It’s way better. I only threw a handful of “perfects” the entire game. I wasn’t cheesed to death by contact swing, and if you don’t know how to pitch sequence, you’re gonna get touched up. This is the way it should be.

The non pci hits. The pci square ups that are pop outs. Throwing it three feet out of the zone and guys still connecting. The unrealistic sinkers. First year player, and I gotta say this is arcade trash. It rewards people who just smash buttons and don’t even understand baseball. I’m so sad that it took my three months to realize this game is no better than madden or 2k. Disappointed.

Can we maybe develop a DD mode that isn’t filled with ridiculous CAP pitchers and broken deliveries?

Why even bother. Just so broken and unrealistic.

That’s got nothing to do with how absolutely broken, untouchable this card is. It is a free win in ranked for anyone who knows even basic pitching. The competitive balance is completely out of whack with this disappearing sinker garbage and they need to get back to reality and do something about 102 mph sinkers for 120 pitches in green energy.

Time to retire this game. I loved playing online for a few months, but it’s just the same meta cheese team every time. Cabrera is so unbelievably unrealistic, it just ruins this experience.

I go entire games without throwing a strike and still manage to give up 10+ hits over 9 innings. This is inexcusable. If you swing at every single pitch, you should not be rewarded consistently. It’s absurd that if you get the timing down of a repetitive video game, you are excused from actually playing baseball.

This card should have way less stamina for it to be balanced. Keep the pitching stats? Fine, but there is no chance, NO CHANCE, anyone can serve that heat up for 120 pitches. It’s completely broken and anyone who says otherwise it’s kidding themselves. You have a giga second to respond to a pitch that hops like off speed and has zero trajectory that you can catch up to. Your only choice is to guess. Sinkers don’t move like that in real life and when you’re trying to play competitively, and see pitches and put a good foot forward, stuff like this just ruins the experience. Too unrealistic, too easily exploited for basically a guaranteed dominant performance.

It’s not about winning and losing, it’s about a balanced competitive landscape. This card is hell on earth and it’s a free one that takes zero advanced knowledge to be dominant. A hitter with 125s across the board still doesn’t neutralize the insanity that is 102mph sinkers that move.

If you use Cabrera, you don’t respect the game or other people. He is broken, everyone knows it, and at this point it’s just a [censored] move to use him.

I played often during the summer, maybe even too much. Took a break for a few months, and now I come back to DD with an antiquated squad. I don’t care about the grind anymore, I just want some fun games. Can’t even get through one without people quitting. Just a bunch of kids now.

Why must every sports game just flood the platform with 99 everything, juiced out of their mind players? People don’t even need to square up a ball to hit a tank, it’s pointless. It’s just a dice roll. Guys swing at every single pitch with zero discipline, and because the pcis are the size of the strike zone(and more), there’s no penalty for playing like it’s home run derby. Just lame they can’t maintain integrity for us who actually enjoy baseball and don’t just play for digital rewards that are meaningless and against the spirit of the sport.

I don’t like the high rated cards either. Wish it was a slower pace to get up to 99s, if we ever reached them at all. Fifa has a better model in my opinion, you don’t see 95+ until the very end of the cycle.

Of course. But against competent players who can paint a sinker anywhere with even low control pitchers, it’s unrealistic. The card shouldn’t turn into a god because someone can twirl an analog stick correctly

Impossible to strike anyone out short of legend. They drag us down into HoF and all star even if we’re regulars in World Series. The Pcis from every single player covers 50% of the strike zone. I throw a ball in the dirt and it’s fouled off forever. What do they expect us to do? Vida blue has 125 h/9 and every single player still has a tremendous hit zone. I understand people complain that hitting is hard, but this is a joke, they nerf pinpoint so you have to be dead on perfect to hit spots, and then they release a slew of 98s and 99s that can’t strike out unless it’s mistimed. This is no baseball game.

The game is hard enough with unrealistic pitch movements. Why just perpetuate this by allowing people to make even more unrealistic pitchers? It just blows my mind why they allow this stuff when the game is so solid without it.

I want to have fun too. But the combination of sinkers being impossibly broken and allowing people to create sidewinders with max stats…. I just don’t get it. The biggest streamers are all full grown adults who also think these mechanics are broken. It’s impossible to consistently see this nonsense coming out of the hand. Every single meta pitcher is just a sinker machine and as soon as they realize your picking it up it’s back to the off speed that looks EXACTLY THE SAME. This game has so much going for it and the inclusion of this stuff just makes it insufferable. Combine that with the win at all costs cheese/glitch fest that every basement dweller subscribed to and the game is basically left for the addicts. Shame on SDS for perpetuating this type of behavior with these mechanics.

The bunt dancing, the pausing after every single batter, the friendly quit request after going down a single run. What are we doing here? I turn on Xbox to play a fun game of baseball and everyone else is chasing some imaginary mountaintop where this somehow counts for something. Grow up.

Can you all just stop it? Play the game. Enough with all this garbage. You kill these games with the non stop rubbish.

Anyone like using anyone else? Also, anyone think outlier on every single pitch is kind of dumb?
