You can see in the logs very easily. If the logs show:

First inning Team X batting

Player X bunted for a single. Player Y bunted for a single. Player Z bunted for a single. Player A bunted to the pitcher batter out. Player B bunted.

Second inning Team X batting

Player X bunted for a single. Player Y bunted for a single. Player Z bunted for a single. Player A bunted to the pitcher batter out. Player B bunted.

If you see that in every game its painfully obvious that they are cheesing. Eliminate that and you automatically get the bunt dancers, R2 spammers and steal cheesers, drastically improving online play.

Bottom line is SDS won't do much about that. I don't see them making discipline on the servers!! lol And if they have time to put in, it would surely be to fix the gameplay... If they fix that, I'm pretty sure it would help out... not making it perfect but at least people might be less inclined to play like dipsh*t or might mitigate what they do....

Face it SDS doesn't care. There is no reason. A 100% pitch with a 0.00 or even a 0.02 release when you even have the par way off the plate should ever end up down the middle. Well, they can flag the player on the first report. If that's the only time, then nothing happens. If the player is constantly reported by say the same person you then review their game logs. if the guy is reporting him as revenge for losing a legit game then the reporting person gets suspended. If after multiple players report the same person in x amount of games then they review that players game logs.

If after reviewing his logs it is shown that he is in fact cheesing he gets suspended for x amount of games. Second offense a significantly larger amount of time. Third time lifetime ban. False reporting gets the same level of punishment.

Sorry, but SDS can cough up the money to pay a person to review the person with the bad rating and if they have a history of cheesing it would be easy to spot.

If the person who flagged the person as revenge, then SDS can take appropriate action against said player.

SDS can and should pay people to answer to questions we have on this forum for sure. They can surely have people to review flagged players but how would they know if its true or not... It's a "word against mine" type of thing..... Yes if there is many complaints against the same player for the same thing it starts to be suspicious but where do we draw the line.... I totally get the idea behind that and I would be really happy if they can come up with something but I hardly see that being really fair since too many people would just say bad review anytime for anything... imagine the volume they would have to go through!!! Maybe if there is a way that a flag would be raised when many people flag the same player so moderators would just review the important ones... and people complaining too much would also have to have consequences to be sure nobody abuses the system.... but I don't think we are close to see that....

Even though I understand what you mean, I don't think it's a possible thing to do. People will volontarily put bad rating against their opponents even if they are good... It sucks but that's how reality is sadly, no honor online and ego way to big for any bandwith 🤪 I had a similar idea earlier this year to have a maybe a button to report cheesers, but in the end the result would be the same.... It would be great though... After 5 bad reports (could be more or less...) the player gets 1 strike (warning) with 24h ban from online. 2nd strike would be 1 week ban from online play and 3rd strike would be ban from online play until next edition. That would calm people down and skim the m*rons, but in reality, sadly, it doesn't work like that since too many people would missuse that. SDS has a big problem on their hands with not so many (if any) real applicable solutions. We have to deal with the little P.O.S that can't play for the fun of it, the people that think that they have to win everytime, the entitled crybabies that think that have always been rewarded for every little things they ever done.... Like James Hetfield says: "Sad but true"

I just finished it... Went for the Padres first then Pirates... I played every games on veteran and I did not have real problems... I had games go in extras innings, yes, but no real opposition... I lost 1 game against the Reds because it would not let me score lol but besides this one occurrence of "yOu ArE nOt WiNnInG" bs this game in infamous for, I tought it was a fairly easy Conquest... I did not got F***ed over on the map.... I guess I was lucky after reading what you guys have been through...

I can't remember from previous years, but from now on do they still update the schedule or its over until next year? Now we have the 12.12 schedule update (we are the 13 lol) so I was wondering if they stop telling what was coming on on next days....

If they can actually make a game where user inputs, user skills, actually matters for pitching, hitting and fielding it would be a great start. It actually doesn't matter that much in this game. SDS should make the core, the base, the foundation of this game (which is the gameplay) be at the center of their working time for '23. If they come up with a game where what we do has an impact on the end result after 9 innings, the rest could be the exact same to this year and it would be a 1000 times better. There are great ideas in MLBTS I think such as Mini-Seasons, Conquest, Ranked... the different modes are not bad at all in my opinion (even if Mini-season needs some work), the cards collection and what goes around it is good, stadiums are well rendered, players are fine... but since the base of it all (the gameplay) is not on par, all of this doesn't really matter... Too many times do we actually do everything right but the game would not give anything to show and instead you get the kiddo at the other end doing buntcrap or anything along those lines getting hits, RBIs and Ws... And games against CPU, lol, if you play this game enough you can clearly see some patterns during a game and you know where this is going... so yeah, gameplay needs to be fixed first and foremost... once they have done that they could go and do other things... Putting a coat of paint on an unfinished wall in a house built on mud doesn't make the house good...

I played a game a few days ago and my opponent got a no-doubt HR with A.J. Burnett (I made a post on that).... not the first I've seen an unpowered player hit a bomb in the stands in this game on balls nowhere near a place in the zone where he could hit it that far.... Happens quite often against CPU...

Yup! You read that right! I was playing RS, I'm the home team in Old Yankees Stadium, 2nd inning. I have 2022 Finest Aaron Nola on the mound. I pitch a 95mph 4SFB low in the zone a bit outside the zone... My opponent has A.J. Burnett at the plate, hits the 4FSB for a NO-DOUBT 362 feet HOMERUN in left field.... YEP!!! not only is it a HR but it was a no-doubter.... Burnett has 15 CONTACT R and 26 POW R (for this player) and hits a no-doubter... I'm fine with pitchers hittings HRs but this one was ridiculous.... In the meantime, we have hitters with 3 digits stats that hits the ball properly on the high dot on the PCI that end up being nothing mutch besides than flyouts or others bloopers.... I really hope SDS fix the hitting device for 23.....

Well... after another 5 tries or so I finally done it.... but [censored]....

I tried the last showdown again... After 5 tries or so, I finally get to Sale... I manage to score 2, so I'm tied at 11 with 11 outs left to go... sounds like a done deal.... HA-HA-HA!!!!!! after my second run in there was no way to do anything... I manage to get a lucky single, then get the runner to second on a passed ball but besides that, NO WAY in hell did I stood a chance to score the last run... everything I hit was going right at somebody for an out... but yeah the game "works as intended"....

Hahaha!! Thats Showdown in a nutshell lol!!!! Showdown is the worst thing in this game..... I've played each one of them this year and I know I completed 1 for sure (Finest showdown) because it was required for the Finest program and maybe 1 or 2 others but I don't remember.... Each and every time it's been the exact same pattern: 1st try I get to the last boss or the one before last pretty easily. 2nd try I get my [censored] kicked on the first or second boss and 3rd try its an in-between.... It's been like that for EACH. AND. EVERY. ONE. of the showdowns this year.... I always try them to see how it is but like I said I almost never complete them... waste of time because too stupid and not worth it....

The problem with the show is that in my opinion the AI sims the game before the teams step on the field and if the AI deems that your team lost the sim then you will lose the player controlled game too. A top level player can overcome it, or even a weaker player if he catches someone on the right day and the other guy gets frustrated and quits.

However, most of the time if the player the AI declares would lose is not playing as expected then it will go out of its way to cheat on behalf of the other player. Too many times I am having an outstanding pitching performance against another player only to watch after the fourth or fifth inning that my "perfect" pitches aimed for the dirt, high and outside, or some other location will magically go right down the middle for free home runs, or my 99 speed middle infielder with a diamond defense rating is unable to get to a routine ground ball that gets through for an RBI single.

Too many times like OP I catch a player with a plus pitcher like deGrom that throws the pitch in the same spot in a situation where I catch it "perfect" for it to be a routine fly ball, or his 65 speed bronze defender magically chases it down after running an unrealistically long distance and makes a diving grab that Jim Edmonds would be jealous of. I also witness players out of position that play hall of fame defense with zero penalty. Had a guy using Lofton at third base and he played better than Arenado.

Unfortunately, player input means almost nothing in this game as SDS determines the outcome.

Dude!! That is so true... This game is rigged and it's obvious.... I actually just finished a game against a guy taking its sweet a** time pitching... couldnt hit, I had a 8,2 inning perfect game but lost it to a single in bottom of the 9th... so this game goes in 10th, I cant score a run, he comes to the plate, I get his 1st bast out on a popup, then a grounder to 2nd base, his runner (99 speed) goes to 3rd so now its 2 out and 99 speed on 3rd base. He puts Kwan (84 speed) at bat, and he bunts... I was sure he was gonna do that so I pitched a FB up and in that ended inside and out of the box.... he gets a bunt toward 1st anyways, my 1st baseman Pujols takes his SWEEEEEEEET time to field the ball while my pitcher Grayson ALSO takes his SWEEEEET time to go to first.... no reason to rush its just the game on the line 🥴 so Kwan is safe on 1st and I lose the game... I dont care W or L in RS I just grind the innings but FFS does it suck to lose that way... thats one example of stupid outcome i went through but I have a truck load of examples... like that... less on online play but it still happens.... game is rigged no doubt about it, especially against CPU... If you play the game enough yoh get to see some patterns... just sucks that skills (or lack of... ) account for maybe 20-30% of an outcome sometimes... there are games though that are fair i think and I wonder why that is... why sometimes the game decides some outcome and other time its more relying on people playing...

Yeah tha's so bad.... and stupid.... there is so many people that just can't play a game for the fun of it and need immediate wins, accomplishment, satisfaction... those people must have had an award when growing up for everything they did, been told that they were the best and deserved it.... so when they don't get what they want IRL or when things don't go how they want I guess they get pissed off so they need to cheat their way in a video game to get a W.... life must be hard for them...

So I finally chose Piazza... I got Zack Britton in the Forever program and he was the 30th Milestone card I needed to complete the collection. Also as @Mothers-Milk237_XBL and @Blind_Bleeder said theres a crapton of good pitchers and less catchers.... and I still needed 10 Finest cards to complete that collection... I did not tried it yet but I did hit good with him with the Takashi Okazaki card...

You can leave it like that and let him wait while you do something else... I know it sucks if you want to play but he will need to wait also and he won't be able to play either... so that would be on him

If you had the choice between Finest Mike Piazza and Milestone Randy Johnson, who would you choose...??

Have tried to do the Slugfest mission? 5HRs in 1 game on All-Stars.... I just don't see that happening lol!!!! Everything off the plate for easy BBs or HBPs and when it's in there its often 3 digits FB or when you hit the ball it's right at someone, diving, foul.... so 5 HR in 1 game hahahha I don't think so
