anything more ruins the value of the market overall as someone will always be there to jump. I also take into consideration they have some kind of computer program running this "market", otherwise we wouldn't see half the transactions we do.

I have been locked from playing DD online ranked, conquest, miniseasons with An Unhandled Server Exception has Ocurred. I can still play events(bleh) and I can still play BR(yeah!) but 2 weeks out of the grind and no help in sight, it kind of seems pointless. I was already burnt out with so much comp grinding and stat chasing that maybe this was a good thing.I will also say I have never spent a dime past basic purchase price, I have 2.6 million stubs sitting and every major player already bought.
This game is not broken, but the idea and money grab of DD is. Even before the game became unplayable for me technically, it was feeling unplayable overall. So many 1-0 games facing the same pitcher(oftentimes on both sides) is boring and unrealistic baseball. Too many games where one user quits because he doesnt want to be no hit for 8 innings after 1 run is scored. I even had a 9 inning game I won 1-0 and I got no hits in the game. This is boring and it should be one of the funnest modes in the game.
I tried Online Rated and have been having a blast. The games play more like real baseball. the stamina tracker is good and keeps folks from using the same pitchers over and over. You can choose your difficulty!!!! I like All Star pitching with vet hitting seems to be a good balance and you need to be good on your pitching game because there will be hits. Oh yeah, you can actually hit the ball playing on these settings and it takes away any lag problems your oppponent my be dealing with that will affect your hitting. One of the biggest things i find in these games is the fact that nobody has quit even being down 7-2, you know that you can get back in the game. Seems that good sportsmanship is alive and well in this mode. You can be crafty and set up your own pitching rotation using different teams or you can man up and play your favorite team the whole time. It also seems that SDS is on top of any roster moves and keeps the pitching rotations up to date with real life. I am impressed with this mode and it has given me a new appreciation for my favorite game that I was starting to hate.
I still cant play DD modes but I dont think i want to anymore except BR which is the most brilliant mode(and locking it behind a paywall is asinine). I would love to see BR expanded upon to include 9 inning option as well as 3 inning option.
If you are feeling burned out on the DD grind and you like online baseball, try online rated. I am not giving up on my favorite game just yet, I am just finding other ways to enjoy it(although not by choice, please fix your game @sds_adam_MLBTS @sds)

Some folks have a tough time with reading and their comprehension is deplorable. Probably saved yourself a lot of misunderstanding and confusion. BTW, thanks for your simple-minded fix, you solved the problem. Go pat yourself on the back buddy.

To be fair it is a wall of words, i understand were your coming from and get that your frustrated because you havn't been able to play, but maybe use some paragraphs instead of one big run on.

Not to mention the person that replied was only trying to help.

Once again with the reading comprehension, at what point did I say it was anyone's fault? Was the guy responding really trying to help or just trolling? Like he hasn't read all the posts like a good troll to come and say I didn't read what you wrote but here's how to fix it.

I am frustrated Sam and yes it is with sds and none else, but I am an old man and will call bs when I see it. You have yourself a good night bud. Also I thought I tried to bring some positivity to a negative situation with this post but I am seeing how this forum works more and more.

Remember the good ole days of online franchise. DD ruined a great community of baseball lovers. I am still friends with the folks I met playing online franchise. Any copy of the show I have bought since then has been chasing that experience(and a huge letdown).

@squishiesgirl_MLBTS I’ve thought for years that the market is run by computer buying and selling at will to keep the prices in line. No matter what happens the orders get filled buy or sell.

I got back into cards in 2017 because of this game, wanting something tangible for my money other than "fake" digital cards that they take away every year. I went after Bellinger, Judge, Ohtani, Soto, Tatis, Guerrero, Bichette. When the pandemic hit and cards exploded, I had a blast buyng and selling. I stopped buying cards last year as the odds seemed to be getting worse and it felt like the disaster of the late 80s, early 90s all over again what with overprinting. I have a great collection that I still pull out and go through every so often. I will hold onto what I have with the hopes a grandkid gets interested someday and I can blow their minds

It kicked me out and gave me an unhandled server exception occurred.it now shows this for every game mode because my roster is screwed with set 1 players in it and I can't get in to reset it. Only thing I can play is moments or offline lol. Game sucks as well as the company supporting it.

Not sure how a +1 bid is a troll. And what are they jumping? 3 stubs to 5k or 3k stubs to 5k? I guess what I hate more is folks not understanding how it works and what's involved, although hate is a very strong word, I would say I am lightly annoyed by that. Please enlighten us hated trolls how we should work the market in a fashion that suits you.

I had a similar issue, I wanted to make an set 1 squad to play vs cpu and it wouldn't let me , so I just selected best squad ( not best s3 squad) and viola I was able to reconstruct my squad as I liked.
I would suggest selecting best s3 squad and then adjust your squad as you like.

We get the unhandled server exception going into manage squad screen. Wish there was an option outside of that screen.

Every time I change a card in my lineup the game randomly changes other players and makes my team ineligible. I try to change them back, but it does the same thing again in a different spot. I truly cannot change one card without getting stuck in an endless loop.

Same here. Game is unplayable for me at the moment, going on three days now.

Maybe try adding players from packs to that squad until you have them all replaced.

I don’t even care about the settings right now I’m just so confused on how they decide the ratings points for wins and losses. I won 40+ straight games and jumped up from 80’s to 30’s but 2 losses can drop you 40 spots in one shot is a joke and makes zero sense.

Basically you get nothing for winnings games but penalized by death for losses.

Small sample size but I think the rating jumps you are experiencing are based off the user rating and the user rating of the opponent.

Rank is directly tied to user rating. User rating determines where you start your pvp search. If you are letting that bar go bigger and bigger, the more chance you have of playing a lower rated user and losing a lot of rating/rank if you lose to them. You are high up the leaderboard so there are is limited opportunity to get a higher rated user and gain extra rank off said user. Most of your matchups are against lower rated user and the longer you let it search, the more rank you will lose depending how low ranked the other guy is.

The way to battle this is stop your search bar within a range that you are comfortable with. This guarantees that the other user will be within range to gain rank or lose the least amount as possible if you lose. The rating gain on 40 wins against lower ranked players can be cancelled out by one loss against a lower ranked player. Limit the lower ranked players you are seeing and you will not get set back as far.

This also make sense why a lower rated user using a better team is searching higher than their user rating and you lose more because of their lower rating.

Roster update and server maintenance this morning. Still not working.
