In December 2020 I was taken to the hospital with liver failure and respitory failure. I had my transplant on Christmas Eve and came out of my induced coma a day after Christmas. They lost me twice during the surgery. After the surgery I had a lot of difficulties. I had very little strength. I had tubes in my throat and other places, I had to learn to walk again. I didn't actually get out of John Hopkins Hospital until the end of February. That was 3 long,hard months during Covid protocol with no guests or family, I was depressed and hurting. When I finally got home in begining of March I had to rehabilitate at home and get my strength back. Not long after getting home this game was released. With not being able to work and get out of the house a lot this game was a blessing, Ive wanted to play the show for a long time but I'm an Xbox player so this was our first year playing it. I grew up playing baseball at a somewhat high level. I made all state as a kid and played college ball. I never was good enough to make the pros and I realized that in college, I might've been able to play minor league like a few of my friends but I focused on life outside of baseball. Back to this game though. It really helped me ease my mind from all the stress I had been going through. It also helped me get my hand eye coordination and memory a bit sharper than it was, I know a lot of people are frustrated with this game but honestly I can't complain. This game has been a blessing for me. On a brighter note, I've come a long way, I'm back to walking like normal and feeling mostly healthy. So Im thankful to have a game I actually enjoy and can relax and play. Finding things you enjoy in life are important. Not everything in life is rainbows and butterflies. Ohtani alone is worth more than 500 real life dollars. That literally makes no sense. Especially for a card that will be pretty much obsolete in a few weeks.

Everytime I try to do today's daily moment it's says I must have 8 Relief pitcher. Please adjust lineup. Is anyone else having this problem?

I personally think Byron Buxton was the best POTM this year. Schwarber and Simien we’re good too but they’ve been replaced in my lineup. Jackie is way better than Simien. Schwarber was a great hitter but all star J.T. Realmuto is so good. He throws out everyone and has incredible speed for a catcher. Not to mention I have 39 home runs with JT already.

What’s your thoughts? Is Byron still in your lineup? What about the other POTM cards?

I met Brooks Robinson numerous times when I bartended in Baltimore, I was kinda star struck when I met him TBH. I asked him quietly if he was Brooks Robinson because I didn't want people to crowd him while he was enjoying his lunch. This man was the nicest,most humble person Ive ever met in my life, He would talk about the new players and say how good they were. Saying he could never play in today's game and never Pat himself on the back. Meanwhile he's one of the greatest Third baseman to ever Grace the field. I have so much respect for this man. What a guy,

Also I know this has nothing to do with Diamond Dynasty but we’re all baseball fans here,right? Also Dee Gordon is awesome in the game too.

I like CBrev. He’s one of the better streamers and had some nice things to say to me after my liver transplant. He’s a stand up guy. Plus he plays the game at a high level and knows what we want and need in this game.

I’m not interested in this Votto card one bit so I guess I’ll be selling those Topps Now cards and the 42 series card too. I’m always looking forward to a POTM card but when you have 25 speed and average defense it’s basically a home run or nothing. You might get lucky and have a ball ricochet of the wall and get a double or triple but this card isn’t even worth it in my opinion. I’m sure somebody will absolutely love this card but I don’t see how anyone could take him over the other beastly first baseman cards.

Is this card a huge L or am I bugging?

I agree. This year is a little more special than most, Christmas Eve one year ago I had my liver transplant. Also I survived respiratory failure and induced coma. They lost me twice but it wasn’t my time. I feel truly blessed. Time to really spread the love this year.

Why are you so bad at this game?

#1 years ago I was one of the better players. I havent played in years and unlike you children I dont spend my life on the game. Plus, i dont use cheats like monitors, game stick cheats, etc. Oh and I have a life. Good day fair child.

Let me ask you something, are you sure you’re an adult? What kind of adult makes mom jokes,insults “children” and trolls on the internet. Get it together man. That’s all I have to say about that. Huge W. Maybe the best middle infielder in the game

I have to say they really nailed it on content this time around. There’s a lot of god squad type cards. Elly is incredible. All of the negro league cards are incredible. 99 Semien and Ronald Acura look insane. My only complaint is Shohei isn’t what I expected. I don’t like that they gave him really low vision and low control on his pitches but I guess we can’t have it all. Oh and of course a 99 Adley! Best catcher in the game now. Overall a big W

I know I’m probably the only one but I really hope we get decent versions of both of these guys. I’ve always liked using super fast leadoff guys on my team. Those two seem to always get on base. I’d also like to see Kenny Lofton back in the game but I heard that’s not going to happen because of something that happened off the field. I hope that’s not true.
