Made it to Chafin. Hit 8 consecutive 98 - 102 mph at'em balls. Just a ridiculously abysmal mode that is just an incredible time sink. I'll end up playing EA PGA for a while or something as I don't like Showdowns whatsoever anyway. I'm usually impatient in trying to get them out of the way but actually took my time on this one to avoid HAVING to play something I really don't care to play all over again. Waited out pitches. Dude had no energy. At'em balls the entire round. Frustrating mode to play for the time you invest in it.

My favorite part is how there are 30 teams with 40 man rosters, so in the neighborhood of 1200 players. There were 340 FA on day 1. I've not bought packs, but opened any free ones and I can pull 3 FA out of basically any pack and sometimes get the unanimous 4 FA in a pack. Those are some great odds.

First at bat - 1st inning. Overlay said I was 0 for 5 with a K. Knew it was going to be a special set of moments. SDS does not disappoint.

The 2 doubles with 1 SB moment - I was Bronze 67 when it started. I was Bronze 75 before Carlos Martinez could find the strike zone. (Stage 2 Moment)
In around 30 attempts at above moment, Cardinal outfielders dove and caught around a dozen gap shots. Took about 35 attempts as I somehow hit more HR than doubles.

Appreciate the free stuff. Not a fan in the least of moments where the game plays differently than other modes that drastically for long periods, then all of a sudden, you are able to complete it almost effortlessly.

Was better last year when it started off with 2 cards for 7500, then went to 2 cards for 5000. Now it's 1 card for 7500 so I avoid them altogether.

Disappointment is a habit.

I do this as well. I like to be disappointed all at once, and not in increments.

You can reset the multi-game moments. At the 'main' moment, just press R1 (PS4/PS5) and the option to reset is there.

Yep. Settings. Put it on Quick Play but also go to Presentation and set Pitch Selection Camera to None and Pitch Selection Camera Frequency to Rarely if you want to play quickly and have minimal to no camera angle swaps.

I just IBB the first 3 guys, then stepped off and threw to home and froze the Phillies. They ended up quitting and I got the win. Now I'm only one point away from a SilverLiner.
