@GoozeFn_PSN I thought that was offline? Regardless, there are memory leaks in the game that weren't present in the last several versions.

@GoozeFn_PSN It has nothing to do with his Internet connection. The crash is producing an error result that isn't related to the real cause of the issue. Let's move on from that. His issues occur during offline games. There is an XBOX4/PS5 issue that's caused memory leak-based crashes, and this has seemingly gotten worse over the course of the last two patches.

@jake93436_PSN There's a lot of crashing issues with the game right now, where it halts the system, seemingly disconnects, etc. On XBOX, it doesn't go to the dashboard, it just locks up the hardware. I have to hard reset or quit to get it back. It happens to me in Classic too.

@yankblan_PSN I like both consoles and PC, but having worked with PCs for... 31 years now? The more I know about PCs, the more of a pain in the [censored] they are. I just see huge potential for this game on that platform. When I'm in the Vault, and I don't see a console icon next to a creation, from where is that person creating that logo, roster, or player doing it?

Ain't that the truth! Seriously, I'm not wanting to agitate any of you. I haven't been on these forums long, with good reason, but I care a LOT about the game.

My heart's always in the right place, even if I come off as a jackass! It's my sense of humor that has never translated well, online. It didn't work 25 years ago, and it doesn't now!

San Diego Studio has the only product in town. They brought The Show to the Switch of all places, where it runs like [censored]. The next logical step is PC. The market for it is HUGE.

@victoryphoenix_PSN There it is! If only Sounds of the Show had been kept (they could have done it, but chose to force us to listen to 95% vulgar modern "hip hop" instead). I do my best to tolerate a few of the songs, but man, it was infinitely better when I could create players and play games with all my own custom music.

What would you mod first? People are scared about being able to mod their way to multiplayer wins, but there's good anti-cheat software SDS can implement. I think the console-only boys and girls may just be a bit jealous of the scope of PC gaming.

@Bruhzilla8629_XBL Yeah, and it's been so stable for years. I usually buy it for both Playstation & XBOX, but I haven't this year, so all I know is the XBOX version. I'm glad I'm not the only one! Well, I'm also NOT glad, because it sucks for us! lol

After playing for an hour or so, sometimes a bit more or less, MLB The Show 25 crashes (on XBOX). It doesn't close, but the application halts, completely, so manual Exit is necessary. This has happened to me many times this year, not in past years, but in the most recent patch or two, it's very frequent. I often cannot finish an entire game.

Earlier yesterday, I couldn't get through an 8-player offline home run derby without it crashing.

What's the dizzle?

And most likely, you won't be able to do that, or you'll only be able to play against people on your platform only.

@AllRise99_NSW I'm so happy you're here lol... I feel like, eventually, Nike & Fanatics need to move that checkmark or have it match the color of the lettering on the team's name. Or better yet: Make it the same color as the jersey, kind of like a watermark! XD

And the ads... they should have to match the teams colors.

@AllRise99_NSW I know all about that. It's funny how much people hated on Triple Play/MVP Baseball; when 2005 was released, most weren't enthused by it, but given it was the last one, it quickly became a symbol for baseball on PC.

The former developers of that game are impressed how much love it gets, to this day. MLB.com did a video on it a few months back.

SDS knows we all want a PC version. Since they chose to take on the license alone, the pressure and the demand is there!

I'll be removing the Nike logos and the ads from the uniforms, so they aren't so fugly anymore!
