Do I sell Mike Trout to buy Ohtani, Judge, or Witt? I do not know what will happen to these cards when tomorrow comes, and everyone is playing. I would love to hear some feedback from people who are in the know. Thanks!

@nymets1987 Your odds of getting something out of a standard pack is 1:50, five times, lol. That is such a small sample size. One year for the daily double rewards I got LS Mike Trout. Last year I opened up like 25 bundles looking for that Elly card and never pulled him. Bought two 50-pack bundles the evening the 99 Mike Trout Milestones card dropped and pulled him twice. That was a 1.7M stub profit out of 100k in packs. It is all just luck.

Right now it is 300,000 stubs for $100. One thing people need to understand is that game developers do not make much from game sales anymore compared to what games cost to make. They make money off of the micro-transactions associated with the games.

They will be nice to run theme teams with after Season 4 starts. But yeah, this game is pretty dead before the new years hits. From that point everyone is waiting on next year's game.

Cruz because he impacts hitters. There isn't enough HOF pitcher cards to fully utilize Mussina yet.

If they want you to use the cards they will release a Captain for those OOP cards. Also, if there are only 3 wild cards during this portion of season 3 then that could put more pressure on players to use these cards. Trout played SS and I think Trout will be the Angels OOP player.

About time to politely leave the show 24 behind if this is true.

Not going to hold back here, if this is true this is just a terrible, terrible idea. You can't have sets and seasons and institute something like this. This might be tied to SDS having such a limited pool of players. You can't keep running out as much content as they have without mixing things up. If this really is a thing I have lost just about all desire to play this game.

Yeah, really does make no sense, but I am sure it translates to dollars somehow.

How can anyone say that it is not worth it without know what the reward for finishing it happens to be? What if it is a wild card slot plus cards? What if it is 99 Mantle?

I played in it and won 30, but I lost at least 30. The problem for me is that outside of less than a handful of amazing players who would have beat me in any scenario, it was a RNG fest. Line drives caught, bloops at times, balls on the black called balls and there was so many of them for me that would have gotten me out of innings. The most frustrating game I had was against an opponent who went 7 or 8 outs to start the game without a run. I didn't get a called strike 3 on the black for out #2 and then he scored 13 runs before I got the next out. Every pitcher lost stamina and confidence so quickly and were so wild.

They just gave us CORE Banks. Adding too many CORE 99's would make wild cards less important from a grind perspective. They are in a tough place given the small number of legends available to them.

If you give it until 8/29 we will get another 4 Captains at the launch of season 3 and I think that one will be for Jin Kim players.
