Ohtani, he was 375k on April 1st and 29 days later his buy now is nearly 510k, only thing that’s holding me back is because I eventually want to complete the Live Series collection. I’m pretty far away from it now, but 510k is INSANE for a 91

It’s still broken, this is the only major sports games where prospects never seem to get better, i’m not necessarily saying that players should grow 10 overall in an offseason, but I mean for prospects with 90+ potential to still be lower 60s 5 years deep into a franchise is ridiculous. It’d be okay if it was just one player, but I feel like progression has never been something that MLB has got right with franchise mode

I swear with every update all we’re getting is 70’s going up or down and having position changes, but nothing other than that, we’re like 30 games in, live series cards should be fluctuating in overall by this point

So I pulled Ohtani a while back, and his price has literally kept going up, I don’t want to sell him necessarily, but 479k is INSANE for a 91 overall

I feel like when you pull an 85 diamond the reaction afterwards should be a booing sound effect rather than the cheering one that plays. Because trust me, pulling Sonny Gray for the 65th time doesn’t make me want to cheer

Update: Reinstalled the game and haven’t had an issue since. Don’t know what the overall problem was, but it seemed to fix it.

This is now my second post about this issue, literally cannot play the CC mini seasons, game freezes after a home run EVERY time. No matter the patch, the game still finds a way to be broken. Multi million dollar company can’t release a game without constant bugs that exist in the games for years.

@GixxerRyder750_PSN Yes. I didn’t touch MS after the first patch didn’t fix it. And only started this season after the new patch.

It is still happening after the latest patch. It just happened to me after hitting a home run in Polo Grounds. Game freezes after hitting one. It caused me to lose the championship series in the first play through of the season and is still happening. It is incredibly frustrating how a multi million dollar company STILL has game breaking glitches in the game in 2025.

Why do I bother spending my time making a logo, or downloading one and making my jerseys just for the game to decide when and when not to load it. It really is such a cosmetic thing but it genuinely does annoy me, and it’s been doing this ever since logos in DD became a thing

The Lee Smith 83 Cubs card is unironically my favorite pitcher in the game

Has anyone else had horrible odds with pulling diamonds this year? I swear i’ve opened well over 200 Show Packs and haven’t gotten any diamond players. Meanwhile my step brother had pulled like 20 this year. I can’t really complain because I had a 3 day span in I think MLB 22 where I pulled Trout 5 times. I’ve pulled Shohei in every game since he’s been a high diamond, so maybe my pack luck is finally catching up to me. But it’s frustrating nonetheless.

Is anyone else freezing in regular DD games? I’m in the playoffs of my mini-seasons, hit a home run, run gets scored and now my players are just standing at the plate and staring at me. This is not the first freeze i’ve had, and it’s really getting annoying having to continuously quit out of games, has anyone else had this issue?

Misses the way that overalls used to work in DD

I feel that DD is the only “Ultimate Team” mode where it made sense for live series cards to be up to 99 overall at launch.

I think a guy like Ohtani not being a 99 at launch is hilarious, and I also believe that diamonds being 85+ ruins the market from a very early point in the games lifecycle.

I miss when overalls went like this;

Diamonds were 93+
Golds were 85-92
Silvers were 75-84
Bronzes were 65-74
Commons were 64 and below

Overalls working like this gave golds and silvers value for the entire year, not just at certain moments when they had high demand, i.e. sets or collections. I wish that the system would switch back but seeing as the lower overalls have been in the game for the last few years tells me it won’t ever come back, interested to see what everyone else has to say.
