Frankly, it’s despicable that some teams have all hitting captains. You’re telling me after 4 rounds of TA you couldn’t get this right? Ridiculous.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN Hoffman would have been a terrible pick. The Padres are loaded with relievers. I know we need a 99 Hoffman, but this isn’t the time. The Padres last captain was a reliever. This needed to be a bat. It looks like Merrill which is a perfect choice. The Padres desperately need a CF option for their theme team and a position player captain is ideal.

@P0pa-Cherry_XBL The last thing a Padres theme team needs is another reliever, but that is the predictable choice. I want a 99 Gwynn. I could see Ozzie Smith because SDS has zero imagination and loves recycling.

@Dolenz_PSN There needs to be balance for all types of players. I thought we had that with Team Affinity this year, but they ruined it with the color storm. I think a good model is making TA a grind while keeping the other programs easier that way both types of players are incentivized to play. They could also make the specific player programs more of a grind with updates throughout the year.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN I think I’ve got diamond twice all year and both times the cards were at or near quicksell, so even when you get lucky, the rewards suck. There’s no incentive to spin the wheel, so people stop playing to save xp for the next inning, so they can get the boss packs day 1. That’s a bad model IMO. They need to make the wheel spins more rewarding.

@AppleLemon560_MLBTS You are not alone. I have not been playing because there is no incentive to play. I’ve been saving everything with xp to do when the new inning starts. There’s no reason to spin the wheel because the rewards suck. The xp path is too short. Programs are incredibly easy. Not sure how much longer I’ll be playing, or if I’m buying next year.

@elMexicano281_PSN play as many home games as you can because it’s faster without playing the bottom of the 3rd. Win 16 regular season games. Quit out of the rest. Again, quit away games if you can. Then, 6 more playoff games is 22 total. It’s possible to do less, but 16 is safe to get you into the playoffs. Once you have a couple runs, whatever you’re comfortable with, you could bunt out of games to make them quicker.
