Steam is the only reason you don’t already have adds in video games on consoles. They all have product placement but sellable adds companies could buy would already be here. Sony and Microsoft try to get around it all the time and fail because Devs need Steam to sell on PC, and Steam are cool guys that think that would suck and say no.

Mine is that I’m not going to feed into the constant negativity that seems to trickle down from content creators and then gets repeated here. Some people come here day after day just looking for the next thing to nitpick while barely acknowledging anything positive.
I’m simply saying that I personally have not had these issues against the CPU. Are perfect-perfect outs annoying? Of course. But the vast majority of my perfect-perfects are still hits. And calling offline gameplay a “scam” because the CPU throws too many balls or makes good defensive plays is just ridiculous to me. What exactly does SDS gain by secretly making you take a few extra pitches against the CPU?
If disagreeing with that is “gaslighting,” then so be it. But statements about SDS purposely rigging offline games to “halt progress” make me cringe.
I’d argue they’ve done it in showdowns for years and I complete almost every showdown first try. It doesn’t mean I don’t score 15 runs on 5 outs then somehow get 12 straight outs when I need 2 more runs and have it come down to the final out at a ridiculous rate.

This wouldn't work. They need steady income through the season to afford all of the in-season content and continual patches, etc.
This isn't a game from the 90s that gets made, released, and forgotten about while they move onto the next one. It has a full life cycle which needs continuous nourishment from the studio. And that means they need continuous income throughout the year. If you want them to stop monetizing it completely the game itself would have to be like $1000 or more.
I do think they have pushed over the limit of necessary monetization myself, but taking it away from them completely is a ridiculous idea.
Maybe they plant now so next year it grows big and strong earlier and can feed itself come drought season? WTF are you talking about. The game can’t survive without several nourishment payments? This place gets dumber by the minute.

You can do that all inside 30 seconds and they somehow know the exact amount of stubs you were going to undercut the card

If you have someone constantly telling you they will do something and don’t do it or just lie outright to you…what course of action are you most likely to take? Complain about them over and over or just cut ties and put yourself in a better personal head space?
They don't need to care about them. They’ve already trained them so well removing TA after 10 years and turning it into 12 collections you can’t finish without spending 100 dollars or 50 hours is a good thing. Adding limits on cards you can make money on is a good thing!! Taking away roster updates just incase 20 cards wasn’t a low enough cap is a good thing!! Letting exploiters earn 827179 packs while taking away theirs is actually a good thing!! Ruining the competitive aspect of weekend classic the only mode where you can earn substantial stubs is a good thing! Being forced to play EVERY offline mode AND EVERY online mode including the co-op you can’t get games in, is actually a good thing

Yes SDS did a good job with this drop, but in all honesty it's probably NOT because of players criticizing. It's mostly probably due to a 40% player drop due to CF coming out. Again though the content was good and actually fixing things that should've been fixed day 1, as well as finally trying to remove shrinkage after lieing about it
