Struggling with certain guys

Anyone just had with there favorite player?? The fact that I got a 90 Donaldson so early ... I was stoked. But good lord I think he’s 1-70 online for me and I’ve sold and bought back like 3 times.. trying to make it work , now there’s so many better options as well. Tips?

I think that's entirely normal. Some swings won't work for you, irregardless of their cards. Try different guys, there's so many options!

I can’t hit anything with Gallo online. Offline he’s pretty good for me because it’s usually lower difficulty.

Yeah as much as I would love to use Hank Aaron, cant hit with him for anything so I don't use him.

you’re on the money with this one. last year I got that 99 papi as soon as I could but once I got him I couldn’t hit for [censored] online. Eventually bought him back later in the year and hit a little better but still not enough to stick with him

I'm sad that I struggle so much with Clemente. As a Puerto Rican there was no card I was looking forward to more. Unfortunately I simply can't get going with him... Hank Aaron is a close second.

Ernie Banks is one of my favorite players and every year I'm trash with him. Such a bummer.

Done guys swings just aren’t good and some guys swings don’t mesh with our eyes. Also you don’t have to guess what he’s hitting online you can go onto the card and see it.

This why I am glad I waited on Rivera set. At least if I hate Baines he cost half as much to collect dust lol. I like Baines on rookie vs the cpu tho hahahahaha.

For me, it’s Soriano. From an attributes standpoint he is great, but I can’t hit with him to save my life.

Gallo is one of those guys that everyone seems to do well with but I just cannot hit with him. Was using his 42 card at 3rd for a while and he was just a huge liability offensively. Eventually benched him for FS Riley and then moved McMahon back there after I got Banks and moved Trea Turner to 2B.

I wish I hit better with Sheffield and Gallo, I seem to swing better with shorter quicker strokes like Alomar or Mondesi

This year for me Ernie Banks, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays all just feel like they are going to be almost auto outs for me - just cant get the hang of their swing
On the other side of the coin I know some people dont like Groshan's swing - but ive had a bunch of success both offline and online with him

I don't use Gallo on my main squad or anything so it's not an issue really but he is probably THE worst hitter I have used in this game. Idk how people mash with him. Only time I use him at all is when trying to knock out AL West innings for TA.
