It’s still broken, this is the only major sports games where prospects never seem to get better, i’m not necessarily saying that players should grow 10 overall in an offseason, but I mean for prospects with 90+ potential to still be lower 60s 5 years deep into a franchise is ridiculous. It’d be okay if it was just one player, but I feel like progression has never been something that MLB has got right with franchise mode

Agreed .. however:
Players have to be played. Guys that sit in the minors (and a lot of guys on other teams) don't progress very well.
Players on my team turn into Ted Williams in a season. It's really wonky.
