Need More and Easier TA XP

I’d propose a new mission for each team that gives 100,000 TA progress for 500pxp. Otherwise, I feel the TA grind may actually cost them goodwill and possible retention of new players.
As someone who only has one Team affinity done I am not so sure I agree.
First, that already did that essentially with the Color Storm Drop. Do that first, use that card and get 150K TA progress for only 500 PXP. That more than halfway to the all star card.
I assume we will see something similar when and if they ever get around to the next TA mini program.
The problem with a catch-up mechanic for those who start late, or like me are just too lazy, is that it completely invalidates the effort it took other players to reach that point.
That said, the fact that we have only had the one extra TA mini program and the next one probably won't probably drop until August or Sept is weak.

@Dolenz_PSN no it doesn’t. It’s a video game. Nothing is “invalidated” by allowing late starters to catch up. Did it take away me having those cards/packs/etc for months? And those color storms take at least an hour each to get (for a good player in 9 inning games at Costco, much longer for someone new or not spamming vs cpu).

@whiplash0013_PSN let me explain the problem in time terms. You say you are only halfway through TA, but you’ve played over 100 hours of the game (for a comparison, it takes about 100 hours to beat BG3). No one can really defend that amount of time sink at this point in the year for new players to earn cards that are already behind the curve and get further behind every every content drop).
You're assuming future content drops wont include any more missions.
You assume incorrectly. -

Thats textbook bad game design though. Catch up mechanics are important. I would suggest its far too early for an all star catch up mechanic though, give it 4 weeks or so.
But caring about other people's feelings getting hurt because they walked uphill in the snow should not be on SDS list of things to care about
I just hope next year they go back to the pre-2024 TA model with 5 big drops with multiple ways to earn program xp

You assume incorrectly.Yeah, if they do another mini program later that has the same bonus as The Color Storm card did then that would be 300K out of the 365K needed for both All-Star and Finest

One idea would be to give some Exchanges like they currently do in each TA program. Either grind or spend stubs to “catch up”.

This.
Im just going to say this: When they introduced the Mission where you could use the Color Storm player, 500 PXP, to get 150,000 credit towards the main TA path, for that player's team, did you forget about the people that came on here complaining, that already were to the #1 fan icimon, that they just did all that grinding for nothing?
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN He didn't forget...just ignored it completely so his argument would still have teeth.
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN again, I’m not worried, nor should SDs be worried about no lifers (and as someone with 500 hours in on my main I am one) about other people getting caught up.
-
@SaveFarris_PSN well we haven’t had one in forever and again if it’s like color storm and takes over an hour each team, it won’t really solve the problem.
-
@GradektheBard_PSN You can't compare a game like BG3 which has little to no replay value to a sports game which is all about replay value. The idea is once you build your team you play with your team. Once you finish BG3 or any other campaign-based game, it's done, not much point playing it again. I will say that they gave you 150k for each TA Color Storm card, so they will probably give you another 150k with the next TA release, which will probably come in the next season.
