And should I sell them or keep them? They're both 360k right now...

Or you could just play, see if you do any better and if you dont you will naturally drop back to HOF. Tanking is never the answer
In general I agree but the game is supposed to be fun. 1-0 and 2-1 games with 5 total hits is not fun.
So if you don't find enjoyment in one manner you either do what you have to do enjoy it again or basically stop playing once you reach X difficulty because no one wants to do things in our free time that aren't fun
exactly. Is not fun at all for me. striking out 15 times a game while pressing contact swing is not even a little bit fun.
-
This game is penalizing my enjoyment of it by making me play Legend. That difficulty is ridiculous.
2-1 every game. Just lost a 2-1 game while I held a 1100 player to TWO HITS the whole game. Hall of Fame is fun, but Legend ain't it. Hate to mess up my online record, but I don't think I have an alternative if I want to keep playing this game.

Ernie Banks is one of my favorite players and every year I'm trash with him. Such a bummer.
That dude has the worst swing ever for me but yet kills me

I been saying that since day 2. I was told there were several TA2s better than him. I just chalk it up that we all have different preferences.
People are catching on for sure and I bet this post probably helps them do that even though it says you hope they don’t catch on.
Yeah, I do understand the irony of my post. But as people face him, they'll realize regardless. 102 Sinker with great control? [censored] is ridiculous
-
Hope a lot of people don't catch up on it....
Just dismantled this World Series player in Legend with him. He Quit in the 5th inning.

Like is there currently any incentive to get them all?

I don't know, the gameplay is ok, but I feel like something is missing. Maybe because I don't think is an accurate representation of baseball. Having to worry about your pitcher having a sinker/cutter is weak. Not to mention that it gets tiring hitting sinkers and cutters. The way those pitches move is silly and defy the laws of physics.
Contact hitters once again being useless. You're better off always having players with 80+ power. Anything less and is a fly out machine. Playing 80% of the away games at Shippet stadium for three years straight is frankly tiring. Same old animations and graphics as the last few years. Definitely doesn't feel like a next gen game. They still haven't be able to fix bunting... Joey Gallo and David Ortiz shouldn't be bunting for a hit opposite of the shift without an issue... that is straight up silly.
Any pitch that isn't a Sinker, Cutter, Slider, has to be used as a surprised pitch. Good luck throwing a 2 seamer or a Curve in this game. Elite power pitchers like Gerrit Cole are still right down useless.
Hitters shouldn't be fouling off pitches 10 inches off the plate because the player pressed contact swing with two strikes. Incredibly silly.
Pitcher's motion are still stiff as hell... pitchers new all their animations wipe out and replaced with today's technology to the arm looks smooth when they bend it.
Maybe I can't longer ignore the gameplay issues. These days I'm still I'm having more fun grinding or trying to get a card than actually playing. Back in The Show 16, I could make World Series with a bunch of platoon gold players because Diamonds were hard to come by. Now in the first week, live players are already useless... they're literally there as a tool to do collections now. Back then, having Lindor or Gerrit Cole would have meant something. Topps card should be Gold and Silver. Diamonds should be extremely rare or a very hard grind. This would encourage people to have different teams, instead of the same Diamond Players.
Seriously considering uninstalling and I got this one free with gamepass.

Wondering whether to continue my pursue of Soriano or wait for the lighting May player and start collection May players instead

Especially with create-a-stadium in the game now.. just take an intern, tell him to make something and replace Shippett with it. Done. Suddenly we have a variety of ballparks to play in.
That's a good idea. Shippet isn't really a real park, so remove the thing.
-
Just brainless. There's nothing more infuriating than playing 80% of my games in the cheap park. What a joke, not only is it always the same stupid venue with so many ballparks available, but the stadium is completely broken and every game is a offense fest.
Stadiums should be random, that way no one can be using them to their advantage. Or at least get rid of the glitchy ones.

Outisde a Cutter, Change up, and Sinker.
My pitcher CAP has a Sinker, Change up, Cutter, Screwball, but can't decide on a 5th pitch to get lefties out. Slurve wasn't working.
-
Any hidden gems?

@sportpimpin_xbl said in concentrating in hitting sinkers and cutters in this game is exhausting:
Was crushing high an in sinkers last night with a mostly lefty lineup but I still hate em
seriously considering making my lineup all lefties
-
Can they finally fix those pitches? if you throw a sinker up, it should be as flat as a fastball. Cutter shouldn't act like circle change ups that we're constantly early on. The curve is still useless and the slider is mediocre now. 2 seamer is a garbage pitch in this game.
So pathetic that a pitcher needs a sinker and cutter to be effective in this game.
The worst part is that they're aware of this and give pitchers pitches they don't even have to make them viable online.

Really? SDS. You guys re-make of bunch stances for mediocre players that no one will use, but yet a legend like Don Mattingly is stuck with a crappy PS2 generic stance? not kidding, his stance has been there since the PS2 days.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usRc2iAg8gI
how cool would he look if he had this swing and stance.
For the love of God, please update his stance.

is it only the control type?

Is there any benefit this time in collecting all 2nd team affinity?
The more I play Diamond Dynasty, the less fun it gets.
So right now who are the leading May players?
Are you guys ready for that OP Kluber Topps card next week?
