I don’t think it’s a difficulty thing. I understand where the OP is coming from. I think it’s more of a time thing, you get deep in, hit some bad luck or whatever and it’s back to the start. Not everyone has tons of time to play. Maybe a buy in option like for BR entries would be an idea. Let’s say you lose in the fifth challenge, you can than have the option to pay like 2000 stubs for a continue.

This isn’t Wall Street. Five million stubs, one hundred thousand stubs or fifty stubs. It’s virtual currency with no value, who cares.

I don’t know what’s becoming more common, these common card threads or I picked X player twice.

As a Jays fan I’m just excited to see the likes of Halladay and Delgado return to an MLB game. It’s just fun having them.

Go watch any YouTuber like Koogs, Littleman, YFK, etc. And you will see most of their lineups are identical. It’s thanks to Koogs that I can’t stand the term “God Squad” anymore lol.

I don’t run a god squad. My team consistently changes which is why I also don’t have any Parallel V cards.

The only team that’s remained consistent for me is my Jays theme. Use them mainly offline and in friendlies vs friends.

Tough CHOIC on what card to pick.

I think many people are tired of the same formula with moments and just want to see something new introduced. It would be nice to see something different like say “Collect X amount of hits with Y player’s LS card in your lineup.”

That way you can continue playing the mode of your choice, earning PXP, program XP etc. while working towards the Topps Now cards.

I love the amount of content but I’d rather see more players. Instead of three versions of one player, spend some money on licensing and get more players to add to the moments and programs.

Think of it like a blitz mode. In and out quick and on to the next one. Some people prefer that then playing a full game or in events case, a three inning game.

It’s a known issue that many have pointed out. Hopefully it’s patched soon.

Walter Johnson is an underrated pitcher in my opinion, don’t hear people talk about him much. I’d also say Olerud, he can be sneaky and plays over his power rating.

I still can’t believe the custom logos not showing up on jerseys or on the scoreboard is still a thing.

The reliever stamina is an issue and trying to get parallel xp for them is going to be tedious. It’s like the game wants you to pitch to contact and hope for a three pitch inning.

I didn’t know every MLB player should play basketball because they are a great athlete.

Pin Point, it’s much less forgiving than last year that’s for sure.

One of the biggest surprises for me is Prospect M.J. Melendez. I don’t know what it is about his swing but he rakes for me.

No ultimate team mode will ever be perfect and please everyone, let’s get the obvious out of the way.

I believe MLB has a much higher player base that sticks to DD offline than say NBA, Madden, Fifa and NHL. You can get a lot of great cards by never touching online. You can in the other games as well but from my experience the rewards in MLB are handed out more frequently than the others.

At the end of the day, when the baseball season is over and the player base drops significantly it won’t matter and the collection for everyone will start again in 2024. I don’t buy stubs, or VC or whatever currency EA decides to use because of this. They are virtual cards that are useless when the new game comes out. However, I don’t care if people choose to spend hundreds to obtain packs and cards, your money, do as you please!

Just enjoy the game, if you’re not having fun or it is just making you angry, there are thousands of other games out there to try.

Hairston was a pleasant surprise. Sure, he has Otis Nixon type power but he could find gaps and was an XBH machine for me.
