These are not moments, they are basically the stupid situations they used to fill the showdowns with when they first started that mode. Another god awful idea in a year stuffed with them.

God awful moment. We have 60 different versions of some mediocre players but we have literally 1 Mantle card in the entire game and it’s mid August. This dump of a stadium is impossible to hit a home run in and right center has a fence that a toddler could leap over, anytime I hit a ball there it’s a ground rule double. This moment is a perfect encapsulation of how this game as a whole was this year. End rant.

I just realized that there’s only 1 pack for the collection rewards. So right now we can only pick 1 from Jeter, Gibson and Thomas. That makes no sense to me, I hope they add another pack to it to when the next team affinity starts.

@PAinPA_PSN there’s a ton of new ones for the dbacks, cubs, rays, Rockies and some other teams I can’t remember off the top of my head. I thought they would be in the new TA conquest maps but they aren’t. You can see them all throughout the jersey collection section.

Anyone know how to get the jerseys that were added today? They aren’t available on the market.

You can skip one catagory, i skiped the faces of the Franchise which you now have to collect 50 out of.

You get 2k for every catagory you complete. You get a 10 pack of show packs for completing 9 of them and the there are new uniform collections for both throwbacks which get you 4.5k each and a 10 pack of the show packs each.

I absolutely cannot stand 3 hit moments. I can get 3 hits if they would maybe throw more than 2 strikes across 4 at bats.

It’s just hilarious because I can think of a few extreme moments that are easier than this one.

Chipper is most likely a boss in the program thats coming tomorrow. I agree on the next collection reward being a pitcher though.

Woke up determined to beat Showdown so I didn’t have to P5 Wood and grind 2 25k Pxp rewards.

I had lost to Chapman my first 2 showdown attempts but got strategic on my draft this morning and best Chapman with 4 outs remaining and Ryan with 3.

I had all 100 plus contact vs lefty in lineup a Randy and best him with 17 outs to go ( he was easiest of the last 3 due to my drafting).

Feels good to be done. I am a slightly above average player so if I can do it, any of you can.

Good luck and thanks for reading. My wife and daughter would just roll their eyes on my excitement.

How was the pack haul from Conquest?

Huge. I got around 100 regular packs and so many HL choice packs, plus all the other limited packs.

Guessing I walked with about 400k when I sold stuff off.

It’s a grind though but I did it all in one sitting with every game on HOF and had to play an extra steal game on legend due to missing a goal initially

Just curious, but why did you play games on HOF? The highest difficulty I played on was all star and that was only for the first few strongholds and 3 steal fans games.

I got unlucky on my 4th turn vs the Padres when I was in the hexagon next to them they attacked me and forced me to play on Legend. It was either that or start over because I wasn’t ahead of schedule. Maybe something like this happened to him

You're right, I didn't realize that until after I posted. I got extremely lucky then I suppose.

Turn based missions and restarting will definitely be a thing. But I think this map only having 15 strongholds will make it easier and quicker than the first extreme map we had

Depends if they are strictly LS teams or Legends teams, I am pretty sure for all the past extreme conquest’s they used flashback and legends cards for the teams so that could add a bit more difficulty to it.

I dont recall that being a thing for extreme, you might be thinking of the old timers program from 20, i think those teams had legends and flashbacks. In 18 it was just hard as hell due to the turn based stuff, the teams were the regular current mlb teams.

Wasn't a FS one of the big rewards in the Extreme program a couple years ago? If the blue and gold is actually a hint, I guess it could be a 99 Bobby Witt Jr. He was the top prospect leading to 2022, so I wouldn't be surprised if they chose him as being a reward way back in like February or whatever.

EDIT: Oh wait I just saw the tweet and it looks like a pitcher (but position players throw the ball too, so I guess that doesn't mean anything). And it looks like Wrigley.

For what its worth, the Volpe 99 BR reward teaser had him throwing the ball as well so its not like SDS hasn't used that misdirection before.

Could be a 99 Bobby. It could be a 99 Banks. They might continue their horrible decisions and give us a Bret Saberhagen (blue/gold image ...away team at wrigley?)

Expectations is 99 Kerry Wood....milestone 20k card?

I hope its a pitcher, especially if its the one you need to P5 because it would be a lot easier.

It's not Saberhagen. They take those images straight from the game. It would be comically obvious if it was the slenderman

Saberhagen would be such a horrible choice. The gold and blue colors are throwing me off. Gold is not a cubs color. Pretty sure with every clue we have gotten on twitter this year the colors have matched the team of the player. Not sure what other Royal it could possibly be though, maybe Wade Davis?

The gold is there just to throw you off. Look at the stadium in the background. Whether it's wrigley or not can be debated but it sure isn't Kauffman

Yeah its obviously wrigley, but the colors have never just been there to throw us off previously is what I am saying.

Yeah CQ extreme was a joke in 20. I'm pretty sure with the right strategy you could complete all of it on allstar

It released late so there was a full mid and high diamond roster available for it too.
The original USA full map missions could be done on all AS but if you did it early there weren't many diamonds avail yet,not to mention the single team missions which were multiple HoF and LED games and you had silver and gold teams. made it more challenging and fun

The first ever extreme conquest map from '18 was absolutely insane. It made me a lot better at the game because of all those games we had to play on hall of fame and legend. Pretty sure that came out in like April that year so my team wasn't crazy good yet either.

I don't need him for my team. But I'll eventually need him for the next collection and I'm not locking in 80K in a card that I won't use.

I don’t think he will tnh because he didn’t come in a pack. I think his price will rise.

Yes his price will explode. I may pick up another for that reason.

He’s back up to 95k. I think he will go even higher once he’s no longer in the program.

I am pretty sure that they ended up adding a pack full of those guys to the BR reward path around this time last year, I would expect them to do the same this year.

I feel like the shark map is usually a little overhyped. I’m not saying it isn’t a good map to do, I just think people are always expecting so much from it. I appreciate what they do put in it though.

The first time they did it was the best one, its been more and more watered down with each year.

The Silver Slugger Javy Baez has the same issue, he has his Tigers number instead of the correct #9 from his cubs days. What's weird is I was facing one of the mini seasons team and that same Baez card was on the teams roster wearing #9, makes no sense to me.
