It’s so you can’t reroll your draft 25 times and end up with two supercharged players and three diamond switch hitters every time. You spend 1500 and immediately get a pack that costs 1500. Pretty simple trade off.
I don’t blame people I blame SDS. Switch hitters get an inherent advantage AND were made to be higher rated cards than all the others. Even if you don’t know of the bonuses, you would likely take the card with higher stats anyway. Most of the switch hitters have higher stats than their replacements.
They needed some lefty and righty hitters to be the higher rated cards in programs to counter it but it just wouldn’t have pushed the end collections the same way.
Could have easily made Granderson the highest card or Realmuto, but of course it was Happ. Could have made the CityScape collection Jeter or Ortiz. Had to be mantle. Could have made the flashback spotlight anyone. Had to be Chipper. Weekend classic rewards…switch hitters.
I loved during the live stream when they talked about how they like to play their own way. And proceeded to explain how you can either do the moments FIRST then the missions, or the missions FIRST then moments. The options are truly endless.
Griffey Mantle and a Chipper will all get better cards. I put nothing into them and sold off all for the LS.
You could easily just take your extra stubs and buy some May spotlight cards and wait for them to go up when it comes out. You’d probably buy Griffey back just off that if you still wanted him and it would be zero effort.
@Rhyno1986_XBL You can go watch the video Kyle put out or keep pretending you did. The cheats will get you all kinds of hits lmao. It’s not all homeruns…SDS doesn’t make a good enough game. They don’t make good enough cheats. It also doesn’t OVERRIDE PAR and just dot the corner all game lol.
I mean yeah on AS everybody is hittable, but like 95% of AS players also have a weakness or like… 5. It’s almost always going to be high velo that gets people. Sometimes they SMASH fastballs but those guys usually swing at every change up in the dirt, just throw them one high fastball every inning to keep them occupied.
Try Andy Cooper. He isn’t a glitch or anything. Just genuinely fun. Usually you don’t get that kind of control on somebody that also throws 97-98 and has a screwball. He’s will give people on AS a tough time with the control and screwball.
I can’t get the pack that these cards come in. Is it because I’m in a bronze league or whatever? I’m new to weekend classic so I don’t know how this works but I’ve won around 8 or 9 games now and nothing.
Before Weekend classic starts it shows the rewards for each category. Once it starts it only shows the rewards for your specific category. You needed silver for the new cards I believe.
The first 6 games give 6 specific rewards than after that it’s just a pack for each win. Once it ends they won’t have the new one for a bit, but eventually you’ll be able to see all the tiers and what they all give out before the next one starts.
The content video from Friday will also show everything if you are dying to see
And even with all that hundreds of thousands of people still do it because it’s insanely fun. The same 6 people just fear monger on here daily and over half of it is lies. Game is super fun online or offline as long as you don’t take it too seriously.
I think I faced him 4/6 games in WC. The only good part is you know they can’t hit lol. One of them left first inning after he made an error lol. Different breed some of them guys
I really like the choices because it lets you get a Lindor or Soto who are quite popular players without buying the LS they gatekeep, Or if you own the LS like myself you can just take the pretty big influx in stubs.
It’s just weird it’s two current Mets, and the new threads program was very Mets heavy.
@Rhyno1986_XBL because your perfect were outs means nothing, it happens. I'm watching the jays game right now and vladdy just hit a 110mph liner to first for an out. Also with the cheating program that has been exposed it will not swing at any pitches out of the strike zone. So unless someone has another cheating program that swings at pitches out if the strike zone (why would they want that?) Then I think maybe you just lost this game and decided to blame it on cheaters.
I've faced cheaters and they will not swing at any pitches outside the zone but every single pitch in the zone will be perfect, every one. Also their pitching is all perfects.

Lol it gets you tons of hits that aren’t homeruns and tons that aren’t perfect. You are another person that decided you know everything about all the cheats when you don’t. I hate to break it to you, but there multiple cheating programs out there. That’s kinda how it works, they compete with each other to make better cheats so people buy those and not the others.

Not even close to the worst for me. I didn’t make it through the second inning in the HR/9 year and Foul tip year.
I just miss grind only cards you couldn’t buy and had to earn. The rest isn’t even noticeable for me. I woulda went all year and never noticed the 20 card limit.
I know the silver wheel is just a visual glitch. The tactics to get stubs from people has always been there. For me it’s just the content that kills it.
The other problems are meh even with cheaters. This game isn’t an E sport, it’s ONE button and you don't even need to press it to catch. If you wanted to go pro and make money you picked the wrong game a long time.
Surely it stands for switch hitter and this is another hilarious inside joke from SDS.

@LIONED-33_XBL Konami does the same thing with Fifa every year. They trick all the people mad at EA into thinking PES is an actual game because the graphics are on par but the gameplay is a decade behind FIFA and even more scripted.
They still make Yakuza games over in Japan that sell like hotcakes. They play like the Yakuza games I played 20 years ago. Japan loves arcade like games, not realistic type games. I would love to see them succeed. The odds are lower than a Ballin is Habit pack.
@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS the combat is the only reason I have played it yet. I payed the first one, spent about 5 hours trying to figure out the combat, and then quit.
It looks amazing tho.
You aren’t wrong tbh. It’s still a indie company so the game is janky in ways and combat is one. But it’s also a indie company, so the devs make one game and it’s full heart and soul stuff. It has one of the most immersive storylines I’ve played in a while. Which normally I don’t like unless I can play how I want, and my god can you do whatever you want in that game lol.
Also wolves were killing me until I upgraded my skills for combat. That is a huge part of the game and a bit annoying. You’re kind of meant to be fodder at the start so when you meet the random NPCs they teach you things your character doesn’t know yet. It’s sort of by design to be really tough to kill anything because you can walk through the game right to the boss kinda like Fallout games.
There used to be a guy that would post roster update predictions that were like 90% accurate. He did YouTube videos that were like an hour long and broke it all down further. He basically had solved their algorithm.
When he’d post on here to be helpful people would bash him every time for trying to manipulate cards he had. Literally millions of free stubs and people not only ignored him but hated on his threads like every thread. You could spend hours and hours giving your info on here and nothing will happen to it. You can give every ingredient for the recipe and people won’t cook a single thing.
KCD II was fantastic but you’ll need hundreds of hours lol
