I have to limit myself to avoid burnout. Like today I did the last two Moments for the Ford Evolution, then played a 9 inning game on rookie with him pitching so that I could get both the strikeouts and complete games missions done. Finally played a 9 inning game on All-Star to complete the Trammel program.

That was a lot for me. I doubt that I play anymore today. Shoot unless they drop more content between now and the next inning I may just take a break until then.

Yeah I’m done until the 5th inning comes out with the exception of the daily moments.

Was my first thought but I doubt they give him another card. His defense has been pretty bad too so I’m not sure if they’d be able to even get his card to 99.

Actual defense doesn’t matter to SDS when they do their ratings. They still have Tatis as a diamond defense despite league MLB in errors this year. And Judge is somehow a 99 on defense.

A lot of people rather play vs CPU than deal with the nonsense that goes on in RS!

This!!! I like the consistency of the computer versus so many of the maniacs online.

I play exclusively offline too. Doesn’t get boring for me. I rotate cards a lot and play a lot on the conquest national map so there is a reward for continuing to play. And when I play vs CPU I play in a lot of different stadiums to keep things fresh too. I enjoy the calm consistency of the computer as opposed to a lot of the maniacs in online play.

I like to mix it up so I only have Jackie and a Edgar Martinez as P4. But I have at least P1 on every diamond released so far.

After about 30 tries, finally roped one into the left center gap and two hopped the wall. Relay throw came in from the shortstop that pulled the catcher away from the plate, at which time he took two steps and dove to tag me out before scoring on the inside the parker. Shut it down after that.

I feel your pain. I got a diving catcher tag to the foot as I slid into home on one of the earlier tries. A lot of swear words came out of my mouth on that one.

Last month they went two over the amount for the gold watch, so people can skip this and still get the gold watch this month. Also, you only need to get the gold watch once!

Yes but I’m guessing most people haven’t bothered to get it and they want to keep it that way. It’s one of the items you can use towards the goat equipment so I assume they want to keep it rare. There are only 6 days left in the month and 7 points left to get to the gold watch so I guess it would depend on how many double point days they do as to how many a person can miss. And based on the comments yesterday I think a lot of people skipped the 14Ks with Bieber moment already.

Yeah defense has always been the thing they most clearly manipulate to get a player at the overall level the want. I remember last year when Luis Robert was hitting like .160 they had his defense up at like a 96 to keep him a gold overall. Judge is another one. They gave him a 99 fielding even though advanced metrics show him to be a below average fielder.

I have an all Mariners team every year in addition to my normal lineup. And I usually have an all speed team.

I’ve always laughed at how SDS props up the numbers of the players they like, but I just noticed one today that made me chuckle. How is Tatis, who leads MLB in errors, and has by a long shot the worst fielding % in MLB at SS, a diamond on defense? JP Crawford won a gold glove last year and may win another this year and he’s only an 80. Kevin Newman on the Pirates who has 1 error for the entire season and leads all SS in fielding % is a 60 fielding…..

I have two over 500 feet. Both in the past week. The new Pablo Sandoval hit one 504 for his first hit with me and Awards Nelson Cruz hit one 503.

Not sure if some of you guys realize this, but they do it at the lowest traffic time possible. Most normal people don't wake up and go straight to playing video games. People must have pretty sad lives that servers being down is this big of a deal... when they go down the only thing better to do you can think of, is to come here and cry about it. It was scheduled maintenance.... life will go on even if you can't play the Show for 2 hours.

Oh man, some guy just called my life sad for complaining about a patch taking 2 hours and disrupting my morning routine. What will i do now? Maybe I should’ve spent the time posting about how other people are sad instead. Maybe that would’ve made my life less sad.

Judging a 20 year old future star by his first few months is nuts. But, the bigger question is how is Franco’s live series card a gold?

Lawyer. Still working remotely so I don’t have to get up early to fight traffic. So I typically use that time to play a quick game.
