If I had a show pack for every post i've seen that just has a bunch of pitching rotations listed, mostly the same 5-10 guy mix, i'd have about 100 show packs... aka one george springer and a few silvers

I am 28... I enjoy opening packs just about as much as I do playing the game... I am definitely curious to see what they get... can't say its the most entertaining thing to watch however..

The other day I had a guy message me and I decided to send the same exact message back to him, when he would respond, i'd respond with the same thing.. that went like 5 messages deep. he was confused. He was winning going into the bottom of the 3rd. (he said he'd quit if I gave him HR for a couple players). With 2 outs he messages me "Should've taken the easy win". Next pitch two run HR to tie. Then I proceed to win.... I said "should've waited until you got that last out"... he acted like he did it on purpose... either way I enjoy these moments
The fact that all they focus on is police brutality and police reform is a little mind boggling. There has to be accountability on all sides. No doubt about it that those that are put in charge of law and order need to have the very best training and be held to a higher standard, but to Totally ignore the other side of things and paint all Police as bad loses a lot of people. These athletes, and I don't blame them because its not their responsibility to "fix" the seemingly unfixable, will get on a stage and say some words and then go right back to their luxurious lives in their gated communities. While the real world continues to spin. Spending time and effort on police reform, or the craziness of de-funding police, literally does nothing at all to stop crime from happening. They need to spend equally as much time going into these areas where crime is happening most and do what they can to help people out mentally, physically, and financially so that they feel they have options. Lebron needs to use his platform for more than fanning the flame too. He spends a lot of time and money helping people, but then goes and hurts them mentally by acting as if police and white people are hunting black people. Creates a massive mistrust and divide among people, and it is just blatantly not true.

Jacob Blake wasn't unarmed he did have a knife on him and told the police he had one. Also after a taser was he was still stand and walked around to the driver side of his car.
Now I'm not condoning what happened and some of the instances are over the line but some in the past have actually by fighting with police and reached for their gun. I watched a video when ferguson happened of a former inmate who was black and had spent 10 years in prison they asked him his thoughts about everything going on and he said I know I will never have an issue with the police because if they tell me something I'm going to do it when they say it. If your calm and do what they are asking you to do you will have no problem.
I have no problem with protesting because that is the right people have in the USA unlike most other countries where you will be arrested or killed for speaking your mind but there is no reason when ever there is a protest or something happens that people have to start setting cars and buildings on fire and looting. It makes no sense what is setting a building on fire going to do for you. All it does is effect and hurt the owner of that business or property maybe it is a single mother and the car the torch is the only way to get to work to feed her kids. It is uncalled for to steal and damage stuff that isn't your property.

Nice, must be a good feeling to have finished that out. With some real money I was able to get Biggio... wont get mantle and wont try for him. Obviously he is one of the best cards to have but my outfield is stacked already... not to mention I discovered this site and learned a lot about the game and cards that I did not know before.. so I wasted a ton of stubs prior to learning all I have learned... which is why I have like 20 teams at 100% lol wasted so many stubs doing exchanges for TA.... almost always just from doing buy now on cards because I never realized how easy it was to get cards for exchanges at like half the cost of the buy now price by using "buy orders" anyway have fun with the TAs. They are enjoyable to complete and you can either pick up some old players you like or at the very least have a bunch of packs to open when you're done

Prior to discovering this site and really understanding and getting into the game and how the market works I would always just sell cards and buy random stuff at whatever the buy now price was so I never really had a stock pile.. wasted a ton of stubs doing TA exchanges buy just buying cards at the buy now price... not realizing how easy it was to place buy orders and get them for about half as much... oh well.. I have had fun and have a solid team now.. missing out on a couple players I'd like to have still but I can't complain

It's not going to like ruin you or anything but yeah holding and selling later would have been the best move if you don't want Mantle. When you view player cards go over to the market tab and look at the price graph, you'd see that this is the cheapest Trout has been in months. On high-value cards it's always best to check that and also to put in a sell order and not just sell now.
Wow. Haha... I don't care quite enough to be annoyed with myself, but that is funny I've never noticed that and was all excited when I got him and sold him instantly thinking I was making a killing... oh well... I discovered this forum about 2 hours ago now... I've learned quite a lot already

Bad choice his price is going to double once a stub sale is announced. I expect him to get up to 350k at least.
Thanks for confirming that I made a bad choice haha I had literally zero clue how that stuff worked until now.. I was just all excited to be able to get close to 200k stubs and be able to buy up some of the FOTF 99s I didn't want to grind for.
