“Challenge failed”
-
I have been an issue when trying to log into a dd game. Every time when I found an opponent it gives me a screen where it says challenge failed. I have t mobile and this is an issue that a lot of people are getting too. I have tried to resetting the router, turn it off turning it back on and nothing works. My other game works perfectly fine but it’s just mlb 25 is not working. I hope someone finds a way to fix this plz let me know. Don’t say oh just switch providers duh , shut up im not doing that. Oh yeah isn’t mlb sponsored by t mobile

Well if you won't change internet providers then your out of luck and don't bother playing online

This just started affecting me today for the first time all year. I just got the same Challenge Failed error 10 times in a row when attempting to join an event game.
I have Verizon fios business speed, wired internet. NJ. No issues of this nature ever unless it was a widespread reported problem
Bit nervous here... (For context, I've played every MLBTS every year-and roughly play online 5 days a week this year)
I am on Xbox X w/ cross play on btw
Update-weird. I can get into a ranked game no problem.

It's not the fault of SDS that T-Mobile has created something in its internet data exchange system that is causing issues. SDS cannot force T-Mobile to make their system compatible, nor can SDS work directly with T-Mobile to ensure the problems are removed. If anything, as a T-Mobile customer, you must contact them to raise the issue, and I have zero faith that anything you would do would effect any positive changes in T-Mobile's systems.
Blaming SDS for this isn't fair, isn't reasonable, and isn't productive in the least. You have a choice to make, and if MLB The Show is sufficiently important to you, then you need to change ISP's.
