@LHUBison58_XBL lol he’s just the king of fear mongering. You've never needed the entire LS collection. Ive skipped it every year but one and always do the legend/flashback collection except for the original for the T206.

You really wanna look for cards that everybody got a maximum of ONE TIME.

The XP path cards are usually great although the first XP path was WBC cards and its own collection but the second season works. Event cards are also only earnable once, great option. Weekend classic cards are rare and earnable one time. The pre order cards like Griffey Chipper and Halladay are all way behind the power curve but were only obtainable one time. Anything people RACE to get and immediately sell are what you are looking for.

Don't invest in cards from Diamond quest because people can get the an unlimited amount of times.

You can even look through each series and see how some only have one or two cards you can buy. The others are through TA or collections. You almost ALWAYS need to get those cards. I think it’s Spencer Strider who is the only none earnable or collection card in his series. Basically a bullseye. Same with Miller and Vmart as mentioned earlier.

Neither have you, neither has the other guy you are all replying too…Does playing the cpu actually get THAT boring that after going 222-2 you wanna come LARP being a competitive online player and tell everyone how good you are? Because no need, we can see it…+99% win rate lmfao.

If you feel like you hit better righty or lefty you could try platoons. I hit like a full .150 points higher with lefties AND hit righties better than lefties regardless so I’ll throw in guys like Lowe Griffey and Ohtani who hit really well against RHP and if they throw an RHP perfect. If not and I struggle against a L/L match up I switch sub someone who hits switch like Yoan Moncada… not quite as good but hits better against RH to begin with. (Ben Zobrist used to be the king of this before he could play anywhere and hit LHP better)

Guys like Ryan Howard crush the ball from one side and are terrible against the opposite, if you bring in a righty and they bring in a righty right after it’s not a great strategy. If you switched him with someone like Eddie Murray who hits switch…bingo you get the advantage to start or for the rest of the game.

This has always worked well for me because it seems like alot of guys who hit switch, also hit better from the right side against lefties.

Years ago people would use the bench for pinch hitters but we have a universal DH. Most people don’t use there whole bench but why not? My last two bench players is always a speed guy who I can sub in for my catcher and then someone like Gibson who could pinch hit or just take over C if I need.

Lineup strategies helped me make WS quite a few times when I was first starting I can promise you that.

And if they hit amazing for you, don’t listen to other people. Swings have always mattered. I’ve used the same three players for the 3HR in a row mission every extreme drop for years.

Who has that ladies pitch repertoire…5 different curveballs and 5 different fastballs is something we need for guys like Darvish

Everyday. Multiple times a day…..What do you really expect. These guys had cover athletes break the game because of dreadlocks.

I heard once they remove online franchise the servers and menus should be amazing so just wait it out it’s only been a few years give them some time.

It and a couple other moments are set up with RTTS settings and I’m not sure you can switch them.

Move your glove to where the ball is going to be thrown so you catch it.

Hit triangle or whatever the top button is on Xbox to throw to second base..

hen it’ll go into a weird slow motion where you move the right stick and aim it at the target which will be at second base. Then hit R2 or RT to throw the ball.

A couple other moments have RTTS setting for defence. All you need to do in those ones is aim towards the target with the right stick and hit R2 to throw. But when you play catcher you need to catch it, then throw to second, then hit the throw.

Again, you can probably change it somewhere as well under the “mode specific” settings.

Unlike all the “I played a cheater” threads in years passed, people actually are this year. It’s just kinda hard to tell because even when they cheat The Show is like “that’s baseball”

Apparently some pitchers somehow aren’t updated for the scripts all the time. So when you face a cheater and bring in certain pitchers they all of a sudden can’t swing after scoring like 7 P/P homeruns in a row. Pretty funny tbh. Still haven’t faced one so I doubt it’s as common as people say but I have seen pretty wild clips.

Once they take out online franchise the servers will be fantastic. Also the PCI isn’t the bat.

Everybody just got packs from Weekend classic and everybody got the same 4 WBC diamonds worth 3k that they already collected. Now everybody gained stubs but nobody actually got the good cards. Just Severino and Quintana again and again.

They each have different requirements. For power you need a certain amount of homeruns, contact is hits, fielding is innings. You’ll unlock some before others everytime. Once you go to diamond you can take the +5 or pick from the specific ones once you get the requirements which at that point will be multiple things like inning played and hits. Or Homeruns AND hits. You can also still select the gold or silver boosts if you wanted.

Contact-Fielding seems really good IMO. You don’t just get contact boosts you also get vision and clutch, which is basically contact on both sides with RISP. Then with fielding you also get arm strength power and still get some speed boosts. Just lots of free attributes vs adding 6 or 7 power per side….

@aaronjw76_PSN This cant be true. There is no leg up from buying cards that you can’t grind. They aren’t better than the free cards, never have been, never will be. There is absolutely no pay to win avenue in the game at all.

@datnickdogg351_PSN When you load into a game and you choose the time of day and other stuff you have an option between RoFlo or the other. Pick the other and the creepy dude won’t act like he’s sitting next to you cracking jokes.
