No, the shield aspect only has to deal with fielding, but reaction and the other stats are still important. I just don’t think they really have thresholds that determine how good the other attributes are. Just the higher the number the better.

I’ll be honest I’ll give them a pass on that because I’m assuming that stream was from before everything shut down due to covid and they’ve had to adjust and do things a lot differently from what they initially planned.

Mantle is the only answer.

On the flip side, beware of yelich, could see him dropping to 86-87 this update and if his slump continues could seem him going gold in the next one.

Pulled acuna from a BIAH and Sixto from his headliners pack so not amazing but can’t complain either.

Just pulled the elite round from a ducks on the pond pack and picked banks since I already have Chapman. Is banks worth giving a shot at the 6 hole or do I just cash in on him now? Currently have prestige didi at short and love him and his swing and also leaning to J-Rol in the 6tg inning pack.

This sounds more like a personal problem because even though Kluber has become easier to hit because everyone has been seeing him since day 1, he’s still the best SP in the game.

Mantle is easily the best card in the game and probably will be all year. Switch hitter, 100 + to all contacts and power stats. Catches everything in the outfield, great speed. What more could you want.

Today. New reward for making it to pennant race or whatever division it is in RS that let’s you select 1 of 4 lower tier diamonds.

First off, there would be a significant increase in top players playing casual/low tier players. Once they win World Series do they drop back down to the first level or stay in World Series. If they drop down they play easy opponents and destroy them making some not want to play ranked, if they stay in World Series the World Series reward will become almost impossible to obtain as the top would continually play eachother and even elite players would have a hard time going 4-3 against other elite players (especially with how the game currently plays) yes this format would be good for elite players but not for the majority of the community which means less money for SDS, so it would not be a smart business decision.

Yes, ranked needs some working but I think it’s more around points. Maybe having a set point marker for each tier. Say Division series give you 20 pts for a win but 10 pts for a loss playing another division series players. If you play someone in a higher tier you get a bonus in points for the win say 25 pts but a loss is 5. And vice versa for playing a lower ranked opponent, 15 points for a win, 15 points for a loss.

If you are a consistent World Series player and are bored with ranked, you can do a playoff format for the last week of ranked. Basically make the entry requirement making World Series in that season then have a playoff format like you suggested with only World Series players

I like your idea and thought process but just purely on a business sense it’s not a good idea, but may work as a separate game mode

Once you win WS, those players go into their own Legends league with other rewards and games played on legend for other rewards like currently.

Also instead of resetting back to regular season if bounced in a playoff round, only have to restart that series. That way the best players stay at the upper echelon while weaker players still try to battle their way through the lower tiers.

I hope 3 inning games. If event games are gonna be 6 innings I feel like I might as well play ranked and try to grind WS at that point.

Walker or Mo is the pick at 300. A lot of depth at 1st base where you don’t have to worry about have as good of a fielder.

You’ve gotta actually make it to a WS to get that many people in the game.

I pulled Cabrera awhile back out of whatever headliner set he was and had been using him until just recently. Love his swing and power but that speed kills me sometimes. Now a bench bat for me because of belli.

Kinda in the same boat. I was all in for Thames until the latest bosses. Now thinking of taking springer so my outfield will consist of mantle, springer, walker and keep belli at first. I know defense isn’t that important at first base but belli has made some plays there that I know worse defenders won’t make on hard hit balls from lefties.

Yes. To start the game will begin trying to match you with a player who’s rating is between 50 points lower and 50 points higher than your ranked seasons rating. Every few seconds when that bar goes to the right it increases the gap. So the further you let the bar go right, you may end up with a weaker opponent but you may also get a really good opponent as well. I at the least never let the bar get so far as to where I could end up playing someone on all star. As soon as I can ensure I’m playing all my games on HOF I do so.

I’m only a few stars away from 300. Is it still worth it to sell 5th inning bosses? I know the boss prices tend to decline throughout the life of the inning program but with these all being 99s will they continue to decline more? I plan on using the Larry walker in right and moving shef to 3rd. Just trying to figure out if it’s still worth it to sell now and try to buy back later to make a profit ?

I'm not huge on it, but...Told ya so. Once again, don't complete LS collections, there are better cards for a million plus less stubs.

He’s not better than mantle but there is a serious argument he’s better then Shef with that defense tho.
