Battle royal is part of DD and last I checked I didn’t get to use my team in that mode.

It is okay to not like something in which case don’t play it. But I think it “belongs” in DD (whatever that means) as it is still fantasy based and every showdown gains exp (play your way) and most have program progress. The extreme showdown literally gives 33% program progress.

This only works after you have the captain.

In future years it would be a nice QoL upgrade to add which year a specific card is from. I know the age is there but without research I don’t know that seavers age 26 season was 1971. Some cards like awards and milestone already have the year. Let’s add it to the details screen for the other ones if missions are going to require knowing that information.

I agree with the fewer maxed out cards. I'd like to see caps placed on the different cards so the 99s are only for players who earned them with sustained greatest. Short-term success should not put a card on the same level of the all-time greats. This is a terrible idea. This was the 2018 game with the immortals.
The problem is every team is then exactly the same, there is no variety amongst any of the player base. The meta will always exist but if there are 100-150 “meta” cards it provides variety. If there are 15 meta cards then everyone has the exact same team.

2021 had an offseason movers program
Wishful thinking they will do something similar this year but they need a bunch more transactions snd free agent signings first.

Common denominator = World Series teams get more flashbacks. Blue Jays 2025, Rangers and Diamondbacks 2023. Explains the volatility for those teams you highlight.

@Dolenz_PSN do you have a similar list with just legends. Bet there are a select few teams that completely dominate that list.

In addition to bringing back these old series I’d love to see a new series of “What Could Have Been”. Players who became stars after leaving their much lessor known teams. Like David Ortiz on the Twins. Or Tatis Jr on the White Sox.

SDS is not going back and resettting the rosters on old mini seasons.

Or a Chris Bassitt relief pitcher card. Anything to improve that bullpen. Your rendition is only bolstered by the fact you are using one tine blue jays like Chavez or Hendricks otherwise it is really bad with only Hoffman and live series options (I think Hoffman may be the best three options!!)

If an at bat is worth 10 PXP.
Rookie affords a x1.0 multiplier so 10 PXP
Veteran is a 1.1x multiplier so 11 PXP
All star is 1.2x Pretty sure Hall of fame is 1.3x and legend is 1.4x.
So that same at bat on hall of fame is worth 13. More PXP on higher difficulties.

One thing I find that has helped me is playing those teams in a practice game. I go back and find an old conquest map and load into a legend game. This gives me a chance to face the pitcher I will face and see a bunch of pitches with the conquest sliders and conquest energy drain.
I know this isn’t for everyone but it has helped me get in the mindset to play these much more difficult games.

We also need the Darrrrryl chant from the bleachers.
