@unliveablechris_PSN are you joking? Of course they won’t apologize. When they changed the 20 card cap without saying anything pre launch people were mad, but if you mentioned it in stream you were insta banned

@Sarge1387_PSN well put, my hope is next year a lockout is likely when mlb the show usually drops so the hype for baseball will be down aswell it’s gonna be only a few months after GTA drops. Those factors along with how poorly this year has went will likely hurt sales drastically next year. Hopefully resulting in them reverting some of the greedy changes made this year

@Manu__SDS_MLBTS so to get this straight the goal is to limit both bots and regular people? I know people getting limited is just a byproduct of limiting the bots but your end goal would result in people also getting limited (temporarily same as it has been but not to the same extent). Just trying to understand

@General_Heaux_PSN we shouldn’t have to close the app every 2 transactions to be able to use it . I think at this point I’d rather them either not do any restrictions with the app or just delete it tbh

@LadySwampfox_XBL see I agree they’ll lose NMS but given the moves I’ve listed I think that’s what they are trying to do already. The fantasy/investing aspect has been all but removed and now they are trying to remove flipping. Pretty obvious with the moves made this year the intentions are to push out NMS. I don’t understand why they are doing it so hard this year when the team handling diamond dynasty/live series is relatively the same as past years.

@LadySwampfox_XBL exactly, because it’s an app it’s harder to create anti cheat for that defects stuff like that but it’s doable. Because if they don’t do things are gonna continue how they are now

Because I think most people can agree that when an order is instantly placed before yours over and over on a card that a bot is the one doing it. To code a anti cheat for that it isn’t hard, but it does take some time, and I think it would help

@Manu__SDS_MLBTS I mean I’m not joking when I say if SDS is open to outsourcing work I’d be more than happy to help implement this.

@TearlessKahn_XBL I mean if they actually wanted to combat bots all they need to do is add an anti cheat that detects when a account is instantly placing orders 1 below someone as soon as they try and place a bid. After the same account places a 5th Insta order below the person trying to sell there’s that account gets limited. Thats how they could actually fix this, and it’s not even a hard fix to implement

@Ditka06-_MLBTS I think he’s in the minority but given the moves they made this year I think what he’s saying is a likely change. Even though people will hate it

What is everyone’s thoughts on the following changes they’ve made this year

• throttling app and restricting after you place 5 orders in a minute to combat bots
• 20 card cap
• extending the window of roster updates( prior years we’d get 8 in the regular season, this year they are on pace for only 4)
  Seems like they are slowly trying to weed out investing, I’m personally not a fan of this because I do it myself and it’s a good NMS method, but I’m curious to know everyone’s thoughts

@Player99_MLBTS it’s pretty simple actually, a lot of people love the game of baseball, and atm this is the only baseball game out that is featured around the mlb. So peoples only option to get an enjoyable experience is to ask them to ask and hope they make improvements. I’ll say this is in my opinion the worst mlb they’ve had in probably 4 years. Bad timing aswell with lockout and GTA 6 both looming

@Beaterrr_XBL yeah I was wondering why they put him and Britton in packs then I seen this post lol. They don’t like people making stubs on investments this year

@Manu__SDS_MLBTS just trying to go and sell cards in my collection and after like 5 orders get the restricted message. Even if it’s to try and combat bots I don’t think this is the way, it’s fully ruining the app for a lot of us

@LadySwampfox_XBL I’m not but it’s ridiculously easy to code around. Let’s say if you place over 10 orders every minute you get temporarily market limited. They can just set the bot to place only 9 orders per minute. So will this slow down bots? Yes, but they will still work 100%
