I love how everyone says he plays in a little league stadium , like he is hitting wall scrapers.The guy hits monster shots that would be hr’s anywhere and also plays half his games on the road.

Rest in peace to the great Fernando Valenzuala, still my favourite pitcher to use in this game, has given me just under 40 on line wins to date this year and fits to many of my opponents.

I wish they each had their own individual card art though.

The lockout in the words of Manfred “is to prevent what happened with the strike in ‘94, we owe the fans better than that”

Especially to those of us who were Expos fans, that strike was devastating.

I think your bench players will be used more for match ups now, say your opponent starts Randy Johnson and you have alot of lefty hitters in your line up you can sub some of them out for righties and not worry about saving them to pinch hit for your pitchers later on.

They do this every year for certain events, it’s nothing new, the next event will be back to normal pitch counts, but you will likely see this again in another event down the road.

Anyone else not able to install the update,i’m able to download it but says can’t install.

The switch hitter automatically gets the advantage with the match up, i just pitched with him.

Thanks, yeah full props to my opponent for not quitting or attempting bunt cheese to break it up, he had PCA also in his lineup, so he could have had a decent chance to break it up by bunting.

People really gotta get over this quick pitching thing. The game gives you more than enough time to be prepared for a pitch, but it's also solid strategy to mix it up and helps move the game along.

I’ve been playing DD for 4 years and put a lot of hours in online, never have i ever encountered someone that i considered pitching too quickly to give me enough time to be ready, only guys I consider to be taking too much time between pitches.

From my experience from playing them occasionally is that they all can turn on any fastball , mediocre players usually struggle with high velocity.

I just threw a 10 inning perfect game with John Donaldson, was not easy cause i couldn’t hit a lick in that game, i only had 3 hits and what made it harder was my opponent scaled the wall in the 9 th to rob a hr from me, i got lucky in 10 th when he decided to throw to 3 rd after my second out with my runner already standing on base which resulted in an error and a lucky run for me.

I played an event game and the switch hitter got the advantage, but when i played ranked the pitcher got the advantage, no clue why, hopefully they will shed some light on the parameters.

I hear you. But I think it's a bit different. The OP didn't do this (just said the game sucks) , but when we come on these forums and have specific complaints, it's not that we hate the game, it's that we like its potential. And we think we can solve the game's issues.

Also, for baseball lovers, it's the only game in town. So if we want to play an MLB licensed video game, this is our one and only option.

I agree, it’s ok to have complaints, but saying something sucks with not even explaining what you don’t like about it accomplishes zero, i believe most people that go that route are usually just frustrated with an outcome of a game they had and our venting, if he really wants improvement in the game, he should pinpoint what he doesn’t like about it, and if it truly sucks like he says, then he should move on , this game aint for him.

When using players with wind ups like this , your almost better off putting a man on just for your sanity.

I'm also pretty sure that unless the account that purchases the game is on BOTH consoles as Primary, the other console won't be able to play it.

On the ps4 you had to make the buyer the primary account on the secondary console to play it, but on ps5 you both just need to enable game sharing

You will only get the game, so technically you shouldn’t pay an even split with your buddy.

High heat inside, breaking pitch low outside corner, change up low outside corner, repeat, cpu does not pick up patterns. But cpu hitting is pretty awful, so im pretty sure any pattern is a feasible option.

Probably not, but one thing for sure is that Pujols will never hit 62. But respect to them both.
