For 2024 all you needed to do was run mini seasons on rookie difficulty a few times to finish it. The program was the least extreme version ever. This year, like most corrections they have tried, sds took a sledge hammer to the program and made it virtually impossible for most casual players in a reasonable time frame instead of making minor tweaks to find a happy medium of challenging but doable.

It also doesn’t help that there were 11 new diamond live series yesterday. There certainly were not 11 diamonds that dropped to gold. So more low value diamonds to dilute the pool.

Report the bug to SDS. Hopefully if enough people file bug reports they will fix the issue.

This is not the message at all. Instead the message is I’m playing just as much as I did in the first inning where I got to 1 wheel spin and this inning I’m no where close to the boss packs because there are far fewer sources of xp. No team affinity xp. No multiple conquest maps like at startup with xp. Only 1 mini season with xp not 2 like at startup. Far fewer xp gates in the multi player program.

If SDS is going to nerf xp from playing the game they need to make up for it with large gates in the various programs.

What’s funny is that double xp still doesn’t even equal what normal xp used to be. I just played a game in mlb 23 and it was night and day on the amount of xp, perfect perfect hits, higher exit velocities, cpu throwing hittable pitches and just generally much more rewarding gameplay.

People that weren’t playing 2 years ago have no idea how it used to be. If you haven’t done it yourself I’d recommend any player go back and just play 1 game then come back to 25. It will confirm all we’ve been saying and thinking and then some.

Biggest agree in your statement is : “CPU throwing hittable pitches”

The CPU pitching dots and balls is so annoying. Sometimes I just want to take out frustrations and smash the cpu 35-0 but instead I’m forced to work the count and take a few walks. On rookie difficulty no less.

But you got 19k stubs returned for locking everyone in. Definitely the way to go with the live series is complete it as soon as you can.

Repeatsble 2000 PXP mission gives a $5k card. Takes about 2 games with double PXP to get the 2k so 6 games should get you the same 15k value PLUS the progression the other repeatable packs. New mini season I think is the better option for expected stubs per game.

There were no deluxe versions of those packs do they will not be in the deluxe choice pack. Similar to home run derby they will only be in the ultra.
Just remember you will only get 1 choice pack in the ultra vs 5 cards from the packs that included in the deluxe option.

Toronto manager set the precedent for that in game 5. Shouldn’t even have got to game 7 if Hoffman comes in for game 5 8th inning.

Oh maybe you can’t on the first turn, not sure about that, but you can later on.

The issue is no margin for error on turn 1. You cannot just continue as @sbchamps17_NSW mentioned.

Only based on playoff performance. So any non playoff team players will not update.

Vouchers had to be submitted during wild card round so by picking la you got both teams playing in that wild card series.
