I’m with ya man. I play once a week and it’s just pathetic that the only people I come across are professional video gamers. It’s like I’m playing the same person every online ranked.

I just don’t understand why I get matched up with people who play this game more hours than a full time job. I log on once a week and it’s just insane how outmatched I am.

What am I supposed to do when every team is a 99 and any strike is a homerun.

As far as I can tell, the all star has superior stats and more quirks. The live series is maxed on power, but inferior everywhere else, including fielding. Is there any reason to use the live? Even with inside edge the card wouldn’t necessarily be better stat wise.

These suggestions simply do not work. It’s impossible to strike people out consistently even when they have zero discipline. I don’t play non stop, but I play enough, and this is the same thing over and over. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, but the consistent quality is that I don’t throw a single strike the entire game and still I’m giving up way too many hits.

Still waiting for someone to tell me how to beat people who swing at every pitch. I go entire games without throwing a pure strike, and still cannot escape the wild, swing at every pitch, touch everything style of most ranked players. This is hall of fame difficulty

Why even bother. Just so broken and unrealistic.

I go entire games without throwing a strike and still manage to give up 10+ hits over 9 innings. This is inexcusable. If you swing at every single pitch, you should not be rewarded consistently. It’s absurd that if you get the timing down of a repetitive video game, you are excused from actually playing baseball.

I constantly play guys with p5 everything, that swing at every single pitch and not only don’t whiff, they tank the ball. Why is this play style rewarded? This is the whole point of baseball and it just becomes an arcade game, even at HoF ranks.

And still cannot find a way to prevent people from hitting. This game is just rubbish. This is not baseball.

I have stopped playing. You can’t continue on with this game if you actually enjoy baseball. It’s too far gone. Just unfortunate because it was quite fun.

Why must every sports game just flood the platform with 99 everything, juiced out of their mind players? People don’t even need to square up a ball to hit a tank, it’s pointless. It’s just a dice roll. Guys swing at every single pitch with zero discipline, and because the pcis are the size of the strike zone(and more), there’s no penalty for playing like it’s home run derby. Just lame they can’t maintain integrity for us who actually enjoy baseball and don’t just play for digital rewards that are meaningless and against the spirit of the sport.

I played often during the summer, maybe even too much. Took a break for a few months, and now I come back to DD with an antiquated squad. I don’t care about the grind anymore, I just want some fun games. Can’t even get through one without people quitting. Just a bunch of kids now.

I’m a legend player and have made World Series every season so far. This is my first year playing this game. You patrol the boards and comment on every single thing here. And then assume to know something about me because I am claiming that a pitcher is still broken regardless of the patch. What’s wrong with you?
