I tried to knock that out in the event yesterday. I already had 30 wins, so I put together an all speed team. I would time my opponents delivery to sneak in an extra step, and I still got nailed almost every time. I've never been much of a base stealer, but I definitely feel like it's harder this year. 99 speed/99 steal doesn't seem to mean much.

Bingo. Nailed it right there. If you need evidence, look no further than posts on this forum. How many people chose the same unsellable cards last year in team affinity? How many people list cards at quicksell value, and lose 10% as opposed to just quickselling? How many people whine about Future Star cards because they're made up, while simultaneously complaining about one of the greatest baseball players of all time being released today because "wahhhhh, too many first basemen type cards".

I'm not sure what you mean. They're choice packs. People can choose Hoffman in every rewins pack every time, or never choose him. Theoretically price should even out through all the event rewind picks since you are most likely going to pick whoever is selling for the most. I think there were 2-3 rewind packs in the last event reward path if I remember correctly.

Thats because people are flipping common through gold cards, and they're mad they aren't swimming through a sea of stubs like Scrooge McDuck.

Appreciate you posting this. I’ve been thinking about this and wanting to get a chance to post it for others. They are making these collections interesting this week. I have all the Takashi cards, and all but four cards in the game….but I might not be able to complete either collection this week.

I can’t make WS in a day to get the Maddux and then if that Takashi reward is a voucher, I won’t have it for the big one…then it will take time to complete FS, which puts me short two categories when I have virtually all cards. Not complaining…it is just interesting that these collections this week could be pretty hard even for people with most cards.

I'm in a similar boat. I'm down the the rare round Intense pack guys, JR Richard, Pujols, and Bay. I could buy a few of them, but I think I have enough for each of those categories and don't see the point in overpaying at stub sale prices. I think last year was similar. I kept up with all the cards for the most part, and I don't think I had Mariano on day 1. There may have been a new category added then as well.

I already have them all, plus an unopened pack from the reward path. I think I'll hold that one until the collection releases. I don't play a lot of ranked, so the new one is going to be a problem. Will probably be really expensive

So you had a perfect perfect, and it was a pop up?

The fact that it went to the outfield makes me believe it was actually a line out, and not a pop up. Line outs happen in the MLB when the ball is hit hard.

I'm hoping they have another Jasson Dominguez card this year. That was one of my favorite cards in 21. He started in my outfield for months.

No. I haven't really played on Switch much since launch. All on Series X.

Go for one of the headliners like Eck that are close to quicksell value. If you have the stubs up front, that's about as low risk as you can get.

I've been flipping headliners for a while, and I now have almost every player card in the game.

The problem with flipping headliners is that as soon as there's a flash sale they all tank. Which will surely happen in the middle of whatever I'm doing

I always stop flipping by 12pm on the day that new packs drop. I wait for the drop and then buy cheap cards in bulk to sell back when the market bounces back.

Also, if you're flipping headliners that are around quicksell value, worst case scenario you just quicksell them.

Seager and Robert still have spots on my bench. I brought the rest to a farm upstate where they could run free and hit all the homeruns they want.

Directional hitting has been the boogeyman of this forum for years. If directional were more rewarding, everyone would use it. It's not. I would play against directional opponents every day of the week if I could.

I don't play a lot of ranked. I'm currently 4-3, and all 3 of the losses were crashes on the lineup screen while loading into the game. Has this been an issue for anyone else? I play a ton of BR and event games and never really have that issue with them. The only thing I can think to do is delete and reinstall.
