How do you get a code? I subscribe to the scouting report. Don’t see any codes in the email. Do only certain people get them?

We actually going to get all of these team captains this time?

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X_PSN First, I don’t even expect season 4 cornerstone captains. We didn’t even get mid season captains this season. They aren’t even trying anymore. Second, it’s a great idea. Why not give us all of them at this point? It’s not like any of the pitching captains are that great in the first place. Having said that, it won’t happen because they rarely make decisions the community actually likes.

@MarioMendoza935_XBL If you’re only looking at World Series wins, sure. The Yankees have won their division 12 times to Boston’s 5 over that time period. They’ve made it to World Series 4 times each. Yes, the Red Sox won all 4 times to the Yankees 1, which is the most significant measure, but let’s not pretend like the Yankees have fallen off a cliff.

@dbub_PSN Well, it is a convenient choice when 4 of the preceding 5 years they won it all. 30 years ago is hardly ancient history. Again, most of the big legends in this game precede that time period.

@dbub_PSN How convenient that you are cutting off the relevancy at 2000 when the Yankees won 3 out of the 4 preceding years, 1999, 1998 and 1996. They’ve also won twice “this century” in 2000 and 2009. They’ve been in the World Series and lost 3 additional times in that time period. Suggesting they haven’t been a top team recently is laughable. In the context of legends in this video game, this century doesn’t mean much. They are the most storied franchise in the game. I’d bet this game’s largest fan base are Yankees fans and they know it.

@ref479ode_PSN I’m the opposite with Ohtani. I’m historically good with him, but haven’t been with the 50/50. I’ve done well with both Tatis cards.

Keep in mind that pitching is leaps and bounds better than it was earlier in the season. This is likely a much bigger factor than the difference in cards. If you’re talking online, the player base at this point in the year is also better with less casuals.

@jaychvz_XBL Yeah, they made a mistake ruining that captain. Captains as a whole were pretty disappointing this year and now we haven’t even gotten the mid season captains for season 3. Probably won’t even get any more at this rate. So much potential for lineup diversity with captains, but they can’t get it even close to right.

It really feels like they’ve mailed it in. They haven’t given us mid season captains like every other season. Pretty fitting in a year with very little change from last year.

They’ve made so easy this season. I expect a scaled down BR too.
