@MarioMendoza935_XBL yo that’s awesome, I did this at the start of year too, but made a plus sign over the pitcher to help me learn release points on pitch types faster.

Analog pitching with all sounds muted. Only time I have turned my monitor speakers on was for the negro leagues storylines. Which I must say, Bob Kendrick is terrific.

Good rule of thumb, when you start a new mini season, always check that there is 7 or 28 games before you play the first game. If it’s less, then restart it immediately because it won’t progress. Also note that this is the case for every single iteration of mini seasons.

Hope they add Yan’s k dance in too. If they are gonna have soto’s obnoxious ball stare, this would be its ultimate rival.

@dolenz_psn @spawnofditka_xbl both on the nose comments.

The casual vs hardcore is an interesting debate. IMO it has very little to do with skill level. While higher skill can increase personal engagement, you can still fall into either category, regardless of skill.
Causal gamers pick up a game to kill time or briefly entertain themselves. They don't care about the result and when the itch to play has been scratched, they move on. Minimal investment, no commitment.
Hardcore gamers require investment and commitment. They put the time in, they look for outside resources to research (better hitting/pitching, roster building, etc.) and they strive for the results to be shown. Chasing set personal goals in a game would also fall under the hardcore umbrella (collecting everything, being highly ranked, specific performance thresholds). They also care a lot more, especially when they feel they are being cheated out of expected results.
In this case particularly, when a game or developer puts the player in a position where they feel as if both are literally working against them to achieve what they want to(bugs, paywalls, ridiculous matching, etc.), than the hardcore player base begins losing interest and moving on.
Meanwhile the casual gamers have already moved on because they couldn’t care less and just want to play something that when you press this button, this happens as expected. MLBTS certainly is not that.

@NWOStunna_PSN man I could not agree with this more. We have to start improving these odds at some point or offering more choice packs. I collected literally 100 random headliners packs from the HoF mini seasons. After opening them I pulled zero headliners and four sub 87 LS players.

I personally play for grind. For the most part, not including the golden “1000 rating” cards everything is earnable or buyable on the marketplace. I have spent very little money overall(Jackie robinson pack, lightning pack to start the year), but I don’t buy stubs. Now granted, I’m nearing 2000 total play hours and while a chunk of that is franchise and rtts, most of it is DD. I’ve had no issues grinding stubs to complete any of the master collections. TA is done for every team, I have completed every event/program/collection along the way since launch and overall I feel like my grind has been rewarded only because of the time I’ve invested.
With that being said, I’m pretty much burned out and play much less than I used too. But still have millions of stubs and every “player” card that can be collected. Sadly the completionist mindset in me won’t let me stop as long as more content is released.
I think a big part of completing everything isn’t just playing baseball games over and over also. If your goal is to collect everything and not spend money, than you have to be prepared to spend a lot of hours on the marketplace, buying and selling is a must do, especially if you don’t have the time to play a lot or aren’t a high ranked player.
This has only been my experience and I respect the fact that everyone plays differently.

So after looking everything over, it would appear that they listened to people and removed cards from being locked within modes. I get it and it makes sense. But the pack odds now need to change. I saved up a lot of packs for this drop. It netted me 3 mizes’, 5 lane Thomas’, 5 Erik millers’, 4 gausmens and a couple more doubles and singles sprinkled in there. I just feel like this shouldn’t happen on the big packs(ultras mainly)

@Dolenz_PSN thank you, corrected

Offline content wise, I assume 4-5 are in mini seasons, one in conquest with a pack, diamond conquest isn’t listed but I’m sure there will be one that has 2 more in it and 3-4, with a pack or two in the program. So that leaves over a dozen cards to buy to complete the collection. Plus who isn’t shown yet (Adley, etc.) Seems pretty on par.
-
Lane Thomas getting a card is just comical to me

-
I guess I’m the anomaly here. I haven’t had any issues finishing at all. This inning was my lowest total score and I still got thru three wheel spins on offline and 2 spins on multiplayer.
-
Yeah I don’t understand the complaint. It was posted multiple places and even said it would be released after the ceremonies, which it was. It’s not like they are going to releases cards with HoF plaques until after they are inducted.
-
Wheel spins for me have also been delayed. When I get one I get whatever reward it’s going to be in my inventory immediately and then the next time I turn the game back on and go into DD it will automatically do the will spin and displays whatever pack was placed in my inventory previously…which imo proves all wheel spins are predetermined regardless of when you start/stop them.

@b-dub_butter42_PSN I agree that the rewards for tomorrows program will be exactly inline with the one before vmart, with the addition of hrd/msc packs

Tomorrow will most likely just be the basic spotlight Friday. 5 cards that highlight performances and an event program to grind spotlight/Topps now. Assuming there is another week of the July spotlight, I doubt any of the current July spotlight collections will be required for Sunday. Gonna be a slloowww role until the diaster that will be sundays master collection.

Why is it so difficult to fully adjust a roster? A few things to consider for future versions of mlbts. And yes, I am aware that this most likely falls on deaf ears. Note that for me these issues primarily stem from wanting to create an accurate franchise from the start.
Roster Control: only 78 of 93 players are even available to be moved. I can add a 99 legend to my team but I can’t remove the 51 career minor leaguer.
Roster Size: I realize that adding high A and low A teams is a bit much. 93 total roster spots is just difficult for everyone. For example SDS has to remove a ranked single A prospect to add a AAA player that only had his contract purchased to cover someone on the 10 day IL, only to have him sent back down a week later anyway. I think a fair compromise is a total roster size of 99 players. This would allow for top prospects to remain in the game (more so at least) while also providing a little breathing room when choosing to remove players during updates.
Top Prospects: Currently there are over a dozen Top 5 prospects and another 60 or so top 10 prospects not in the game. This is particularly rough once you get a few years into franchise. For the most part realism is what we want here, especially for those of us that dive deep into franchise. Again all the more reason for the extra roster spots.
2026 MLB Draft players: first off I love that they add some of the draft prospects. But starting a franchise with them is brutal for realism. In the 3-4 franchises I’ve tried with these players, by May at least 5-6 are traded in “blockbuster” trades. Please allow us to either import these players during the actual 2026 draft within franchise, via the import function or better yet, custom draft classes in the vault are a long overdue addition considering every sports game has this feature. Now we are in a situation where the live roster feels like a fantasy roster, wasting a great attribute update.
Importing players: This has proven to be the most frustrating for me. I want to import real prospects in the place of the 2026 draftees. But if I don’t add a position for position import then I’m SOL. At this point can we just allow for a player for player, instead of a position for position importing system. Even add a roster message if position requirements get below minimums. It really seems like a simple solution.
Lastly and this is more of a personal request for how I like to play. Why not allow face scans to work with CAPs and franchise. Limiting this to rtts is understandable to a degree. However until GM logic is finely tuned or you are allowed the option to control trades and signings more, I personally won’t go back to rtts. It’s just not fun to play for your dream team, only to have the stars traded away or lost in free agency within a couple seasons played.
I digress, this become way to lengthy

I think it’s being advertised as an amazing flash sale, but I bet there won’t be one person posting about pulling a monster like perdomo or Harper or even that LS ohtani…if I didn’t have 2mil stubs then I certainly wouldn’t have taken a flyer on this lottery ticket

A glitch has cost me over 100,000 stubs. SDS has been aware since early May and done nothing about it.
