I've got hundreds of these cards. What's the play here? Quick sell for stubs or do the exchanges and quick sell the golds in the end?

Played an RS game yesterday. I had 7 hits and they were all home runs, 3 by Utley. This speaks far more to the unbalanced hitting engine than my ability as a hitter...

Nice - yes getting the thing apart is the toughest part no question. After that it's fairly straightforward.

I've seen a number of posts about DS4 analog stick drift, particularly if you intend to use Pinpoint pitching.

There's a YouTube series from a guy called TronicFix that's very good at explaining how to fix this. If you've got a few tools, some time and some patience this might save you buying a new controller.

Also videos on how to replace the battery in a DS4 and replacing a worn analog stick (where the rubber has torn) can be found.

I rescued 3 controllers and saved $75 on a new one doing these things.

Also would like a "Sim to End" type of feature that's unavailable/disabled until all Strongholds are taken. If you really want to play out the map then have at it but if you've got 100 hexes to sim to finish up then click that "Sim to End"

This is encouraging. Are we back to the accuracy we used to enjoy in say TS17? If I recall from one of the early streams it looked like meter pitching is now more accurate than analog in 21 - that’s very surprising if true.

There’s lots of YouTube videos on how to fix stick drift. If you have a few tools and the inclination you can save yourself the cost of a new controller and the proliferation of more e-waste. I fixed three controllers with various issue with help from YouTube and a few parts I bought from Amazon, it’s not too difficult if you’re patient.

Yes indeed, it was a cruel ending to a fun season. Fingers crossed for this year, I don't know what to expect really. I don't think we can outslug everybody else every night. I may be old school but I still think pitching and defense wins championships - neither of which appear to be strong suits for the Jays. But who knows? Just glad it all starts this afternoon!

People who don’t want check swings do not possess the skill to check swing. Isn’t check swinging user input? Thought that’s what you guys wanted. Or just the input you are good at? This is just another way people want the game in their favor.

Monsters of rock 89' box seats Metallica rocked!!!

I saw that show at Rich Stadium in Buffalo. Van Halen (Sammy - boo!), Metallica, Scorpions I think? We were on the field 20 rows back, had a blast. The day before the show I was accosted by a car full of locals for having long hair. Somehow I talked my way out of getting beaten up or shot. Next trip to USA was to Detroit, somehow we didn't get beaten up or shot for having long hair...

T he Old Mile High Stadium in Denver!! Metallica, Van Halen,Scorps, kingdom Come, and Dokken! I think it was a 14 hour concert maybe 15? No occifer, I was not blitzed out of my mind that day!!!

Dokken right, had forgotten them, cripes over 30 years ago now. Kingdom Come now residing in the "where are they now file" as they say. In fact most of my long hair is residing in that same file...

Any DS4 controller can be fixed if you have the inclination, a few tools and YouTube. I had the pci/stick drift problem, the fix is to take the controller apart and spray the stick potentiometer with electronic contact cleaner. Search YouTube for "Fix DS4 stick drift". I had three controllers all of which had different problems, instead of paying $70 for another new one I bought a replacement battery and a pack of replacement sticks, cost me about $20 on Amazon.

Finest Lindor - retains diamond defense at 2B, great swing, ball jumps off his bat from both sides of the plate.

Just completed that one this morning. I went Directional, normal swing, up on the stick to influence a fly ball for the XBH. Facing Kershaw so try to lay off the curve and slider and wait for a hittable fastball. Later in the game CPU brought in Jansen so I switched to zone and hit a single. Not much of a tip I'm afraid, just have to wait it out until you get something hittable.
