Turned off crossplay and online won’t work

I played a br game against an Xbox player that was super laggy so I turned off cross play. I then disconnected in consecutive games despite my wifi running fine. Now I can’t even access diamond dynasty

Pretty sure your answer could be the four letters that spell out wifi.

I have never had connection issues and have 1gb speed internet. Smart tv working fine streaming shows. Online worked for another game. It’s only DD and it happened after turning off cross play. Wasn’t sure if somebody had anything constructive or helpful. Should’ve expected nothing knowing this forum lol

I wasn't trying to be a smart@$$; but just because you have 1GB internet, that doesn't mean you're hitting that with WiFi.
You also just said that you have a Smart TV and you stream shows. If you're streaming shows, on the Smart TV, and that's set up to run on wifi, and your streaming and playing at the same time; that will affect your connection speed.
Plus how far away is your console from your router?
If you look at an internet signal as a road you realize that the data packets are cars. If there are a lot of different cars coming from different areas; that road will be congested and traffic will be slow.
Now if you have one of those cars jump on the expressway (Ethernet cable); it's going to run/reach it's destination alot faster.
Also, try this if you can.
Speed test/connection test your console via WiFi. Then test it with the Ethernet cable in it. I guarantee you'll see a faster connection.
Heck, I have 400mbps internet and I can hit close to that, if not that, wired. But if I run wifi, even with my router 2 inches away from my console, I'm lucky if I hit 70mbps.
That's a HUGE difference.

Yeah can’t tell the gf she can’t watch her show cause I’m 7-0 in br lol. I turned off my system, reset the router and took a break . Guess the cross play and disconnects were coincidental. Weird it was my first time turning off cross play and first time disconnecting

As stated directly above me, internet speed means nothing if a WiFi connection is being made to a console.
Be hard wired if at all possible, and you will never disconnect.
Been playing since 16 and have never lost connection unless a guy is climbing a pole outside my house, or if my dog pulls out the Ethernet cable.

There is a legit connection issue between Xbox and ps and yall attacking him... there is input delay and lag all game, only against Xbox, its not an internet issue. It's a server issue

How exactly are we attacking him? Yes he said that he turned off cross play because he had a laggy experience with an Xbox user.
But he THEN said that since he turned off cross play he kept getting disconnected and thought it had to do with cross play being turned off.

I have a hard time finding games with it off though, not connection but it takes a while. Which makes no sense bc it never did when it was only on Playstation

I think it's just randomness, so to speak, I've played a handful of BR games tonight and a few were laggy beyond belief.
I even had one where the fielders would 'skate' across the grass to get to the ball.
And I've had another freeze off; but at least that guy quit knowing I was up 4-0.

I think crossplay off was causing the issue. First game tonight and I was disconnected in the first after a foul ball caused a brief freeze and I was disconnected from DD only not PSN. I turned crossplay back on following the game and despite matching with Xbox guys in all of my next 4 games played with no issue.
Weird these were my only 3 disconnects all year in a lot of online games between events, br, etc and they all happened in a 6 game span after I turned off crossplay.
