Btw...you can just call it Tiger Stadium. There's no old, no new...just the one and only.

This was adorable...
Had runners on first and second, nobody out. Hit a ball between 1st and 2nd basemen, a low liner that got through. Instead of just holding up until it got by him, the runner on first went back to first and just stood there. I've had that happen a few times with just a runner on first. I smash the L1 button to get him going but by the time he does get going, it's too late. Ball is thrown to second for the force. On this play, however, it was even more precious than that because even the guy who was on second, for some unknowable reason, also retreated to his original base. Right fielder gets it, throws to third for one and then they go to second for two. A 9-5-4 double play!!!

Yes, I have noticed some of these things as well. Pretty unrealistic. I've also had a ton of outs at the plate. I'l had a game the other day where I had the winning run thrown out at the plate in extra innings 3 times in one game? IRL, you might see that happen once or twice in an entire season, but 3 times in one game? Come on now.
I like to play franchise games with player lock but I cant stand the way the manager manages the bullpen and pinch hitting/running. It seems to me that it is not possible to play on player lock while maintaining the ability to manage the game. Does anybody know if there is some secret trick or process for doing so? Thanks in advance.

I do prefer oppo field hitting as well, but not to such a high degree. I'm not mad, just would like it to be more realistic.
I hit using pure analog and it seems like no matter what I do, I cannot hit the ball to the pull field. Maybe one out of 20 or 30 of my balls in play go to the pull side. About 5 out of 20 go to center but the vast majority go to the opposite side. I do admit that even with the fastball pitch speed at 5 and offspeed pitch speeds lower than that, I find it almost impossible to have early swing timing (but I dont like them that low because I almost never strikeout, which is unrealistic). I trust that is probably the most important factor in which field the ball goes to, but is there something else that I should be doing? I'd like this game to play as realistically as possible and having 75% or more of batted balls going to the opposite field is not realistic.
@UPerTrooper said in The old Tiger stadium:
If they would put the old tiger stadium in this game it would put it over the top for me. No kidding . Michigan and Trumbull. Kaline corner. The short porch. Home ribs over the roof. Cmon San Diego studios. For gods sakes. Please
Totally agree with that. Best park ever.
