I get so tired of hearing that on here. This is not baseball, it is a video game about baseball. The best video game baseball players should be hitting .400 or higher. Of course there needs to be some pci changes so that the player cards are different. This is hardly a sim, a sim is a game like OOTP.
These are the types of posts that make them jack up the difficulty and pretty soon you have a bunch of moments that feel more like work.
I would like to see you have to go through a five man rotation or an increase to energy depletion. Get rid of the starters out of the bullpen also. It is supposed to be about building a team with depth. Right now relievers are all but worthless.
That looks like it was affected by pitcher confidence. The pitch was 97 mph and the exit velocity was probably less than that. Pitcher confidence should not affect exit velocity in my opinion. The pci size should be reduced instead.
I use it to see pitcher confidence and energy, as well as where I was pitched previous at bat. I have a MUCH bigger problem with all the pauses during games for much longer durations. I wish they would lower the pause time to 1 minute for the whole game.
Depending on your tv, it is a massive difference going to monitor. Don’t let anyone tell ya different.
It doesn’t even feel like I am playing, just pressing buttons and I am along for the ride. Feels more like an RPG than a sport sim.
Pause? No way, not a chance. The pausing in this game is the worst. I might run into an R2 abuser once every 100 games but pause menu abusers I run into every few games. The clock needs to be reduced drastically.

You're slightly off center, therefore=good/okay. The game has issues but if that was a good/okay then thats what it should've been, you weren't perfect with the placement. Perfect means perfect, not pretty close.
That is nonsense. What is your explanation for the early/ok homeruns where the ball is out of the pci?
Amazing how quickly the exploits that skim off their bottom line are fixed, and with such precision. If the 2xTA pts were like the banner, we would be getting 3xTA pts now.
Feels the same way for me, it felt so great the first few days and the patch ruined it. I threw two no hitters today also as it seemed like my opponents felt the same way. They just could not hit anything hard. 20 innings in a row without giving up a hit, garbage.
Pitcher confidence plagues this game. Until pitching is completely revamped, this is the way it is going to be.
While I somewhat agree with what you are saying and it may be the case, I am still seeing poor feedback (good/okay) for diamonds on balls in the center of the pci. Results just are not making any sense, where they were during the first week.

Agreed, this game is unplayable without the ability to check, just get rid of the cutscene.

Something to consider. With everyone home due to coronavirus we are using more broadband. Plus hospitals are being used more and they pull broadband. So much so that Netflix has taken measures to reduce quality to open more broadband and speed up the internet.
Point is the game may not being playing great on the online for reasons beyond the developer. I for one have disconnected more this week than ever.

I listen quite well. Read my original post again and actually comprehend what I am saying. Without “buying” a team. I am pretty confident I stay in spring training. Float around 200 to 300 rating. With a bought team I hit 500. 500 is above what I consider my skill level.
People are so quick to see their confirmation bias that they don’t truly digest what they are reading. I made an observation is all. That for me in my circumstances, I am paying to win. 500 rating is nothing to most people. To me I am content.
