Josh... my guy! You only play offline franchise. You should just stop with the "user skill" comments.

I'll make you a deal. Send me a friend request and we will play a friendly 3 game series to see if you're more skilled than an average online player.

Pitching has always been my strong suit. Not to say that I was terrible at hitting but I lived on my ability to keep my opponent in check from the mound. The game is way more fun when there is balance between hitting and pitching. User skill is almost irrelevant right now. If we can get pci outcomes corrected and pitching lined out then the game will be enjoyable.

I have a record slightly over .500 online, I win some and lose some.

Giving up a HR is a bummer, but you move on.

Replaying your HR is childish BS and should be eliminated from online play.

How is a 2 minute pause even close to a 10 second replay. You have issues my man. You do you. I replay my opponents homeruns if they're nice. If I watch a replay it's for 1 of 2 reasons.....I want the whole clip for a video (Mantle or my CAP Jasson Dominguez) or it was a real nice shot.

I really wish we could go back to the random pitcher selection. Some players are out here thinking it game 7 of the ws every game. I've won most if my matchups vs multiple starters in 1 game but it's just ridiculous that it's an option. You allow guys to do that but you still won't let me set separate lineups vs RHP or LHP. The Show is getting dangerously close to 2k logic.

It’s time for Online Franchise to replace Custom Leagues. We’ve had to endure the mediocre experience of Custom League too long. Playing with DD teams was a feeble attempt to make the mode more enticing but it actually makes it less fun. Online Franchise, for those of you that never had the privilege to play the mode, was the best mode in online sports games. Online Franchise mirrored the offline version but you could play with up to 29 other users like Custom League. Online Franchise utilized a full roster of players from Single A all the way up to The Show.. It also ran seasons consecutively without restarting and logged stats and awards from season to season. Bringing back Online Franchise back would the best thing to happen to the franchise since Diamond Dynasty debuted in 2012.

Good/popped with the ball about where the top diamond would be for a power hitter is frustratingly hilarious.

I have 2 issues. PCI outcomes and pitching inconsistencies.

I am a baseball first kind of guy. "The Show" has been my favorite game for so long starting with MLB '98. I started playing online in 2011 and DD(my favorite mode) in 2012. IMO this has been the worst year for gameplay.

And this is an example of why a lot of people don't play online - you think your better than a offline player and it's not worth dealing with it. You could be #1 in the world but how does anyone know it's not because you exploit every glitch/lag/crappy animation to get there? Why talk down to someone for their opinion? It's unnecessary and unproductive

I would've never given offline guys a hard time but Joshie likes to chime in on DD conversations calling online guys casuals and noobs(name calling) . I dont exploit anything. I dont dashboard(rage quit). I dont pitch multiple starters in the same game. I just enjoy the competition.

The banner is fixed. Wait until the hitter has crossed the plate and high fives his teammate and it'll disappear 100% of the time.

Who care if it happens to both players. The point is, the game has a few major flaws that take away from fun. There is no balance between hitting and pitching. A ball in the center of the pci should never be good/ok or good/popped. Perfectly released pitches should never miss the spot. No good release...but perfect! The issue with balls being drawn to the middle of the strike zone is quite disheartening.

It would be great if they made it for zone hitting only or just matched you up against an opponent using the same hitting style as you.

Homerun replays were an exceptional addition to this years product. If someone dosent have the patience to sit through the replays then they probably dont truly have patience for baseball. I dont see it as disrespectful if someone replays their shot. It actually gives me an opportunity to reset mentally, grab a drink or whatever. I replay all of my opponents homeruns. I've witnessed the youtubers getting aggravated over replays. I'd say to them....Yo! Tryhard!.....relax homie. Most of us play this game for fun. Most of those guys are playing in someone else's dime anyway. As professional video game players they should not only expect but even welcome their opponent making use of the programming genius that went into creating the game that makes them their money.

Overall gameplay looks more smooth. I watched a few games of "spirits" the other day and thought to myself...."man if sds could collaborate with those devs we could have something challenging and fun.

If not just be honest and completely transparent with the issues that have plagued gameplay this year. Dont ignore your 'customers" on a daily basis. If you cant handle the responsibility then step down and let someone who can step up.

This game is almost completely homerun or nothing. Pci outcomes , ridiculous fielding issues and pitching input being irrelevant are the worst of all problems.

If you buy a new car and it dosent perform as intended would that be ok? No. You would probably correspond with the dealer/manufacturer until the issue was resolved or you received a refund for buying a lemon.

I've played "The Show" competitively online since 2011. This has been the worst year as far as gameplay issues go imo.

User skill should always outweigh RNG in online play. Ranked season is the best mode IMO. That being said, I've slowed down on my amount of RS games until something is done with pitching.

It shouldn't matter how much money people spend on the game. It's their money. Our available resources and responsibilities aren't all the same. I spent 100 on packs from the get go. In my 1st 2/ 50 packs I pulled trout and most of the other high diamonds. After that I bought guys like Arenado Yelich and bellinger. I had Mick by March 25th. Didnt hurt my feelings or dent my bank account much at all. To each his own.
