I mean we've seen the Mets have the MVP runner-up (or did Soto finish 3rd this year, I know Lindor was runner-up year before) not make the All-Star Game

@Easy_Duhz_It_ said in Texas Rangers?:
For the record, Andrew Heaney and Mitch Garver both have TN cards.
and in addition to this, Jonah Heim has an April Monthly Awards card, and I think that Seager reward for "Core" collection is also a Rangers card.

Didn't they remove Tatis last year once he got suspended?
if a player gets put on the suspended list they get removed, if they go on the injured list they don't.

@BeeKazz-26_PSN yeah I personally wouldn't recommend purchasing any of the previous games either... now if you can somehow get your hands on a previous game then go for it just from a curiosity standpoint but doesn't seem worth the time to go back especially with how limited those games are now... enjoy 25 for the next 3-4 weeks ad then shift your attention to 26 if you are going to get it at launch.

I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I typically use this month to play WWE and MLB again prior to the new games coming out next month... I dabble in College Football, Madden and NBA along the way as well but I was away from gaming for like a year and a half... Feb 2024ish to this past summer so I was late the party for last years games... but yeah long story short I'm playing WWE and MLB to try to get a general idea of how I'm going to approach playing this years game... like if I'm going to make content on YT or stream on Twitch or just play the games and not try to venture back into creating content... March 6th, 13th and 17th I already requested off work, so I'm hoping The Show (and WWE) deliver!

I knew this day would come... lol
This happens with almost everything... something gets done one way and people "hate on it", then when something new gets done the old way was "better".
Me personally I loved "Sets & Seasons" because it allowed for you to continue playing with different cards... in the years prior to this it felt like people were almost afraid to go get certain cards once they got the lineup they wanted and those players would complain that there was nothing else worth "grinding" (or "paying") for, at least with Sets & Seasons after a set amount of time you had to build your team again... but let's not pretend like you were forced back to your team looking like the "no money spent" team you start with filled with common and bronzes along with your one silver (or gold) card from your loyalty reward before you start your grind to unlock other cards.
Me personally I'd like an innings model with the ability to still do previous inning programs similar to how it's been the last few years.
The only thing right now that I would change is how the "Reward Path" works... I like what WWE 2K is about to do with their similar feature where you can still do a previous "Reward Path" even after a new "Reward Path" enters the game but you can only have one reward path active at a time.
So if I don't complete "1st Inning Reward Path", I would have the option to continue that "reward path" and then I can move on to "2nd Inning Reward Path" once that's done, or I could move on to the "2nd Inning Reward Path" and then go back to the "1st Inning Reward Path" once I complete it.

@jaychvz_XBL I highly anticipate the day Darryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden get added to the Legends of The Show whether they get added in the same year or different years... those two would actually make me actively put together my All-Time Mets team (at least with who would be available), I do it every year but I do it passively... Straw and Doc in the game would be a gamechanger for me!

they announced a Carlos Beltran and you get a different Carlos Beltran in 26 if I understood correctly

There is a high likelihood that I preorder today, just have to see what my funds are looking like... at latest I was gonna preorder when I get off work, March 12th... but the earlier I can lock in the game the better... my dilemma is that I'm trying to make sure I can get MLB The Show 26 and WWE 2K26, as WWE 2K Early Access is a full week before the game comes out... WWE 2K early access is 3/6 with game releasing 3/13, then MLB early release is 3/13 with game releasing 3/17... so that's like $300... trying to see if I'm preordering both in one swoop or if I need to stagger the preorders because I think the WWE preorder comes with more bonuses the earlier you preorder it.

just preordered both MLB The Show 26 and WWE 2K26... it helps that Digital Deluxe for MLB The Show is $99.99 and got the 10% off that knocked it down to $89.99... every little bit helps... now I need to see if I'm going to get this Elgato or try to salvage the one I have

I remember this card as a Flashback was one of the MUST HAVE cards in the earlier versions of the game! I'm hoping this means that we start off with a Mets Beltran in 26
Shohei not selected for MLB all star game in Franchise mode
Texas Rangers?
