I just got destroyed 13-4 in a ranked game lol. But, you know what? I had a great time playing. The game play was smooth and got to play at my created stadium. I didn't even think about quitting since we could finally hop on and get a game in. The servers actually cooperated lol...
My opponent just was way better, but I had lots of fun playing. His pitcher, Eovaldi, had 3 hits including a grand slam lol! Oh well, tip my hat.
Cheers to all the gamers and best wishes playing!

Good/okay seems to still be the main result even when the ball is completely inside the PCI. Also, freezing in online play is an issue post patch

I did it! No money spent with lots and lots of flipping! Finished the live series series collections tonight. It is my goal each year and this is the earliest I’ve ever completed it! Woohoo! Best wishes to all who are striving for this! You can get it done!

anyone that throws gas lol...i'm almost 50 and can't react like I used to...still just love to play tho!

When you buy and sell players on the market what overall do you guys normally look for? I have been doing 75 and below and make a decent amount of stubs but was wondering if there is a faster way to make stubs.
I've been flipping for a 3-4 years now. Definitely more challenging now than the previous years as more people know about it, and know how to do it being pretty successful.
I like to look for enough of a margin to guarantee profit making it worth your time/effort to do. If silvers are working for you keep doing it...experiment with different things and see which ones sell better and give you profit...it's a game within itself in a way!
Enjoy and happy flipping!

I did the Astros first since that's my team. I wanted the 92 Nolan Ryan...unfortunately, he has gotten ROCKED in online play...then I got lucky and pulled Yelich so I completed the Brewers. The Plesac reliever reward card is good for me. I also got lucky and pulled Arrenado so I completed the Rockies...I'm trying to complete the NL West b/c one of my favorite players growing up was Tony Gwynn. It will probably be awhile to complete the Dodgers, but that's my long term goal. Hope my comments help you out and best wishes!

Same here. I’ve never been a great player, never made WS in the past, but many of my games have been 1-0 with both me and opponent only having 2-3 hits each. Lots of strikeouts. And lots of good ok results.
Been really depressing to play online

I've been playing MLB the show for several years now. I've never made World Series and don't think I will again this year. My average has fallen to just above the mendoza line. I love the content, and love playing all the different modes. I watch all the top guys' videos on YouTube and try their techniques, but I still just SUCK!! lol
I did manage to beat March to October and win the world series which was cool.
Anyways, for those of you that suck like me what are your favorite game modes to play? Or, do you just keep plugging away online and hope to get better?
Thanks all and cheers!

I don't know what the rights are etc, but it would be cool to have a Negro League player such as Josh Gibson
-
I really like George Brett. I've always liked his swing each year with his card. Just got Bagwell being a big Astros fan and will be trying him out today.

Me! I’m retired and play daily. I do all of the offline missions and try to play online, but my eyes and reaction time isn’t quite so good.
I love the game and content tho!

I’ve been an MLB the show player for many many years. I’m disappointed by the early access, and now a week later things are still very unstable to say the least.
SDS, the right thing to do at this point is to openly communicate with the community and then offer some packs, stubs, and other things as a thank you for your community for buying your product. We need to be compensated somehow. If you go to a restaurant and things are wrong the manager/owner offers some sort of comp.
Do the right thing SDS and take care of your community.

After watching all the streams I think defense is really going to be a difference maker this year in 2020. The throwing meter alone! Looking forward to it all! Cheers to everyone at launch tonight! Best wishes all!

a couple times i've had the CPU pick me off at 1st. I wasn't trying to steal and I didn't take any extra lead. they threw over and my guy just stood there and the 1B tagged me out.

fun idea!

Many of us on here absolutely love the game and the content!

Following this thread. I turn 49 this weekend and love playing, but just not very good at hitting. I struggle with moving the PCI right on the ball and when i do I’m often late as mentioned above by others. I’m definitely going to try some different cameras now that y’all have mentioned it. I’ve been using SZ past 2-3 seasons.

Flipping is dead? I make a lot of stubs daily, and although the margins are low this year, it is easy.
Nah not worth it. If you're not making 200-300+ per flip, it's not worth it.
Disagree...flipping was worth it to me to collect all the live series players. I bet some others would agree as well that used the flipping method.

I've had success pitching FB up and in to the CPU hitter until I get 2 strikes then get them to chase off speed down well below the zone. if they don't chase after a couple balls then go FB up and in again. works a huge % of the time for me. Hope this helps and best wishes!
