I think it’s easily the biggest pack surge in the history of the game. The amount of 85+ diamonds packs that get opened will be in the thousands. Normal packs in the tens of thousands. Everybody will also get stubs and stubs from cards they sell so it will offset somewhat.

I assume it’ll be a lot like weekend league in EA games, people will want the best cards they can afford right up until they finish which is why lots of cards are still keeping value. Then everything apart from 5-6 cards will come crashing down. Ohtani and Judge may even go up with the amount of stubs people get and being the gatekeepers. I think cards like Lindor crash like a penguin tariff was implemented.

Luckily there is nothing wrong with being terrible and needing to face bronze and common pitchers in slow motion and wanting that self confidence boost that it’s somehow “HOF” difficulty. Years ago I was terrible for a couple weeks as well. I get it. You’ll be alright just keep conquering those territories and soon you’ll move on from slow motion gameplay where they don’t have to manipulate it from the start to help you get passed the finish line.

After checking receipts on the online ranked leaderboard in no particular order the heavy hitters above with NO ISSUES have an online ratings of 200, 380, 444 and an absolutely MASSIVE 462 rating along with the one too scared to even load up online. Yes, not a single person telling you how wrong you are has been within 100 points of HOF.

@BIG-DADDY-42_XBL a flashback is any version of a player that is currently in the mlb and has a live series card, that is NOT the live series card.

Mike Trout topps now = flashback
Jolt Kyle Schwarber = flashback
Jolt Roy Halladay /= flashback, it’s a legend because he’s retired, same with Ruth, Thomas Biggio and so on.

Basically any player from the pipeline, summer series, new threads, and Tokyo series will work.

I think it’s more players and overalls. This game has always played well with silvers and golds, even some diamonds. It’s the 120 contact vision and K/9 that start to break the gameplay. It becomes very hard to get a swinging strike on 120 contact 115 vision. You can put it as far in the dirt or away as possible and foul balls are still possible.

@CrazyT3478_PSN The harder the setting you use, the more rewarded you are, for hitting and pitching. People that use timing only hitting basically leave it up to the game and the attributes to decide what happens. It’s more of a realistic setting as far as stats and gameplay. You won’t hit .500 on timing only. The game is literally coded for that not to happen. If you get in a good count and time a fastball that’s in the zone it’s probably gone, it’s coded that way, but so is the slider away to be a strikeout, and the fastball up and in to break a bat, a sinker just outside the zone is always going to be a ground ball. You’re basically watching the game play itself on these settings.

I used to play timing only, I hit .214 and won like 2/10 games in online franchise. It’s not the answer.

Pretty sure in about two weeks for the weekend series the prices will come down pretty significantly. I can’t think of anytime in years that people will all be getting that many packs and prizes.

I just find it annoying the promo packs always outweigh the grind-able cards now. This was never the case before. Now it’s always the case.

Could be cope but in all honesty this game is a mess and always has been. 4 years ago I lived in a place that I would routinely disconnect from for no reason unlike the house previous or after. Only this game no other game. My fault obviously.

Now for 25 my nearly brand new PS5 overheats every game and yes you guess it, no other game overheats when I play it. Not even Marvel Rivals causing $3000 PCs to crash has issues.. There is always something with this game, where you live, your internet, the ping, if your player has dreadlocks, it’s just poorly optimized.

The one bright side that isn’t being talked about much on here (not a big comp scene on this forum) is the weekend classic is full of insane rewards, and even in the middle ranks. So even if you can’t make WS anymore, you can find a tier you’re competitive in and compete for some pretty insane rewards at the end of the season. The market crash is going to be biblical.

@Teak2112_MLBTS 100% people complained and now years later SDS has truly gotten away from the very original and cool concept they started where every card you used was an actual topps baseball card from the year they were trying to represent with matching attributes.

Something about using an Aaron Judge rookie cards with attributes based on his rookie season against a Post Season Corey Kluber with attribute based on a playoff run was much more satisfying that completely made up scenarios in my opinion.

@Tylerslikewhoa_XBL because the best players constantly put them on Twitter where more eyes see it than this website. Why is it always the offline players with a 3-34 record who hits .142 that think this doesn’t exist? Why is it they can add quirks to players that literally read “performs better when team is trailing” and you still can’t comprehend how easy it is to apply that same thing to en entire team? And in on final question, what year have you ever had a winning record? You are too scared to even play online, all you do is wonder lmao.

The irony is that you hate DQ because you’ve sat around and played MS and conquest on rookie for over 5 years. Shockingly others have advanced passed conquering territories with an X button. The cards are 10k. Thousands of people are having no issue.

Lol there’s like a thousand things. It ever shows progress for player programs I haven’t unlocked yet. 2ks adjustable progress board would go along way. Hopefully in MLB 31 or something.

@urbanphilosophy_XBL people struggle with this mightily. Stuck in the loop of using cards they hate just to get cards they won’t use. That said the first collection isn’t far of man. 4/4 is just around the corner. So set collections are probably bigger than ever this year.

@LCS-Jumbo_XBL He will definitely jump back up. The best collection investments are usually cards that you can only earn one time like old BR silver and gold rewards from the BR program. The diamonds in quest are earn-able more than once but not a lot of people are going to keep playing it and a lot aren’t even going to do it because the mode is frustrating. It’s a perfect middle ground I’d say. Especially the hitters, the pitchers are probably being kept at a much higher rate than the hitters because they are just better for comp players.

It’s the worst Team Affinity of all time no question. Name one that was longer for less? This is the longest AND has the worst rewards ever. I’m all for splitting the divisions back to teams but forcing you to essentially do TA-TA4 in its entirety for a single finest come November is strange. I dunno though, you do get that one single choice pack right before Finest which should really help the pipeline collection come….November.
