I’m begging you SDS please, please, PLEASE GET RID OF HOT AND COLD STREAKS!

They absolutely ruin the experience when I have spent hours getting the difficulty setting and sliders set to a perfect point and then I have one game where I get a few strikeouts and they slap that cold streak on me and I can’t hit anything for the next 12 games.

Or you get the hot streak and the game becomes too easy and then you’re messing about with sliders again trying to counter it.

It’s an absolute joke and is totally unnecessary.

I don’t have an issue with the little symbol being next to your name when you’re doing well or bad but for the love of God, stop making it have an effect on your ability to hit.

If it’s going to affect stats then you should be boosting me when I struggle and making it more of a challenge when it gets too easy NOT the other way around.

In the second season of my RTTS career and I’ve just reached the WS but every time I go to play game 1 I get stuck in a loop on the perk unlocked screen where it just keeps saying I’ve unlocked the same perk over and over again and I can’t advance.

I have tried quitting the game and restarting again and it doesn’t make a difference.

The annoying thing is I don’t even use the perk system in RTTS and it’s stopping me from advancing.

Has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it? If it’s broken and I have to start a new career I’m honestly never playing MLBTS again, it’s taken me so long to get to a WS…

I got drafted first round by the Dbacks and made 4 WS in 6 seasons and won 3 of them back to back.

I’ve now reached FA and signed with the A’s.

Swing timing on this game honestly makes zero sense.

Always late or early even though I can physically see with my own two eyes that I swung on time and lined up the PCI perfectly.

And yet every AB the game palms me off with some lame excuse about poor timing or weak contact.

It’s absolute BS and I’m convinced that this game scripts ABs. You only get hits when the game allows you to get hits when it doesn’t want you to have success, skill and practice have no relevance because it’s gonna give whatever pitcher you’re facing god like ability to ensure you can’t get a hit.

Also the amount of times where I line everything up spot on and the game check swings me for no reason is further proof of controlled outcomes imo.

Absolute joke, what a trash game.

I’ve tried to up the difficulty as my career progresses to keep a level of realism, I haven’t broken any records but I’ve done pretty well!

12 seasons sounds horrific! Was that some kind of glitch? And why did you stick with it that long?! I would’ve quit after 2 or 3!
