Meaning, some of the records out there (I'm like a 2 to 1 ratio guy) 45-6ish in Ranked Seasons, but like...a goon is winning their BR game 95% of the time. If you're talking about a tiny skill gap between players with moderate to average skill, then yeah. It's a 3 inning mode on all star.

Less strike outs will happen, more foul offs, occasional perfect perfect or two or three. That tier are often too aggressive, not working counts on all star, etc etc.

Top, even mid tier players will take ball after ball, - hammer perfects again and again and wait until the time is right to strike on all star.

I am a pure enjoyer of the game, glass half full guy. Love it, learned to live with it. Etc. All of that.

But multi-million just didnt sit right this morning as my 2nd weekend classic game actually is a freeze off during the INTRO ANIMATION.

NGL this is the MOST EMBARASSING/outright RIDICULOUS competitive, online sports gaming situation I've seen in all of my years. As a guy who's played MLB and just about every sports game every single year, this has me speechless.

Like, it's true my buddy & I were bitten by this last season, we are yet to lose in co op, we were sitting at 780 points and already lost 1 freeze off, and then had 2 teams quit on us after we were up BIG in the first few innings. Should have seen my face when I saw "Phillies lose" - what a way to be rewarded for going like 20-0 so far in CO op

This is an UNTHINKABLE instability for the player base to be facing on what...year 3 of CO op, is it? 4?

How is this not fixed yet? Addressed? How can co op even be OPEN to playing at this stage?

Can you blame Internet folks for joining a game and quitting IMMEDIATELY? (Well, yes as two wrongs I suppose don't make a right) --- but, essentially enabling people to win world series rewards within minutes for quitting/dc'ing first at the start of season 2 the other day.

Venting, hoping for the best here folks!

Friend and I just played 2 co op games. Our opponents quit in back to back games.

We lost. Both. Games.

We were 2 points from world series. What is this madness? What an epic moment here POST-PATCH.

This just started affecting me today for the first time all year. I just got the same Challenge Failed error 10 times in a row when attempting to join an event game.

I have Verizon fios business speed, wired internet. NJ. No issues of this nature ever unless it was a widespread reported problem

Yeah, before trashing OP - maybe do a bit of research on previous iterations of MLB The Show - & CHEATING. I won't say anymore as to hopefully deter any maniacs who go want to pay for the...software? I have no idea if MLB 25 is plagued by this already, but I'm familiar with last year still having issues. Used to see the YouTube vids. They were hard to find, but it's a thing. I figured if it's not a PC title, we'd likely be free from any mainstream/accessible cheats software. Was sadly wrong

Hmmmm if only the batters eye at the Negro League stadiums were viable. I love these old ball parks, it's just not really feasible for HOF/Legend level competition.

Same here. Tried 3 times on Xbox x. Had to close all on second 2 attempts, first attempt for an online game my app completely crashed.

Thank you, i like to try to get every card. All the cards i need now are over 200k so the real challenge has begun. Hopefully the set 2s fall in price once set 4 comes out i really want those Dibble (Nasty Boy) and Frank Thomas (Big Hurt) cards

I was the 8tj person to p5 Nasty Boy, and immmmm not sure he's anywhere near worth it . He's better on high difficulty (hof/legend) but wouldn't use him on anything less. I think a guy like Felix Bautista is better & easy to obtain. Idk. If you like a guy IRL etc, go for it!
