I think it’s easily the biggest pack surge in the history of the game. The amount of 85+ diamonds packs that get opened will be in the thousands. Normal packs in the tens of thousands. Everybody will also get stubs and stubs from cards they sell so it will offset somewhat.

I assume it’ll be a lot like weekend league in EA games, people will want the best cards they can afford right up until they finish which is why lots of cards are still keeping value. Then everything apart from 5-6 cards will come crashing down. Ohtani and Judge may even go up with the amount of stubs people get and being the gatekeepers. I think cards like Lindor crash like a penguin tariff was implemented.

Luckily there is nothing wrong with being terrible and needing to face bronze and common pitchers in slow motion and wanting that self confidence boost that it’s somehow “HOF” difficulty. Years ago I was terrible for a couple weeks as well. I get it. You’ll be alright just keep conquering those territories and soon you’ll move on from slow motion gameplay where they don’t have to manipulate it from the start to help you get passed the finish line.

After checking receipts on the online ranked leaderboard in no particular order the heavy hitters above with NO ISSUES have an online ratings of 200, 380, 444 and an absolutely MASSIVE 462 rating along with the one too scared to even load up online. Yes, not a single person telling you how wrong you are has been within 100 points of HOF.

Jolt Roy Halladay /= flashback, it’s a legend because he’s retired, same with Ruth, Thomas Biggio and so on.

Basically any player from the pipeline, summer series, new threads, and Tokyo series will work.

I think it’s more players and overalls. This game has always played well with silvers and golds, even some diamonds. It’s the 120 contact vision and K/9 that start to break the gameplay. It becomes very hard to get a swinging strike on 120 contact 115 vision. You can put it as far in the dirt or away as possible and foul balls are still possible.

@CrazyT3478_PSN The harder the setting you use, the more rewarded you are, for hitting and pitching. People that use timing only hitting basically leave it up to the game and the attributes to decide what happens. It’s more of a realistic setting as far as stats and gameplay. You won’t hit .500 on timing only. The game is literally coded for that not to happen. If you get in a good count and time a fastball that’s in the zone it’s probably gone, it’s coded that way, but so is the slider away to be a strikeout, and the fastball up and in to break a bat, a sinker just outside the zone is always going to be a ground ball. You’re basically watching the game play itself on these settings.

I used to play timing only, I hit .214 and won like 2/10 games in online franchise. It’s not the answer.

Pretty sure in about two weeks for the weekend series the prices will come down pretty significantly. I can’t think of anytime in years that people will all be getting that many packs and prizes.

I just find it annoying the promo packs always outweigh the grind-able cards now. This was never the case before. Now it’s always the case.
