I haven’t received it but I was working while the servers were down so I didn’t actually miss out.
They were down for like two days haha

Oh good, a new Cardinal going for 50k. Let me add him behind Chase Simmons and Chase Berkman.
Thats only 500k I need to find
I think the stub store offers a discount in bulk. Probably only need to spend $400 haha.
I’m talking about the computer App users that were shown being able to automatically hit perfect perfect bombs at will.
Do they just score infinite runs? Do they friendly once they realize they both are cheating?
It was actually better when you could use your CAP
It’s pretty cringey watching his IRL baseball videos with high school and college kids where he acts professional knowing how he talks/acts in his SHOW videos. Zero integrity.
This is great news. Honestly made my day. Rare win for SDS to teach people a lesson. I'm genuinely curious what the action will be but I'm hoping it's a ban or a full account wipe. For the streamers who made videos showing people and advocating for the glitch they should be perma banned because if not for them it wouldn't have been nearly as abundant.
I got perma banned two years ago for saying people cheat on these forums. They banned me for 999 days and I could not access anything in the actual game based on what I said in the forum.
Hopefully they take that level of action against these people.
So I just saw on Twitter- someone posted that they are banned from marketplace. They posted a screenshot and all
Stated they can only quick sell cards but can not put in buy or sell orders
That’s amazing
Yessss, I get to watch YFK and all these other dorks cry when they get banned haha.
In response to my own post, I can see why they toned down Velo and added more movement. Not really cool to let the dude with the best monitor win.
It’s funny how SDS just relies on broken mechanics to create cards people want. Idiotic sinkers and cutters.
They can’t even make legitimate great pitchers like Nolan Ryan useable.
I do remember back in line 2016 before the cutter/sinker [censored] when SDS had the pitch velo cranked up Vida Blue, Nolan Ryan and Feller were actually good.
The double problem is caused by all these android diamond outfielders - doesnt really happen when playing with "normal players". Its one of many ways this game goes wonky when every player is a juiced diamond
The catcher problem...I just dont understand. Stealing is so so free, and it makes no sense.
That is a good point. They probably make the game around realistic ratings in mind.
Like I said before, I don’t hate the running game being a factor, but give me a legitimate counter if I want to sacrifice hitting.
@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL Before the season started. Have you not seen the new pop time rating? Sure, you can still steal most of the time, but you can easily max Pudge’s ability to throw runners out.
Well yeah, I’ve seen the rating, but I thought/hoped a quirk would unlock some new animations or something to help control the running game.
@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL There is no pop time quirk anymore. It’s just the pop time stat. Go parallel him and use a defense mod. You can get him to 99 arm and pop time. A diamond power/fielding mod gives you max arm strength, accuracy and pop time.
Out of curiosity, where did they say there is not a quirk this year? I use Realmuto maxed out with fielding mod and the [censored] still does not work.
Don’t act like people can’t steal at will on any catcher, even with maxed out stats.
Glad to hear this garbage won’t have a counter all year!!!! Awesome.
Pudge, was an elite of the elite defensive catcher. Still with the 96 overall pudge they give him high pop time and arm stats, but no quirks?
I don’t understand not allowing a counter to all the 99 speed 99 steal guys???
I’d gladly use a catcher that had 10 power if he had a pop time quirk and could throw out half of the baserunners. Can’t stand giving up free bases.
I have an Xbox clip of winning the degrom challenge and it saying failed when it cut back to the menu haha. From yesterday, probably still some server issues.
The worst part about ultimate team modes is the gaming companies made the standard roster online mode a joke to funnel people over to ultimate team to spend money.
Ranked Madden and MLB with live rosters used to be insanely fun 10-15 years ago.
This is gonna be a long post, but I've been writing these down for a while lol My main goal with these is to make the game feel closer to how it feels following the baseball calendar (at least for me) and that would make it feel more engaging and dynamic. This is just for franchise.
General - focused on realism
- Player tattoos (Fifa has this) and more realistic jewelry (chains hanging out of jersey - so many players have these and basically nonexistent in the game) - player personality/style is huge part of baseball
- Better faces of non face-scanned players - they are better this year, but still pretty bad
- WBC added as a playable off-season tournament where you can play as one of the teams and select roster (players can decline)
- Catching rating for how well they call games for pitchers
- Pitching mixes need to up to date
- Ability for players to develop quirks based on performance, especially players with less than 3 years of MLB experience
- I know this is unlikely, but I want the player fights and bench clearing brawls
Storylines/News
- It seems like they have tried to make an effort towards this which I appreciate, but I think it could be a lot better and more impactful to how you manage. News should be based off common news in real life like historic years, award races (in game commentary too), player happiness, locker room troubles, breakout players, underlying metrics, pressure from fans, contract unhappiness, etc. It doesn't have to be so frequent that it's annoying but a large storyline for each season (pressure on Breslow for example) could make each season feel interesting and provide unique challenges
- Get news from player interviews, sports journalist reports/social media posts, etc.
- Could even have random events that boost or hurt players like having a child or a family member dying. I know this sounds random, but these things do happen and can make some moments more meaningful (Castellenos poorly timed homeruns)
- Stories about teammate bonds. Certain players get a boost from playing with each other (similar to Fifa)
- Pitcher catcher bonds - pitcher gets a boost when pitching to a certain catcher
Trades
- Could be cool to change the trade system to an interface referencing Moneyball (movie) where you're calling another GM (similar to fifa) and are trying to make trades in real-time with another GM. That way you can get real-time feedback and don't have to wait. There needs to be some way to gauge player value like suggest a trade or the liklihood bar
- I actually don't mind the add of the untouchable, but I do think there are far too many untouchables allowed per team
Game Feel
- Crowds need to be more realistic
- Homerun and win celebrations need to have more animations so they feel unique and special
- Emphasizing high importance moments is good. I like the bear down pitching alot
- More animations for players doing random things like joking around, throwing baseballs to fans, signing autographs, etc.
- Way more realistic grass and weather
Player Growth
- Ability to make player tweaks (launch angle, stance, pitcher extension, pitch mix, etc.) - these don’t have to actually change the animations, but could be a cool way to manage players who are struggling or even unlock potential for certain players if done right. The current system feels too linear whereas in real-life it feels like there can be critical things players work on that unlock different parts of their game. I like the ability to make unique pitches like you mentioned
- Player coaches like hitting, pitching, and farm coaches could be incorporated into this. Better coaches give better advice and get better results. Makes the hiring of those coaches more important too.
Pre-game and in-game scouting
- Pre-game: Reports on opposing hitter and pitcher tendencies
- In-game: Live info on what pitches are being thrown, tips on what pitches look good and which don’t, pitches to look for, intel on when to steal, etc. - players are passing around iPads now during games. We see it, so I think this should be reflected in the game
- Get more or less info depending how good 1st and 3rd base coaches are
Winter Meetings
- Have to give plans and goals to fans and owner
- Goal results affect job security
Financials
- I don’t really know how to go about this, but there should be a way to allocate money towards developing different aspects of the franchise like player development, fan satisfaction, owner satisfaction, team culture/facilities, etc. - this idea is coming from how the Dodgers/Brewers/Rays have been able to create huge advantages by investing in player development
- Choosing not to allocate resources to fan satisfaction or owner satisfaction will have negative affects on job security
Momentum
- Momentum tracker that fluidly reacts to moments throughout the season like winning streaks, walk-offs, multiple great performances
- Higher the momentum, higher the boosts for players
Can’t be too easy to get momentum but should be a fun challenge to get and time for playoffs- Would make the big moments feel like they are impacting the fabric of the season
- Should not be overly complicated and it seems like the game already does this in an unsaid way, but would be cool to make it more explicit and visceral
Props to you. You care about this game way more than the creators do.
95 percent of the players will be done in three weeks when NCAA comes out haha.
@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL I’m not gambling on a video game. Especially when I’m on the switch which already puts me at a disadvantage.
I’ll give u 500 if you beat me
