Uh oh. I played the Tech Test on the S and this sort of thing happened every so often. The motion would get stuck in the middle and flub the pitch. I thought I was just bad it and had to get better at the new timing.

But yeah, we need to figure this out because I can't survive Franchise on Legend flubbing a pitch to every batter.

Where are the SDS guys at? Someone please tag them. I am fearful they are literally forgetting to address this for The Show 22. I would love to be able to use the new Xbox controllers and not have to keep buying old ones just to play this game.

They usually acknowledge the issues after we all buy the game first, no?

Well the issue existed since the beginning of MLB the show 21 and its still not fixed lol

Will there be in game chat for friends who are playing cross-platform co-op and who do not have the option to join a party with one another? Seems like common sense that they would put game chat into co-op...

I didn't have a problem with pinpoint with my xbox series x/s controller last year. I'm not saying you didn't. I'm just saying it's not across the board.

Let me add, I had two new series x controllers. One of them did perform poorly on pinpoint. The other one did not. So there's obviously something that needs to be fixed, but I was able to have success with one of the new controllers.

People were saying that if you never update your controller software and revert back to the original software on the Series X controllers that they can work.

I had the glitch playing on Series S, but you're saying you can use and old-gen controller to solve the problem?

Yes I can confirm that the old-gen will work without an issue for pinpoint. However I like the newer controllers better for hitting and stick responsiveness.
