Player cap that’s all people. If you are limited on market overall that’s only some people

@CanEHdian19_PSN yeah that’s because people have mutiple accounts with bots attached to them lol. The 20 card cap isn’t to combat the sites that sell stubs or market bots. It’s so the everyday average Joe is more tempted to buy stubs. I’ve came to peace with it, short term it will work. Problem for them is with, all the cheating bots, market bots, general people cheating via Cronus, market limits on regular people, 20 card limit. People will be mad and stop playing earlier this year and it will drastically hurt sales for next years game. And when numbers aren’t what they hope for mutiple People will have to take the fall for that. That gives me peace, because obviously everyone on the live team is on board with being greedy this year

I want the 20 card cap changed as much if not more than all y’all but it’s not gonna happen. SDS is trying to get whatever money they can from this game with the lockout looming. They already know next year isn’t gonna be a good so they are trying to get all the money possible this year, regardless of how the community feels. Yes they’ve made packs more attainable and I think the amount of content so far has been good, but there I’d heavily outweighed by the negatives

• stub sites using more market bots than any past year
• cheating bots on ranked that haven’t been countered so far
• 20 card limit not being addressed at all (if you mention it in the live steam insta 30 min timeout)
• accidentally restricting real people from the market well the bots run free still
  Overall I think this has been the worst mlb I’ve played and hopefully they can save face and make some good changes before they fully ruin their reputation for being better than companies like EA

@PittsburghPAVS_XBL it’s comical how sds will limit people on the market but not have any anti cheat. It’s literally safer for people to run a bot/cronus to win all the games and just use the rewards from that then it is to flip on the market. There’s a reason that 90% of the people in the top 300 are bots lol.

@Teak2112_MLBTS I like it how sds decided to worry about a card limit this year instead of any kind of counter to cheating via Cronus. It’s been insanely bad on 2k they had to have figured out it was gonna be bad for mlb too. Last I seen in the top 300 players less than 10% were actual players the rest obvious bots. Absolutely clueless company. I promise you multiple people are gonna be replaced if they don’t turn the game around. It’s the last good year Sony is gonna have with a mlb game for probably at last A year, and sds is blowing it.

@LHUBison58_XBL live series diamonds are on the exact same pace as past years. They slowly decrease as the year goes on (minus the 90+s). Ohtani is more this year than any past game though. Overall I don’t think the cop out of market health makes sense with the current state of the market

The drop rate on twitch packs for diamonds went from 50-67. The exact number for the drop rate on high diamonds I don’t have off the top of my head.
More packs doesn’t mean more stubs if you don’t pull anything, a large number of people use investing/flipping to make stubs. With the changes they’ve made both have been heavily nerfed. (20 card limit) (account restrictions on people who flip cards). If you don’t think the changes they are making and continue to make aren’t strictly to help them make more money and hurt NMS you are either working for SDS or delusional

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN yes but with the route mlb the show is going down the games are gonna keep getting more pay to win and more people will get annoyed. Back when previous competition tried mlb the show was in a good spot and sds was actually trying to please the player base. There’s a long list of negative changes that go far beyond the 20 player cap that they put in this year. Changes that are obviously put into place to try and force more stub sales

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN I’m not saying EA would do better but the competition would make SDS do better. You can can act like I’m wrong but sds going down that road that they would be even with EA soon

@Wolfski0412_PSN facts bro, it’s whatever if they keep down this road and a company like EA sees them struggling hopefully they takes another stab at mlb and force the sds to actually care about the player base and not just money

@cusejuice315_PSN not everyone wants to flip or has the time to flip. Some people enjoy the investing aspect and use it as an extension of fantasy baseball. Makes it more interesting to follow players you are invested in. Like I’ve previously said increasing the limit to 100 would give people a good amount that would still make it interesting and it wouldn’t ruin anyone else’s experience or the market.

@BrthrDarkness_PSN obviously they aren’t communicating within their team to go and time everyone out who goes and asks about it but then give a encouraging message on the forum

Ain’t no way they timed every person out who mentioned the 20 card limit during the live stream. 2 days ago sds_joek on the forums says there’s been a lot of good discussion on it but then anyone who brings it up got timed out? Kinda mixed signals to say that then time out anyone who mentions it on the live stream

It might be an unpopular opinion but I like the game how it is this year. I agree losing games when you are making better contact than your opponent is frustrating but it happens. Even IRL it happens on a frequent basis but in the long run you’ll win more games than you lose when making more hard contact than your opponent. You just need to try and have fun and not take the game so serious

@SteelyMacBeam_PSN I think the increase in big cards would only be temporary and very short term if they increased the limit

@xero4019_XBL yes on a different thread. Seems like they are at least watching and monitoring these threads. They said there’s been some concerns brought to with the 20 care limit. They either bating the people with hope so they don’t quit or they actually are considering making a change on it
