1st off...

If the Xbox can’t support it at its current generation and this is known then why even sell the game? Why keep it on the marketplace as essentially a land mine for baseball fans? Also are you living under a rock or are you unaware of how hard it is to actually get a next gen console right now?! Everyone keeps saying “current gen can’t support”….. To answer your first issue, MONEY. It can run the game, but it’s going to run it like a 2003 dell computer. Nobody with next gen is talking about frame rate issues. Why? Just GO compare the specs between the two consoles..

Not to mention the fact that thwre are devs on this very forum that confirmed that the game is in fact capable of 60fps on current gen hardware.. (any other game I play with significantly larger file sizes run 60fps no problem) so it can’t be a hardware issue when legit no other game I own does this and I’ve had the same setup for 3 years now

Number 2, how can you say no other game does this? When you don’t even own a next gen console. So have you played PubG on both consoles? You’ll see a difference... how about Warzone?, No?, 2K?. Literally every game I’ve played it’s a night and day difference on how it runs. You literally have to wait almost a whole 30 seconds between load screens versus what next gen has to wait... But it CANT be the console right? And as for the devs saying they have came out and said it can run 60fps... they can’t come out and say it doesn’t. There making money on sold copies to current gen like it or not they don’t care about how your game runs.They literally had a update 2 days ago saying they fixed “freeze offs” and that didn’t happen. You believe what you wanna believe, but from someone who has played MLB on current and next gen, I’m 110% positive it’s the hardware you have.

Look at the date of the OG post for freaking sakes…what day is it today? There’s been how many updates? If you can’t do it cool but reformat the game so that it actually runs on current gen or offer refunds for anyone who made digital purchases…. Hell.. at least acknowledge that the problem exists don’t just bump random posts about BR packs and other things that a lot of people don’t even know about because they aren’t even able to play the game

I haven't played this on PS4 only PS5. I'm guessing they got rid of the faster performance setting. If that's the case I'm sorry you guys have to deal with that.

I have an Xbox one s… it literally has to settings to optimize to 4K @ 120 ON THE FREAKING CONSOLE SYSTEM SETTINGS…there’s no way it’s a hardware problem…it isn’t “server issues” because I haven’t played a single online game yet (only played RTTS to this point) and I’m not even tryin to run it that high lol there’s legit no other explanation I can think of other than the game wasn’t optimized properly ‍️

A fix for a 60 dollar game should not be to buy a 500 dollar console… good luck even finding one for less than 800 right now… terrible take my guy

I think you’re missing the point.. both cars still drive and are both capable of reaching speeds of 60. I’m not expecting 4k @120hz.. I’m simply asking for the game to do what it was advertised to…it’s literally un playable on a platform in which it was advertised would run to at least 60fps…do explain how someone is supposed to enjoy a game that drops to 15-20fps. in a game that’s entirely based on timing?!…im whining because the quality of the product I purchased completely contradicts what was advertised?! Horrible take…

you are assuming that the game runs the same on both systems when clearly that is not the case - the ps4 sounds like a jet engine is going to take off when you play MLB stadiums

the two systems are WORLDS APART and the fact that you cannot see that is laughable at best

None of what you said has any merit…. I’m still dealing with horrendous frame rate drops in RTTS on current gen… dont see how that can be a server issue so much as the game being poorly optimized for the current gen platform.. tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail… I think we’re all pretty much in limbo until they either come out and flat out say they can’t fix it or till they actually do.‍️

Another baseless statement with no actual substance in regards to the topic.. hell even 07 ran smoother than it does on Microsoft… I would have settled for a reskin of mlb 20 with newer rosters… it’s insane to think someone is “whining” for not being able to enjoy a game that they paid for

It would also appear that you don’t quite understand the difference between hardware and software… if the frame rate issue has been a thing since it’s released and is still unresolved to this day then it should either come with a disclaimer in regards to such, a refund policy similar to cyberpunk, or should just be completely de listed from the online store… imagine thinking you’re superior to anyone else who roams earth because you have a newer toy than someone

I think you’re missing the point.. both cars still drive and are both capable of reaching speeds of 60. I’m not expecting 4k @120hz.. I’m simply asking for the game to do what it was advertised to…it’s literally un playable on a platform in which it was advertised would run to at least 60fps…do explain how someone is supposed to enjoy a game that drops to 15-20fps. in a game that’s entirely based on timing?!…im whining because the quality of the product I purchased completely contradicts what was advertised?! Horrible take…

you are assuming that the game runs the same on both systems when clearly that is not the case - the ps4 sounds like a jet engine is going to take off when you play MLB stadiums

the two systems are WORLDS APART and the fact that you cannot see that is laughable at best

ill take it a step further for you and say that i have no desire to play against people with old systems or [censored] internet

Like my guy I’m not expecting it to perform to the level of the newer consoles… I only want what was advertised which was 60fps @ 1080p… the hardware can handle that. No other game I own has this problem except for mlb..I only want what was advertised as previously stated… no more no less… I don’t understand what’s so hard to comprehend about that lol it’s like you aren’t even reading what I type

A fix for a 60 dollar game should not be to buy a 500 dollar console… good luck even finding one for less than 800 right now… terrible take my guy

None of what you said has any merit…. I am well aware of the fact that the newer gen consoles are faster… but that seemingly negates the fact that the current gen is still capable of running the game to the advertised specs? While simultaneously running every other game I own at the same frame rate consistently? If it was solely a hardware issue then why does no other game I own do this? Unless of course it’s nothing to do with the hardware and everything to do with the formatting of the actual game…. Keep reaching tho bud
