@Sarge1387_PSN your’re right but the risk of another publisher taking a stab at it is the exact reason SDS will do another game next year

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS I mean that’s not exactly true or what I mean. Will there be a game released? Yes, will some people buy it? Yes. But if the numbers do really bad for the game Sony won’t be happy because mlb is usually one of their more consistent games year after year. Hopefully they don’t change anything for next years game and it does really bad sales wise and then SDS is forced to make some changes in their team

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN post wasn’t even complaining. Just getting an everyone’s opinions out there for SDS to see. This year they had the momentum of WBC to help their sales but next with with a lockout coming and this year leaving a sour taste in peoples mouths next year they gonna have awful numbers unless they improve a lot. Also if game drops again in March GTA 6 will only be 3 months old and a ton of players will just keep playing that and not worry about mlb.

There seems to be lack of interest in the game this year earlier than past years. The twitch numbers are down considerably and videos made on the game from bigger creators are generating less views than usual for this time of year, indicating people are losing interest in the game. What do you guys think the reason is and how can they fix it? I think changes made around roster updates and the market aswell as the struggle for them to deal with bots is one of the main reasons for people losing interest

With roster update coming Friday What’s everyone’s predictions on new diamonds? I think they’ll be 4 new diamonds

@whyme76_XBL I’m guessing they got like 1 dude working on the app lol. Because this is just funny how bad that are struggling at fixing it at this point

App is back to being insanely slow, are they ever gonna actually fix this or they just gonna keep doing updates too the app that don’t help the speed

@qkuzzy_PSN best they can do is another 3 updates to the app. That do nothing besides slow it down more

@JenkinMeyer_PSN I could see that and that would make sense. Something has got to be going on with how the game has been so far. If I worked for sds in the live team department I’d be super worried about my job in the next year or 2 lol

@WoozyPolarBear_MLBTS if you can find enjoyment out of that, then that’s the play tbh. Diamond dynasty has been [censored] this year. Mutiple negative changes and almost no positive ones. I wonder why they are doing such a poor job overall this year

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN considering the massive letdown this year I doubt it. I’m just looking forward to when the sales tank when lockout hits and they have massive layoffs because of it. The lockout mixed with the bad game this year is gonna hurt bad next year. Even now the overall numbers for this game are far down compared to any mlb the show since 21. Surprising considering they had the wbc to work with at the start of the year and IRL baseball viewership doing so well

@Messiah_Ortiz_84_PSN very low tier rage bait, there has been lots of good suggestions on what they can do better.

1. Work on a strong anti cheat to deal with cheaters and bots (their current anti cheat is horrendous)
2. Speed the app up, in past years the app ran smoothly, this year it’s been awful
3. Up 20 card limit, this killed the investing side of the game
4. Optimize menus in game, they’ve gotten better but these still are the slowest moving menus I’ve seen in years
   This game feels like it’s a massive step backwards

Even after the recent update the app is painfully slow, maybe even worse now

Hopefully they fix this soon

Yeah next year there’s gonna be a ton more layoffs aswell, they’ll like be a lockout so there’s gonna be no hype for this game, also because the regualr season won’t be going they want me able to do live content or updates based on how the players are doing. The poor game made this year mixed with a lockout next year is gonna kill their game
