I ran into some cheesers this last week myself. I couldn’t believe people still do that [censored] but whatever.

If all sets are available for season 6, numerous captains should be available.

Keep sets but tweak it a bit. All captains should be core cards and 2 wild card slots. One for offense and one for pitching.

I’m 48…..you ain’t seen nothin yet. It gets so much worse lol. 6 years ago I could make WS. Now…….once I get to 700 it’s just not much fun anymore. I tried playing the last couple events…..I didn’t have the patience for 5 wins.

I used him. Threw a complete game with him. Much better than I thought he would be.

More often than not, I’ll get my spin but it’s when I first turn on the ps5 and BEFORE I jump into DD. Ultimately I never get the reward. This has been going on all year.

Trying to load my event roster with august MA cards. Several are not showing up but already have them. This is strange.

My guess would be SDS doesn’t wanna reward wife beaters with cool cards. Especially “Ozuna……..from the Braves”.

I think the early release of 99s is a good thing. If they didn’t do that, only the big money spenders would have 99s early on (at least three via the LS collections). That’s an advantage that will last months, unless you work market more than you play the actual game. And who wants to do that?

I also believe early 99 rewards for making WS or going 12-0 in BR is also a good thing, because why should making WS in September reward you more than making it in April?

I can agree with you all about not liking expiring cards, but vehemently disagree about early 99s. I love that they did that.

I also loved the early 99’s. Long overdue!!!

It’s fine to put a ceiling and a floor on team builds, events are already trying this, and would go a long way in improving play in ranked, but cutting off a huge chunk of cards is just not right. I don’t mind them releasing different versions of the same player but def not lesser versions. I also think all final collection cards should be core cards. Such as Pedro, Babe and Chipper.

Honestly I still don’t think the sets were a terrible idea, just the execution. In previous years I didn’t necessarily like waiting months for the really good cards. I think this would have been good if set one TAs were 96 with maybe a dozen or so 99s in other places in the game. Then set two TAs were 97s set 3 98s and now set 4 juiced up 99s. Then you roll into finest with tons of 99s. This way would have given some popular 99s early in the cycle but the 96 TAs would have still been usable and then as the cycles progressed the Team affinity cards get better.

I’m with you 100%! I hated waiting for the top tier cards. I remember last year Kwan went 5-5 in April and got an 84 gold Topps now card. So I was happy they changed it. But they still screwed it up.

Played back to back CQ games tonight. The first was in all star and I won 27-0. The second was on rookie and I won 1-0. It’s crazy.

So wait…..30/30 Trout is in packs???

It seems every year they get a new legend that only gets one card. I just don’t understand it. Did that to John Olerud one year.
