Players, no, pieces of [censored] like this are what give online play a bad rep and shouldn't be allowed to draw breath; let alone play the game.

I'm sure your aware of this; but the odds don't mean that one in every 50 packs you buy/earn will contain a Diamond. It means that you have a 1 of 50 chance to pull a Diamond out of that particular pack.

But I always wonder if I just sit there and think, before playing, that this is a video game and one of it's reasons for being developed is to help people relax and forget about life's issues; if it wouldn't bother me so much when people do stuff that they shouldn't.

But the competitiveness in me always comes out like Hyde to my Dr. Jeckyll

That makes sense to a point. But then you have that same 84 Gold which is selling for 4K; because people expect it to go Diamond.

It goes to an 85; but now what you just bought for 4K has a QS value of 3,500.

I understand they're thinking. But it adds another level to flipping.

Bottom line; I think they did it because if you were savy enough to catch the right time; you could buy four 79 ovr Silvers for around 500 stubs and the exchange them for a Gold pack and QS that card for 1K.

This game IS fun if you go into the matchup knowing that anything can happen and your w/l record, era, and/or batting avg is just a number and doesn't mean anything outside in the real world.

Does it have flaws? Yes.

Is it perfect? No.

Can it ever be perfect? No. And I mean that because one person's 'Perfect' is different than another person's 'Perfect'.

If you have that mindset and just realize that's it's a video game and don't take it serious; you can have fun playing it.

And if you're not having fun playing it; then don't play it. And using 'it's the only baseball game out there' excuse is just that; an excuse.

I doubt this will get answered and I'm pretty sure it will end up getting deleted; but here goes:

After dealing with my most recent opponent; me, and I'm sure other players, would like to know why there is no resolution to Freeze Offs?

I mean they've been a yearly constant since I started playing in 17 and you guys still can't figure out how to avoid them?

I realize that above statement may not have an actual answer, as I'm sure not all freeze offs, minus a few scenarios, are triggered the same.

But if you can't figure out a way to stop them; how hard would it be to figure a way to program it that after a certain amount of 'downtime' the game just ends and the team that's in the lead gets the win?

I just sat thru an 18 hr freeze-off. Normally I would've just quit and moved on; but 1. My opponent was being a tool from the first pitch. and 2. I was winning 3-1 in the tip of the 3rd.

Finally he quit. But not after sitting there for 15+ hours trying to 'steal' a win.

This needs addressed one way or another.

I seem to get so flustered/frustrated playing someone online.

Which sucks as there's no way for me to earn any cards tied to those modes.

I wasn't trying to be a smart@$$; but just because you have 1GB internet, that doesn't mean you're hitting that with WiFi.

You also just said that you have a Smart TV and you stream shows. If you're streaming shows, on the Smart TV, and that's set up to run on wifi, and your streaming and playing at the same time; that will affect your connection speed.

Plus how far away is your console from your router?

If you look at an internet signal as a road you realize that the data packets are cars. If there are a lot of different cars coming from different areas; that road will be congested and traffic will be slow.

Now if you have one of those cars jump on the expressway (Ethernet cable); it's going to run/reach it's destination alot faster.

Also, try this if you can.

Speed test/connection test your console via WiFi. Then test it with the Ethernet cable in it. I guarantee you'll see a faster connection.

Heck, I have 400mbps internet and I can hit close to that, if not that, wired. But if I run wifi, even with my router 2 inches away from my console, I'm lucky if I hit 70mbps.

That's a HUGE difference.

Just got 108 PXP with Bronze reliever Ian Kennedy. It said I pitched 1 inning and got the Win.

1 Inning is 40 PXP
1 Win is 20 PXP
That's 60 PXP total; but since it's online (BR) I get 1.5x for a total of 90 PXP. Where did the other 18 PXP come from?

Second to last game: Match up with some third-world country scrub that can't afford decent internet let alone afford to live in a house that doesn't have a dirt floor.

Last game: Match up with a WS player who has the weather set to rain and not only quick pitches me the first half of the inning; decided to come out starting with holding R2 for the entire time that is allowed.

Yep, not going to miss this piece of [censored] game and won't miss the piece of [censored] people that need to abuse every possible exploit because they have to validate their pathetic existence with how they do in a video game.

That way they can prove to their parents that it was the right thing not having to have them aborted.

Sorry, pretty sure it would be better if half these pieces of [censored] were aborted as soon as medically possible.

And I don't give a flying [censored] about what anyone else here has to say.
