I've tried everything and nothing seems to work. Been doing zone about a year and still stuck doing the same old [censored]. Try practicing on LEGEND. It's really the only way. The PCI is tiny and you catch up to the speed of the game. Hitting is about timing like in RL. (After this, hitting will slow down in other difficulties.)

Another thing that has helped me a lot: like a hitter in RL, accept the holes in your swing. I can't hit same-side high and tight stuff, so I lay off. Inside on same/same match ups are off limits and I crush everything middle/away.

Lastly, do not, under any circumstance unless it is a meatball to a good hitter, swing at the first pitch. The math is waaayyy in the favor of the pitcher on the first pitch unless you have the "teacup" and , even then, just be patient. Counts factor in heavily to the outcomes in this game.

One guy finally gets it Pitchers confidence determines every outcome🤨

Circle rarely results in a hit and I only use it when trying to not strike out. I rarely use Square cause I'm obviously not good enough at hitting that I can reduce my contact area and good contact area by power swinging. I have been playing baseball games for [censored] near 30 years, I don't need your [censored] opinion, if you care to read a thread you can see that I was venting frustration at my lack of hitting ability. Try to not be an absolute [censored] just because you are online and no one knows you. Be a decent human being, which I know is hard for some people, but just try.

Latest game was, not to be disrespectful, but the worst player I have ever played on HoF. At least 50 very early or very late swings and had absolutely no clue at the plate. Never had so many lineouts, weak contact w good pci, and foul ball homers ever. Can just feel the game taking control. At least it was finally the game that pushed me to delete MLB!

Also, my pitcher wasn't " rattled" in the 3rd inning. I'm guessing my opponent who was flailing at pitches all over the zone must've just been watching youtube videos on how to hit the first two innings and got it down pat for the 3rd.

I hit using pure analog and it seems like no matter what I do, I cannot hit the ball to the pull field. Maybe one out of 20 or 30 of my balls in play go to the pull side. Coming from an OG like myself, ranked is unplayable do to perfect called strikes. I dont want a strikeout fest either. I'm even having my fluke hrs deleted sometimes
