One of youse has cross play turned off? My buddy I play coop with had it off and we couldn’t get a match. Would kick us out.

@YOSHI24_XBL the reason folks bunt dance is to mess up your pitching meter or get the game to lag so it is hard to pitch. It also messes with the animations and sometimes it can cover your pitching meter. It is totally cheating and nothing else.
I have thought for years they could fix this by locking the bunt button as soon as you touch it. Bunting still needs to be part of baseball but no one needs to hit it repeatedly.
I don’t use any other pitching but analog. Would prefer meter pitching for the old school feel but bunt dancing and the turds that do it took that option away.

@sbchamps17_NSW read other reply. We don’t all have endless amounts of time to play a video game. And like I said, it’s a choice. If it wasn’t already available in another ranked mode, I wouldn’t bring it up.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN you have the choice for on or off. Sometimes you just don’t wanna play a 45+ minute game because Timmy doesn’t know how to pitch and throws a 100 pitches out of zone. But yeah the choice should be there for me to have on and you to have off, we both pay for the game right?

Should be able to choose your own difficulty much like online rated. Also the choice for quick counts would be great.

This was happening to me before I cleaned my ps5. After cleaning, hasn’t happened again.

If everything on the game were easy and doable on first try, where is the satisfaction, the sense of accomplishment. Sometimes a video game shoves your face in the dirt and you try again, and when you finally pass a hard challenge it feels good.
I love baseball. I chose to buy this game. I choose to keep playing this game. I have found different modes to get more satisfaction out of my purchase.
I still do the DD hamster wheel and I’m all caught up to this point, but DD is the least enjoyable mode on this game.

Online rated mode is a blast this year. Try to enjoy the game you spent money on. DD is worst thing to ever happen to video game baseball.

@squishiesgirl_MLBTS I’ve thought for years that the market is run by computer buying and selling at will to keep the prices in line. No matter what happens the orders get filled buy or sell.

Play whatever you are comfortable with but know that most people rake on rookie. If they are searching any any then they use your settings.

The mode lets you choose. I play on all star, all star, with quick counts. Not everyone’s cup o tea but games go faster and I don’t have to watch a hundred pitches in the dirt. Undefeated with Dbacks online rated(only team I play) 9-0, although they reset the records so doesn’t matter.

Dumbest thing ever. Just ignore the lowball bid and put your order in for one less than the previous bid. Not rocket science. The lowball will be filled and yours is next in line.

Are y’all talking about analog swinging or animations. Honestly confused.

@jaychvz_XBL send the other guy a message asking why it gave you the loss. He should turn off after that.

Remember the good ole days of online franchise. DD ruined a great community of baseball lovers. I am still friends with the folks I met playing online franchise. Any copy of the show I have bought since then has been chasing that experience(and a huge letdown).

@MrNintendo_MLBTS I have an old model, it was dirty. If he is having this problem, he needs to clean the 4 vents inside machine.

Cleaned out my ps5 yesterday and if the vents inside are plugged it will do this. No over heat warning, immediately shut itself off. You need a t8 or t9 torque wrench available on Amazon for about $5, and a can of compressed air. Many YouTube videos to follow.

Aim to one side and throw to the other, get some crazy movement on the ball that way. Been using analog for years

@Jacob151167_XBL thank you, just finished and that advice was spot on! Was a bear but it is doable for those that are overheating or console is switching off. It was disgusting in there.
