@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS wow, that’s some top tier simping. You don’t generate interest by frustrating the heck out of your players and that’s all this moment did for any DD player. There are far better ways to “generate interest” than whatever this garbage was.

This is what happens when you have low iq crossy road rejects on your dev team. Most of us probably don’t play RTTS or even if we do catchers. Having an interface no one uses for a moment is absolute idiotic and another reason why the devs need to be replaced.

After attempting this even more, the person who put this in should be walked out on Monday. You really don’t need someone this dumb anywhere near your game.

@doobiebross66-72_PSN but that’s the thing, they should have responded (well, maybe not to me per se, but to the issue publicly). A good PT team would have acknowledged that the leaderboards weren’t working correctly, told people not to exploit it, and said something vague like “we will make it right”. Instead, they go radio silent and we are all left upset and in the dark. And might I remind everyone this is their shiny new super hyped mode this year and they couldn’t even get something as simple as a 3rd grade math formula correct.

@doobiebross66-72_PSN the fact that people (like you) are ok with them just ignoring a major issue with their most hyped new mode is why we will never get a better product.

I should be top 5 in my leaderboard, but because the devs can’t write a very simple math formula into the code, I am 38th. So, do I file my ticket for the 20 packs and 5k stubs now or wait until it’s final?

On a second note, since the leaderboards are not working as intended, anyone who was quitting games to tank on purpose during WC to exploit this bug should get a ban for the next WC.

@Ww2geek_MLBTS well, you didn’t get a 203 rating increase going 6-3 for one. The way it’s supposed to work is current rating - league minimum (for example silver 2 would be 600).

They better fix the leaderboards asap. It would be nice if we got some communication on the issue though @SDS_Adam_MLBTS

For those of you that don’t know, leaderboards in WC are not calculating points correctly (supposed to be “the difference between your rating at the start of the weekend classic and your rating at the end” (with a minimum start point of the base of your league)).

Currently, the leaderboards are adding all ratings points gained from wins with no adjustment for losses. If this isn’t fixed, the rightful winners of leagues are going to be sending in mass tickets to get their earned rewards, but more importantly, the current setup rewards tanking.

So, the question to SDS is are you going to fix this, or should I tank down to 400 and then win my way back so I can win my league?

As an example, the guy winning my league is 6-12, but has 290 points. Nice job devs.

They need to fix the leaderboards before the classic ends. Absolute fail on that so far. (I went 5-1 in silver 2)

@DodgerMatt93_NSW if you don’t think people will blow up about not getting packs, you’ve never played an ultimate team game.

According to the leaderboard info page, your ranking (points) are supposed to be the difference between you end rating and start rating (after making up for anything less than your leagues minimum).

What is actually going on is the leaderboard is only counting points from wins and not subtracting the losses. So for instance, the person at the top of my leaderboard is 7-8 but has 222 points. I’m at 140, even though I should be at 103.

If this isn’t fixed ASAP, the player base is going to revolt when they realize they got ripped off by the incompetent SDS devs.

Looking at my leaderboard as an example, I should 2nd instead of 5th. And fyi, it’s not just me, it’s happening on every leaderboard.

@SaveFarris_PSN I think you missed the point. The claim was absurd on its face (that Pepsi was on the hook for a harrier) and not only did they offer a substantial settlement, but it took a very favorable ruling from a very favorable judge (that Pepsi effectively court shopped to get) for them to get a dismissal (without ever having the execs testify).

No one here is talking about suing SDS, but merely pointing out they effectively lied to their player base on both the “play your way” and “better rewards” aspects of the multiplayer program.

Can SDS please confirm if your weekend classic “bracket” is set by your highest rating achieved in the current season or your rating when the weekend starts?

With the bug that has HoF at 600 (instead of 700 like the game says) I don’t want to play and risk losing my 600 rating until it’s fixed if highest rating is being used.

I am also cheesed off that SDS lied about the “play your way” multiplayer program (because without that 50 bundle it is nowhere near “better” than what it replaced). And it’s not just the BR and Event requirements, but having those player pxp missions without them always being eligible for events pretty much forces us to play ranked with the program cards too.

As for company’s making misleading statements issue, just go watch “Pepsi, Where’s My Jet” documentary.

My guess is SDS realized that no one is playing br and the br goons are sad they have no scrubs to beat up on, so they are trying to force us into that mode again (scummy move, but likely what’s going on).

Let’s be clear, the OP was in OhChev’s twitch chat last night bragging about how he used his profits from these back orders to sell to 3rd party stub sites. He is mad because this change is costing him actual money (violating TOS).

What’s amazing about this level of incompetence is that they didn’t even mention mini seasons in the patch notes. They somehow can break things they are supposedly not touching.

Once again (this is 2 years in a row) a patch has broke the game and made it unplayable. Do not load in right now to DD as there is a very high likelihood you will get booted mid-game and lose progress.

At what point does SDS realize their devs are actually incompetent at their jobs and clean house?

My guess is SDS turned down the hit chance of line drives and perfects (both liners and grounders) to make up for the fact that there would be more hit due to bad infielder reactions in order to keep scoring more reasonable). Of course it was a dumb move and plays awful, but that’s my guess and it seems to play out (more likely to get a hit this year on medium groundballs than perfects.

I’ve played. Other than the garbage stadium locked, I like events still even without the rewards. It’s a good way to get online stats for free (vs br) without having to play 9 inning sweaty games on ranked. I applaud SDs for the change.

I’m well over 100 walks vs cpu already (thank you milestones for keeping track), which is utterly insane (I usually try very hard not to walk vs cpu in random games)
