Thanks for creating this section. Since TSN is part of The Show sites, seems like this is a good spot for this topic.

As I'm sure you are aware, there was a massive amount of bans handed out to TSN members as a result of an erroneous tweet by the SDS Social Media team.

Linking to the tweet, or even having a chuckle over it, resulted in integral members of the community to get banned. These bans have an infinite clock on them, went completely unacknowledged, have yet to generate a response via appropriate email channels etc.

Now as adults in the age of the internet, it's kinda important to have some humility. I think that enough time has passed that SDS and the TSN community can "move on" and get back to normal.

Literally members that have been overwhelming positive of the product and either come here daily to interact with each other about the game, or make each other laugh, have been censored.

We can't help new forum members with Mini seasons. We can't talk about cards. We can't interact about joining custom leagues. We can't search users for game history. I could keep going, but I think you get the point.

There are members of this community that are toxic and confrontational. We get it. I think though that whoever was swinging the ban stick from June 6th until the 16th, went completely overboard.

As loyal multiple year customers that have created an online presence within TSN per the rules of TSN, those bans hardly fell within what most online communities would consider "toxic".

Thank you for the consideration. At the very least, answer an email and give people expectations.

From a high level perspective, this game is great and does an excellent job of recreating a baseball game. Most complaints come from those that are perfectionists, or "power gamers" and go through life seeing bad before good.

Probably more likely since cheating devices help you pitch and not hit. At least that's what this inetrweb thingy has been saying.

Biggest reason why I dislike the fake series cards.

Most, if not all of this will be "offline" meaning playing against the CPU and moments.

There will be a conquest, moments, and missions like "beat the Mariners on HOF/Legend"..

Probably one boss for each segment and an end game reward/collection.

As others have suggested, get some practice in now and don't let yourself get too frustrated. It's meant to be hard and it's guaranteed that you will fail during the process. Treat it as a game and not a job though. You'll be fine.

I don't get why they limit it at 20.

You should be able to do more with a higher reputation, but that would also require your account to not be forum banned.

I'm genuinely curious as to what the logic behind the like limit is. If there were a handful of people abusing the like button, handle the individual. Pull them aside and give them a warning.

You can blow through 20 likes in 2-3 good discussions a day. Makes no sense.

Really just looks like they don't want people here.

It's a server maintenance designed to dump all of the unanswered customer service inquiries requesting explanations for TSN forum bans.

PSN account is still banned. My household has 3 Digital deluxe editions. 2 of which were banned from the same original thread and subsequent fallout. I'll ghost TSN before migrating anything to a Show Account just for these boards. Don't want to risk anything happening to the game accounts.

Well while we have your attention, this is a MLB the Show site. The community is having an issue accessing it. Improvements would constitute a reply to the various means and channels we have gone through to get the attention of whoever went Thanos on here. Banning people from TSN is affecting the ability to access other services of our MLB the Show accounts that are only available here online.

We politely ask that you bring this issue to somebody's attention.

So we're closing in on 80+ days since the man shot. Sprinkled in there, I personally have sent multiple emails and customer service tickets that are ignored and unanswered.

@Pat_SDS_PSN and @Victor_SDS_PSN , this is taking disrespect to the next level.

I'd think that after years of a solid relationship with SDS on these boards and working though bugs via email, I could at least get a reply.

Not joking here when I say that people have airlines find lost luggage from Europe faster...

If I could log in to my other accounts, I could have up to 60 votes. Pretty soon, I'll be doing mail in ballots, absentee and service members living abroad.

How about this. I'll finish the extreme program and you folks at SDS can just unban us all and we can all move on.

Yep. I couldn't agree more.

I know some people from my household that are still forum banned. No explanation. Customer service tickets unanswered. Zero acknowledgement. Yet some people can still post everyday with no consequences or positive contribution to the community.

Oh well.

BTW- My dad says hello to everyone. I'll be sending some folks some DM's before something else happens.

According to their faqs section

“ Will my account get banned for flipping cards on the marketplace?

No. Flipping cards in the Community Marketplace will not put your account at risk for suspension.”

Neither will spreading joy, humor and/or being helpful on TSN get you banned from the forums.

My statement was that your quote isn't valid. It's sarcasm.

Some people have been banned for "normal" market flipping. Unfairly and they have been fixed in a small number of cases. If your legit transaction was embedded in a flurry of transactions by a bad actor, you were likely banned as well.

Some people post on TSN adding no value to conversations. They run Scott free. People did get banned for liking a post or just being anywhere near a thread. See Ross and Rachel.

If you go to the main page of this website and click faqs, the very last question asked is can I get banned for market whatever it is and that was my reply saying no, read it ma man

I doesn't matter what it says. I'm telling you what has already happened to people this game cycle.

Just a heads up.

If you have legit transactions embedded in with those of bad actors, you risk being banned. How does this happen? When you have multiple orders linked with the bad actors. How does that happen? Having 500 orders in for Joe Random, and the bad actor uses Joe Random for stub transfers.

Let's also be frank. SDS hasn't done a great job matching words with actions. Trusting their outdated words on this site isn't a super strong argument. Most investors won't have issues. Until it's you.

Oh NVM. Thought we had an update. I saw Kerry Wood twice and figured they were too busy figuring out how to handle the community request for a return to normalcy.

Your login information is the same as your MLB the Show login information. Shouldn't be that difficult to retrieve or reset in my opinion. Worth a reset to me at least.
