Xbox Controller issues

Will the xbox series X controllers be addressed? I still have to use the old gen controller in order to pitch smooth on pinpoint. Considering switching to PS5 just because of this. This was also an issue in MLB 21.

What exactly was the issue? I've upgraded to Series S as I'm looking forward to creating spring training stadiums for Franchise, but if I can't pitch... IDK?

I also have a Series S. I don't remember why the stock controller doesn't work right with pinpoint, but I think it may be a hardware issue. I bought a Power A wired controller for about $30, and pinpoint is smooth with that.

What would happen if you used the stock controller?
I heard something about "rolling back the hardware update" for the controller, but I wasn't able to roll it back. After going through the process it said I was "up to date" and no other options were available.

It would glitch out or something while going through the pinpoint motion. I think the biggest issue was the motion required for splitters. I'm sure someone else could probably give more specific detail. I used pinpoint on PS5 the whole year, but I only used it a handful of times on Xbox before I switched back to meter.

The issue is that the pinpoint meter was not smooth at all. It would literally stop mid motion or just stop halfway on the downward motion of each pitch. Many pitches would have hitches or missing parts to the meter. It still isnt addressed in the tech test either. I wont buy this game for Xbox if the problem isnt fixed.

Uh oh. I played the Tech Test on the S and this sort of thing happened every so often. The motion would get stuck in the middle and flub the pitch. I thought I was just bad it and had to get better at the new timing.
But yeah, we need to figure this out because I can't survive Franchise on Legend flubbing a pitch to every batter.

Where are the SDS guys at? Someone please tag them. I am fearful they are literally forgetting to address this for The Show 22. I would love to be able to use the new Xbox controllers and not have to keep buying old ones just to play this game.

They usually acknowledge the issues after we all buy the game first, no?
